I think it might be okay for you to have a starship, if it isn't too powerful and is fairly small, like a tiny converted freighter. You know, Millenium Falcon like. Since your character is going to have one hell of a time fitting into the cast, you might as well have a ship, but you might end up loosing it. Oh and no cloak-generator. Maybe you can use it once and then have it break, but it gives your guy an unfair advantage.


I've tweaked my character a bit, he's now called Anubis. No cloaking generater, the ship has no weapons and I've made him a bit more interesting.

Xion, no you can't. You need to change the things in your character profile before being approved. I mentioned them in a few posts earlier.

Added after 56 minutes:

Okay, I've gotten the basic idea for the storyline's setting. It will occur on Elicoor a couple years before the events of SO3. Basically right around the time that Maria becomes leader of Quark and Cliff retires from the position.

Keep in mind that although Star Ocean 2 came a long time before SO3 plotwise, I might just slip a little thing in there that links the plotlines of the two games more closely together.

Look, I made some changes to your profile. If you want to RP in here, please accept them, because honestly they don't take that much out of your character, and make him less like mine. I would like a Listing of the heirarchy of characters please.

Of say, Most Important Characters Politically to Least Important.

Basically, Who would the Different Major Powers want whacked?

Since Rayven is an Assassin basically, This is necessary Information.

Oh yeah, Cascade, since you are running this one, you get to choose who Rayven is working for at the beginning.

Well, Since Rayven will generally need to be interacting with the other players, I would suggest Listed.

A few of the other Characters he would be sent after would be a good thing. But generally we would need somethings small for him to hunt, that runs him across the others, before actually sending him after the group.

None of the characters posted so far have very important positions in political organizations. That's partly why I didn't want people to have a ton of stuff, like battleships and heavily armed space freighters.
Okay, what I think I will do is create a plot situation that seems to cooincidentally bring a lot of characters together, at a specific space station on the edge of Federation space. Let's say Rayven works for a dishonest Federation General who wants the leader of Quark assasinated. (That means Maria, not Cliff.) So he goes to a fringe observing station between Federation and Klausian territorries. Both the Arcturus and the Diplo, Maria's ship, dock at the station. With this situation you could concievably meet up with Ives and anyone else involved with Quark, Shiro, who might be working on a ship there, Nykolia, who might be wandering about looking for jobs, almost anyone. How does that sound?

Oh and Rayven, I know your character is powerful, but remember the pecking order between species. Humans can be enhanced genetically and get stronger on their own, but they're average among species. Maybe your character more than pulls his weight in your other RP, but in SO he could be, with no small effort, punched out by a Klausian, or outmaneuvered by a Velbaysian. The species of human puts your guy at a disadvantage, but not so much as to make it impossible to beat people of different species. Just remember he isn't one of the Ten Wisemen.

You know, I dont HAVE to be hired as an Assassin. Rayven could be there as a bodyguard.

And as for In comparison to other races, Rayven IS very good at what he does. Sure he could get punched out by a Klausian. I'm not saying he can't. The catch there is that....well....they have to...you know...CATCH him to do it.

Dude, I have nothing against furries at all, but that's just HORRID.
And Rayven, Rayven wouldn't be able to out muscle a klausian for sure, his reaction time may possibly be able to catch him into a stalemate, but what Rayven has to rely on most definetly is his magic, swords, and if it can match up, speed.

Added after 2 minutes:

Then again, Klausian reflexs are very renowned. So good infact, they can evade phase guns and many other projectile weaponry. Though I'm sure Rayven's handy work with his swords will help him with that.
