watches and clocks are fine. for simplicity's sake, every day is still 24 hours, and clock faces are still round.

the numbers are a simple tally system that goes by three and six to make sure halves work, at least on clocks, which are not 12 hours, but 24.

The language is technically not English, so the alphabet and number symbols are all different, but we're just going to play this like Avatar: The Last Airbender and have everyone speak think write etc in what is English to us but their language to them.
