"Begin charging particle gun..." The Geno Saurer opened his mouth. heat and energy particles began to build up inside of it.

"Calculate predicted location for fire..." The computer buzzed and locked onto the area right above the Geno Saurer.

"Deploying footlocks..." Immediately, the 4-meter long footlocks in Alexander's feet dug themselves into the ground.

"Wait for it..." He watched as Poltergeist flew closer and closer. As soon as he was only a few meters from being exactly overhead...

"FIRE!!" Carrey shouted, slamming the ignition button. As soon as he pressed it, a huge beam of charged particles shot from Alexander's mouth and headed straight for the Zabat.

A blonde-haired man entered the arena, followed by a triceratop-type zoid, a Gunblaster. The man had dark skin and a muscular build. An eye-patch covered up his left eye, but did little to conceal the huge scar running diagonally down the length of his face. He climbed into his zoid and buckled himself into the pilot's chair. "I'm here, now. Since you're here, you must be James." He smirked at his opponent as he placed a cigarette between his teeth and lit it.

"Yeah, about that, Mr. Rice..." said one of the mechanics overlooking the repairs. "Your Zabat is in no condition to fight. It's wings have been pulverized, it's leg is still being searched for, and I'm not even going to metion the internal damage. It might take a while for us to get her up and running. Your wolf, however, should be fully repaired in a few hours. We just need to reboot its computers and patch up a few holes. It'll be running smoother than ever in the next fight."

((Now back to Neb))
"Let's..." He thrusted the control wheel forward, causing his his Gun blaster to move slowly forward. As he walked, he started unloading his bullets from the zoid's lower cannons. Six 50mm cannons, two AZ70mm cannons, two AZ 70mm laser repeater cannons, and two 80mm Beam cannons along with a 250mm Mortar cannon started blasting away at the Liger's front legs.

"Damn!" James said as he moved and got out of the way. "Fire the Trinity Impact Cannon!" Slash fired at the legs of the Gunblaster.

Since the Gun Blaster was large, slow, and not ver maneuverable, the legs took the full blast of the Trinity Impact cannons. An entire plate of armor flew off of it's front right leg, exposting the delicate framework and wiring. Koji mumbled a string of curses as he tried to move Madeline out of the way. "Advanced targetting system, get a lock on the trinity cannons on the Liger's chest."
A crossair appeared on the screen and moved to the center of the Slash Liger's chest. "Perfect..." He flipped a few swithes and pulled the weapon triggers on his steeing wheel. the six 50 mm and the two 70mm laser repeaters started to blast away at the cannons while the AZ 60mm cannons and AZ80 mm beam cannons fired at the Liger's front shoulders.

He watched as the Leger charged at him, blades radiating with energy. He studied the "Wait for it...closer...closer..." He began turning around so that his back was facing the Liger. "Wait for it..." The liger was now only meters from slicing Madeline like bread. "Now!" With the press of a button, he flowed all of the reserved shield energy through the Gun Blaster's 24 spikes, creating an omni-directional force shield. It nuetralized most of the effect of the blades, so Madeline only took a medium amount of damage.
"Gotcha.." Whispered Koji as the Liger ran past him. He lowered the shield and started blasting away at the Liger's @$$ with it's 250mm and 150mm Mortar Cannons.
