Because DBZ was a fad. It's not like Bleach or Naruto which people prefer over it now. It's outdated and when you think about it, it was Mindless killing that span over like 20 episodes.

Regardless of that, it's still one of the most popular anime's in the world.

BTW, what do you think of my art?

Your better at Bodies than me. Not bad really.

Not sure but I looked at the top 100 anime list in Japan to find that only the original Dragonball made it in the top 100. But it didn't say whether Z or GT was included.

Well, nontheless the anime is cool.

The only thing I don't like about it are two things:

1. Most of the movies and episodes don't match the original timeline.

2. MIRAI TRUNKS DOESN'T SHOW AFTER THE CELL SAGA!!!!! WTF!!!!

He's my fav char, btw. :snoogins:

BTW, did you watch the OVA "How to destroy the Saiya-jins"? it's a two-parter.

Added after 9 hours 30 minutes:

Here's a character of a comic that's still in planning.

Image

Don't mind his feet, they're a bit slim.

Added after 2 minutes:

And this is my version of the Order of the Stick

(I just HATE myself for screwing up Durkan's hammer! )

It's done.

Image

Turned out good enough I'd say. I'm not as frustrated with it as I was with the Hyruo one, at least.
For my own reference, it took less than 1 hour to flat, 1 hour for the super saiyin aura thingy (couldn't resist ^^) and less than 1 hour for the shadows.
About 2,5 hour total, and used some of it on experimenting.

Just one word for that...

Amazing. Trully, trully amazing.

Thank you, Vegedus! You have made my day!

And the aura looks massive. :snoogins:

Hoo hah!

1. She?

2. Well, it was a sketch I've done for about a half an hour, however I don't really care about the straightness.

Maybe I should start caring?

Hey there, Ivan. I was looking through your thread earlier today and all your pics inspired me to draw this. I haven't drawn any DBZ fanart in forever. So, I dedicate it to you, for inspiring me. :)

Hope you enjoy.

See? That's the shading I want to be able to do. Ah, well, everything takes practice.

What do you mean?
What I mean is that there seem to be smudges and the lines are roughly drawn. If you want them coloured to a good standard you could ink it and rub out the pencil.

Oh. well, I don't really have time for that. I agree with you fully, and I know it would look better, but I don't own an inking pen.

Thanks for the tip anyway. ^_^

Keep up the good work. Remember that practice makes perfect, and don't be afraid to eventually create your own style.

This is good advice. Take it slow, too. You don't have to finish a picture all in one sitting. It you only get a face down one day, the torso the next, the arms the next, it'll most certainly look better than if you try to rush through the whole thing.
