Doc you really are quite good with the tablet, though I'm still impressed at how well you did with the mouse!

one suggestion I would make to your Charles and Romana pic (if you weren't already planning on adding it) would be adding a line to show the inside of her mouth to...I really don't know how to word it better than saying to make her look less like pacman. you get what I mean?

Thanks :3

And yeah, in one of my earlier drafts, I did try to add the inside of her mouth, but I just couldn't get it to look right...I think it's because of the funny angle she's at (Charles is facing slightly towards us whilst Romana's position is more profile). But I'll try again to get the mouth right.
I agree it looks odd, but so far that's the best I've been able to get it D: I really need more practice with drawing mouths, I think.

if you don't mind a suggestion, here's how I would recommend doing it (I tried to keep in with your style)

Thanks, the mouth does look a lot better like that, I have to say.
Thing is, I can't work out what it is, but something still doesn't look quite right about it...or maybe that's just me? I don't know. :/

well your facial construction on the profile is a little odd, to be honest. I suggest googling up some pics of profiles or even looking at your own face in profile and see if you can get her to look more natural

@Lily: Yeah, I need to work on drawing people from a profile view. Heck, I need to practise and learn more about drawing people in general.

@Asmo: It is supposed to creep you out :)

@Asobi: D: Your tablet is so nice. It looks a lot better than mine.

Behold, I finally got around to fixing it!
Thanks Lily, I used your edit as a reference for fixing this. I'm hoping (crossed fingers) it looks better now. I can see some other things that need tweaking, but to honest I could spend hours tweaking it and still not be happy with it.

See if you can spot the differences between the original pic and the fixed one ;D
And yes, I just discovered how to make the background transparent. I might not be keeping it that way for the final piece, though...it was just a little bit of an experiment.

Unless there's anything drastically wrong with it (please let me know if you spot anything), next step will be to shade/colour it properly...finally :P

Charles has more creases in his face, you can see the inside of Romana's mouth and she now has eyelashes plus slightly thicker eyebrows. Part of her hair now covers her neck (not to mention that one string of hair is missing from her bangs, the bangs are also slightly higher) and you can see the inside of the coat. There is less creases in Romana's scarf and you can see it hanging over her right shoulder. She also has a second set of pockets.

Also, slightly smaller boobs.

The edits look nice Doc :D

I'm impressed, you found almost all of them :D
And thank you. Who knows, with any luck, I might actually get this finished by Christmas XD

What can I say? I kicked butt in those "Spot the Differences" games that you played as a kid :3

And that would make the perfect Christmas present.
