Thy_Obsessive_Freak wrote:Interesting, thank you for posting how you did the fur Varpool, I might be able to apply it to my own art at some point as I do like the way you do fur.
By the way great work on your greatest piece, the tongue, interaction and fur is just fantasitic, also A on the clothes fold, details and eyes.. The human head though could dow ith being a little wider and she looks far to twisted around if you don't mind me saying, plus right hand looks broken. But again excellent work.
Thank you for the comment, I get what you mean about her body being all twisted, I didn't really rely on a reference.
noxux wrote:Looks great, I think that way of drawing the fur will improve Vars fur.
Yep yep, I might change or improvise on the fur, I'm not sure.

Nice job as always dude. Your animal character looks cool and cute at the same time, I had no idea he was that big compared to a human though, but as I said that's pretty cool. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I like the use of green for the fur, it makes the animal look fun and healthy and happy.

Hehe thank you Mutt!
Yea, he's a pretty big doggy. And I thought that using the green would be best, it's a really upbeat color.
aww shiet though, I have to redo that picture since I had my computer restored. But I can just lineart whatever's there and finish it.
It's a Zacharie! uwu

Heh, good work.

Companion Cude if she were human... whoa.
Great work, though!

Well with the cat mask, I can say he does look like a humanoid companion cube.
Thanks for the comments, guys. ^^

Thanks Mutt! Means a lot.
Well, I actually didn't like Sucre much, but then I realized how adorable she is, er and I wanted to test out overlay, since it made my colors look all funky.

I love to see this new art from you. Don't get me wrong, I dug your older stuff, but I don't focus too much on animals and stuff. Though back in the day your art style, coloring, and everything was good. But I'm liking these new characters of yours. And I see you're working at pixel art, which is fantastic! It's a tough thing to do.

Hoping to find my own style soon, y'know just seeing what's comfortable. Although pixel art isn't my strongest point, I'll try to see how it works, since it's not the same as drawing, like you kinda have to control every pixel or it'll look weird. Thanks for the comment, Brax! :D
Speaking of animals though, I drew one of my OC's for an upcoming project.

Okay... Been a while since I looked at your thread (I forget to look at people's threads okay, I'm a forgetful person) and you've certainly improved far exceedingly that its like your a different artist now. By how your different now, you're arts more detailed and 3D now. Like your latest one shows you have your animals more slender and formed. Although right now you swab the shade a bit too much at the moment that I can tell a brush was there and it's actually a shadow being protected, really I'd recommend looking more into shadows in my opinion at the moment.

Thank yew mr mosama, I definitely will :3
Also, the cover that I posted earlier was for a comic, but not sure if I should post it here since it has tons of trigger warnings.
This was for an art trade, sorry my style can't capture Kitsune's "kawaii-ness" :c

Whoa, nice one! This looks great. One thing, though. The index and middle fingers seem proportionally to small compared to the rest of the body.
Other than that, I love it. Keep it up, man!

Your stuff's pretty cool. There are great leaps of improvement between your posts in this thread. I like your usage of bold bright colors, like the previous art trade you did with a character with purple hair, and the little fox creature with the pretty multicolored tail.
Your latest image's pretty good, but I have to agree with Sigment on the hand. It's a little wonky looking, the palm looks a tad too big relative to the fingers (or the fingers too short relative to the palm) but a few practice sketches of actual hands will definitely give you a better understanding on them.
Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice guys!
tbh I thought something was a bit off with the whole body, so I shrunk that down a bit, but I'll be fixing the hands right now.
I have a bunch of other drawings I wanna finish soon, so expect an art dump somewhere this month.
