Well, no new art, but general news about me in case anyone was wondering (probably not).

As of today, I am a Poolee of the United States Marine Corps.

As things currently stand, I'll ship out to Boot Camp on 20090105. (1/5/09)

Ha...

I wonder how this'll all turn out.

I just hope I can make fitness standards before ship-out.

Right now I need to lose some weight and really need to work on my upper body strength...

(I can't do a single pull-up, hah, and I need to do at least 2 to ship out to the Recruit Training... I'm able to do at least the minimum in crunches and run-time though...)

Doesn't leave much time or energy to draw. Hah...

Okay, time to hit the gym hard my friend. However, you can do sets of push-ups at home to get your arms and chest strong. If you have a weight set, you can do overhead pull-ups which will help you out. You are going to be fine! Happy Turkey day in advance as well! :mrgreen:

Okay, for the field expediant method. Find one of those old gym bags if there is one big one around your place, or a decent size suit case. You then fill it up with heavy clothes and things that will not break the bag/suit case. Then you go for it. If you dad has anything that you can grab in the garage, that would do also. There is always on line, on how to do exercises when there is no gym or equipment around. Check it out! Good luck!

Bah, my ship-date's been delayed til' February in the least...

Bah!

And I really wanted to get the hell out of here too... (to go to Boot Camp...)

So now I spend the better part of my days PTing with a certain USMC Corporal until my new ship-out date. Funny guy when he wants to be. He doesn't usually want to be.

Should see him though, guy's an animal. His arms are huge!

Hey Man, sorry about the delay, it happens sometimes. It all depends where are you going for bootcamp and if the cycles are too full or not too full. Just do the PT so you'll be at least somewhat ready physically, the mental part is all up to you! Good luck Bro and don't loose focus! :mrgreen:
