1 Hey Black, what if the tournament master was one big liar. He really couldn't do that "Increasing" Power stuff. He just said it so that he could trick people into entering the tourney?

2 I think having crowds actually watch the tournaments would be weird. not a bad weird though, it'd be like Yu yu hakuso. All you need now is to throw in a foxy emcee. (of course it should be a she. pffft)

3. I like Idea no.6 ............ not the part where everyone fights an npc though. I just like the whole army/robot part. mebbe for the finale? x3 Last two people have to show in comic their version of kicking that robot's butt and getting everyone who's ass they just beat out of the facility maybe? No? k. XD

Well, idea 1 would mean that forumers would fight themselves and not their OCs. While it is a cool idea, I like the army robot idea better, since that would include OCs fighting. Whta kind of robot should it be? Something like Robo-dude or something more menacing and intimidating?

People fight each other to get to the Reaper. The one who actually beats the Reaper gets immortality from the Reaper (he releases his claim on OC's soul, something like that).

Like they have entered into a death match tournament and reached the finals, where they pummel each other to within an inch of their lives, but then just as the final blow is about to hit, Cupid EXPLODES in and busts some love up in their asses and the arena turns into a sex crazed mad house, with bodily fluids flying everywhere and everyone living happily ever after... cept all the people they killed before.

Yeah, Odin Sphere's story is great. I guess OCTs automatically become somewhat like that, since their stories revolve around different characters at the same point in time.

It's still a fight for some reason, OCs fight normally, as in most OCs, but every contestant has 2 OCs - 1 guy, 1 girl. During the fights with other peoples' OCs, their relationship develops, blah blah blah, they beat the crap out of everyone (if they get to the finals), we have a happy ending, with 2 silouethes kissing with the sun setting/rising in the background (unneccessarily, just 1 suggestion for a possible ending). The 2 OCs can work together or work seperately, 1 saves the other maybe, that kind of thing.
OR we could have different OCs with different stories falling in love each round (I'm guessing this is what you meant?).

Not a chance of that, I'm afraid. 1 - You're in USA, while I'm in Europe. 2 - I don't own a PS2, I just played it at one o' those gamin' places.

I was thinking of the following background story:
The army (of country A) have developed a fighting robot that's supposedly the ultimate fighting machine. Everyone's trying to break into the base (OCs - agents from country B or mercenaries) trying to get the robot. The final round will be the fight between the OCs and the robot itself. Backdrop - military base in the middle of dense tropical forest.
How does that sound?
