Death. It's almost as old as life. Everybody dies eventually. Death is everywhere. Every day there are new germs, toxins, injuries, illnesses and catastrophes for us to face. The fact we survive at all is miraculous.
On the other side of death stand the Reapers. Reapers used to be human, then death came knocking, taking those who died in the most gruesome, bloody or downright horrific manners to their boss, Lou.
Lou: He's the one who rules over the Reapers and Seers. Basically, the God of Death.
Goddess: Lou's sister, the basic Goddess of Life, she guides the Witches and Scryers. She has no one name but is called many by her worshipers. Lou calls her sister while Pandora calls her by her true name, which only the 3 of them know.
Pandora: Goddess of Chaos and Anarchy. She corrupted some angels, creating the Fallen Angels, beginning their descent back to becoming Demons. She also creates her Children to assist Lou in keeping the populace to a manageable level.
God: Pandora's brother, totally ignores the other 3 and teaches the Priests and Pastors. He created the Angels from Demons by turning everything ugly about them into pure beauty and strength. The Angels work alongside his Priests and can only be seen by Pastors, Seers and Scryers when hiding. When Angels are not hiding among the humans, the are completely visible by any supernatural being.
Cosmos: He is unknown among the humans but the other 4 refer to him as their father, the creator or, as Lou suggested once, the blank slate.
The Reapers, Witches a Priests are pretty much the same, just with different styles. The same goes for the Seers, Scryers and Pastors. And Pandora only has her children, nothing like any of the other groups.
Anyways, the playable selection depends on whether the player wants Lou, the wise-ass God of Death, the Goddess, intelligent and merciful, or the God, who sees the beauty in order. Then again, the Witches and Scryers aren't as strong as the Reapers and Seers. Pastors and Priests are stronger than Witches and Scryers but not as strong as Reapers and Seers.
There are 3 types of Reapers, Witches and Priests.
Reapers: There is the melee class, the ranged class and the magick class known as the Sages. The melee and ranged classes of the Reapers are unnamed and only referred to as Reapers.
Witches: the Guards, Gunslingers and Mages make up their ranks.
Priests: They are composed of the Knights, Archers and the Blessed.
Sages and Mages can use 1 of 3 types of Reaper Magick. First, there are Death Sages/Mages. They use really strong spells, most of which take quite a bit of preparation. Then there are Pumpkin Sages/Mages. They use quick, not as strong spells, mostly for distracting or killing minor enemies. Then there's the Light Sages/Mages, healers and buffers, the ones who make their allies stronger. Priests have 3 similar types, Holy Force, Holy Hand and Holy Spirit respectively.
Also, Seers, Scryers and Pastors can create Barriers to protect themselves and see hidden enemies. Not only are they useful, they are necessary for any team.
Pandora's Children: Half-breeds of the Goddess of Chaos and Anarchy, most of them don't live long, usually about 17. Some with awakened powers, usually about 5 or 6 out of 100 each century, live longer but with much more stress on their body when they use their powers. Most with awakened powers die in combat or shortly thereafter. They also work alongside the Reapers but are usually kept as a last resort.
Pendant: The Pendant is similar to a Police Officer's badge. It allows other Reapers, Seers and Witches to see their rank, class and team. Reapers' Cloaks reside inside the Pendant. The Witches have something similar called a Pentacle while the Priests have their Crosses.
Cloak: The Cloak gives Reapers the abilities to become invisible, pass through solid objects and flight. These are not granted until Rank V. Witches have their Robes which allow them to disappear into nature. Priests have Gowns which can turn into white armor, giving them their weapons.
Vessel: Each Reaper died with something in their hands. Some of these items were hollow, able to hold other objects, etc. These became Vessels. Vessels hold souls and allow Reapers to help others to pass to Lou. Witches and Priests don't have anything similar to Vessels.
Each Reaper, Witch and Priest have an Emotional Trigger. This can trigger an increase in strength, speed, agility or any attribute and is triggered by 1 emotion. Usually, they start with 1 effect of the trigger, such as their anger increasing their strength, their sorrow increasing their speed, their joy increasing their agility, and so on.
Lou was the first Reaper, the Grim Reaper. He was doing a great job until humanity spread too wide for him to continue to work alone. Therefore, he began recruiting others to be Reapers. As the ages changed, the cycle of Reapers did as well.
Lou no longer Reaps but watches the Reapers like the owner of a company. They report to him and bring souls for other possible Reapers.
Working alongside the Reapers are Seers, people who can gaze through the veil between the world of the living and the realm of the dead, and Witches, humans who can utilize Reaper abilities with the help of Lou's sister, the Goddess. Both types were visited by Lou because they were stillbirths or infant deaths. Seers lost their physical sight and was granted life and sight into the spiritual realm instead as well as the ability to create weak barriers for short periods of time while Witches grow without a limb or some other physical deformity.
Scryers were born blind but visited by the Goddess and given sight beyond sight.
Reapers, when chosen by Lou, appear in a white room. In the room is a man in a red suit with a black tie, slicked back hair and lively blue eyes. He is Lou.
Enemies the Reaper teams will be facing will include, but is not limited to, Demons, Angels, Rogue Reapers, Corrupt Souls, Fallen Angels and half-breeds of all sorts.
This is going to be an action-adventure-drama RP that will turn out like a cross between RIPD, Dead Like Me and Bleach. I have many ideas for plot but most of the story will be made by the players. I will ONLY play Lou and big enemies.

Personality: Lou is the type of man who makes fun of everyone without making them mad. He's a genius like you've never seen and always knows what to do and when to do it. He also likes to answer questions with a bad or disturbing joke or pun.
