Yup. Its pretty easy to use, if you're used to Illustrator. Basically the same principle, just in 3D :P

Where'd you find those textures and decals? I like 'em.

www.cgtextures.com

Best texture site out there if you ask me! Just be aware that without a premium account, you can only download 15mb worth of textures a day. I've never actually hit that number though, but its good to be aware of.
As for decals, the bullet holes are brushes, the pin-up a simple google search, and the text is just text :P

It's adorable :3 (that size comparison from background)

Them legs, does the mech move about via thruster lifts located under the cover panels above the main legs?

It actually has knees underneath those rounded plates at the front, its legs are bend, giving it that short stature.

Also, dont compare it to the background, its just a standard skybox I used to fill in the otherwise boring grey background.

Well, you're options were that, or a 3D Skybox... which really would have made it seem tiny.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that... you mean like actually building and rendering a 3D environment?

Nah. Sorry, was stuck in Hammer logic (been learning how to use it for a while). In there, 3D skyboxes are linked to to another box with a "camera", which displays everything in the second box in (I think) 16x scaling.

So, say you put your robot in one box, and put 3d skybox textures on the walls. Then in a second box (again talking about the Hammer editor here) you put the camera and a few different items. The items would be shown outside the bounds of the first box, with their size multiplied several times. It's usually how mapmakers add environments outside the bounds of their maps, besides using a basic skybox.

I feel like the body should sit a tid bit farther back then t'where it is right now... yes I am aware the legs are structured to compensate for the weight balance of the body, but, it's just an opinion... good stuff Asmo :3

That symbol in the star reminds me of Code Lyoko. I think it's because I can't see the top and bottom most knobs.
