   The 6501 k remark refers to the black body temperature scale, wherein the color of the light that an object that gives off a byproduct of heat (incandescent bulbs, the sun, etc) is directly influenced by the temperature of the object. 6500 K is the black body temperature of scattered sunlight.

As for me, I have one pair of Shape ups, one pair of running shoes, one pair of sandals, and one pair of Going Out Heels.

That's not counting shoes that I have specifically for Theater work ('cause they have to be black) or shoes that are meant specifically for coordination with costumes.

My cleaning method is a vinegar-and-water solution spritzed into the shoes. No funk, ever! ^_^

Also, I feel the need to be completely obnoxious and point out that the higher the heel, the easier they are to walk on and more comfortable to wear, up to you get near ballet-heels. En pointe is nice and painful without the proper footgear.
