Safe Zone moved as close to the window on his side of the booth as he could to make room for the others, ending up directly across from the troll who had just introduced himself as Time Bomb. He checked the length of the seats and decided it would be a bit a of a tight squeeze, but everyone could fit in one booth.
It was relieving to not be angry anymore, and Safe Zone was surprised how quickly he stopped caring about Psycho Lady after Time Bomb took the case from her. That was actually the only thing he cared about, he realized, and the near-drekstorm that had threatened the situation moments ago had been his temper flaring at how nonchalantly she had behaved with the key to their freedom not just from their prison sentences, but from this dangerous mission and their despot of an employer.
He decided to take the opportunity to examine his teammates in case invisibility worked like he suspected and made it impossible to see each other for the duration of the trip.
Well, that's what he decided, but he ended up staring at Time Bomb for the most part, amused by the sight of a grumpy, casually-dressed troll holding such a sleek, business-like suitcase. He diverted his gaze to the quiet, little elf girl who had called herself Spiderling earlier, fixating on her goggles and the prominent scar that ran across her slender neck--a visual reminder of a lifestyle he had no doubt they were all familiar with. They were a team of people broken by the world in one way or another. He wondered if this mission was a blessing or a curse--Surface had mentioned that he would still be on the run whether or not they succeeded, and he, himself, didn't even have a place to go or a goal to achieve past the completion of this job.
He left that train of thought hanging, preferring the present concerns so he could hide from the bleak future.
Safe Zone was one to appreciate effective teammates like Spiderling, though she seemed the type to avoid talking. She hadn't said a word since hacking the Matrix and starting the train, and though he was loathe to interfere with someone else's introspection time, he did want to know what else she could do.
"I don't suppose you have a spell for muting sounds as well, Surface? I don't know the first thing about magic to generate or suppress sound waves."
