Thanks for the advice, folks. I'll be bringing more pieces forward so you can have a look at 'em.

But for now, fanart!

I'VE BEEN DRAWING SQUIRRELS AGAIN *rubs temples*

I was just browsing through the Internet, when I came across this article about Squirrel Girl:

http://www.dave-simons.com/squirrel

...artist Dave Simons did a re-design of Squirrel Girl, and posted several of his designs on his website. I didn't really dig it so much...I mean, there's a lot to be said about her original costume, namely the fact that it blends well with her environment. This re-design seems rather...neon.

Either way, it did inspire me to take another look at Squirrel Girl, because some elements of Dave's design did actually appeal to me. The goggles were a nice touch, and I figured that SG's head seemed a little bare when last I drew her.
I also added one of her 'knuckle spikes' to the drawing, since it's hardly seen these days.

You'll see the full colour version soon.

Hey, folks. Remember me?

Haven't really sloshed around these parts in a while, but I figure that I should pass in and show you guys what I've been up to. I've recently started taking commissions, have a look at a few and some work I did since I've been gone!

Heh, quite a diverse set. Is the first original or inspired by some show?

I think is inspired by the rugrats.
Good work but in when you drag your pen to show movement try to be abit more neat.

Correct. =)

Also, I'll try to keep that advice in mind. My hands tend to shake a bit, though.

So, how long has it been since I've drawn this handsome guy?
Ages, I'll tell you that.
To be honest, New Era Outlaw is one of my least favorite characters to draw sometimes, because of the havoc the black wreaks on my inking pens sometimes. Maybe I should change his black to dark blue or something.

I made a couple of changes to him, but it's minor. His chin's now a bit squarer and his eyebrows are thicker. I don't think I've made it apparent in earlier drawings, but his guns are supposed to be silver and black, one belonging to an old friend of his.

The sketch shows him lunging forward a bit, but in reality, he's actually using his light-based powers to dash by propelling his stored photon energy through outlets in his boots (a shout out to Mega Man X). He can also use the energy to fire photon shots from his weapons (which negates his need for actual ammo, though the kick would be far greater.) He has to be careful in doing this, however, as he draws from his own energy to perform these stunts. If he goes too far, he can actually weaken himself (especially at night, which is why Geargirl created his current suit, which absorbs and traps light.)

I guess it's worth a shot, but art's more my forte, to be honest.

Oh they don't bite much down there.
And i'm not asking you to do anything.
Just lurk to see how we do things and post if you want to.
Also as a side note Azula's lightning should be focused to the direction she is pointing at.
