Hm. There are a few more robots suits than expected. And a super smart guy. Hm.

If I recalled how magic works in Marvel I'd consider a sorcerer, but eh. Might just continue with the suit and hope. Simply cannot think of powers both new and useful.

Magic seems to work however a given writer wants it to work in the MU. You should just roll with sympathetic magic. Cool, versatile, powerful without being overpowered… it’s where the jazz is at.

Also, hory sheet Deena.

Imenak, I just thought I should let you know that I spent the hours between 11pm and 3am gushing to RL people about your previous X game, this new sequel, and all of the fabulously awesome characters I know and love.

(That means, again, uplifting words to everybody involved, 'cause I don't normally gush about games to people who have stated that they absolutely do not want to play in them.)

Hm. Sounds neat, really.
How exactly does that work, again?

Thank yeh kindly, Hana |D. This is my power: the ability to summon the greatest of heroes from the Nether, and make them willingly submit to a game of life or death.

Gahahaha.

Basically, the concept of sympathetic magic is based upon an idea that appears in folklore worldwide – that the associations between objects have a certain measure of power. Examples would be instances in which shamanistic priest-figures have consumed plants or objects that appear like certain body parts in order to enhance the organs in question, or the classic voudoun practice of making ‘voodoo dolls’ with the hair or blood of a person. It also includes the belief that the properties of plants or animals (or other people) can be assimilated by eating/owning parts of the animal’s body or the person’s possessions.

General examples: Crushing a flower associated with fire to generate/quell flame, or scattering its seeds to create a barrier of fire. Putting out a match to induce temporary blindness in someone. Brandishing a sheriff’s badge to create an aura of supernatural authority. Stabbing oneself with a leopard claw to gain its speed and strength. Smashing an incredibly personal, dear item to literally break the owner’s heart.

...You ever watched that movie, I think it was called "sympathetic magic." Mainly woman cast, had one of those girls from "charmed" in it I think.

Hm. Sounds neat, actually. I'd probably spruce it up with a bit more, probably just a general magic user and magician, though probably avoid the flashier stuff. I'm starting to get a character idea.

Also, anyone want a wizard for a partner?

@Deena: if anyone got me it was Couch and sam. Almost short stories there. I was trying to read through most of the CS's in one go.

All this talk of magic makes we want to go play my mage on Dragon Age..

God, still got to finish that.

I think I'll make my plans on location and team-mates once I see if I get accepted or not.

Practical Magic?

Doesn't have any of the Charmed girls in it, but it's mainly a female cast and has magic and a many-syllable word before "magic" in the title.

Dead guy rises from roses...You put the lime in the coconut...His eyes will be two different colors, ride a horse backward, flip pancakes in the air, favorite shape a star. Any of that sound familiar?

Heh heh, I to like to write, and I figured Franklin needed some fleshing out after the last game. Sam has me way beat in terms of length though. History alone is three times what I wrote. Still though I figure it must be a good thing if you're getting short story vibes from what I did write. Of course, correct me if I'm wrong.

XD Jay is full of surprises.
Zath: Behold, Karo: The only woman in existence who can make Fenix shut the fuck up.
Redsnow: That, and, frankly, if Karo doesn't like you that much, your character is probably going to die soon after his acceptance anyway.
Keiran: Bad RPs don't get picked, unmemberable RPs get ignored.
Zelosse: I don't usually laugh at blatant attitude, but when I do. It usually involves Karo.

Well, I assume LotR exists in this universe, and I'm not sure what other cultural relic people would use to refer to it by.

Finished my writing sample, seeing as I had to write one :p

Also edited powers a bit to reflect how and why he's depowered compared to canon. Now I just need to figure out where I'd want Victor to start and subsequently finish my history.

15 hour work days not helping with the finishing of this cs...:(

@Dorian: I was throwing ideas at Nak, and he mentioned that, so I went with it.:D

I just realized that if Penny didn't have the whole aura-that-protects-clothing power, she'd be the go-to fanservice character. You know, because she's invulnerable while her clothes aren't?
