Name: Ives Eodin
Hair: Dark grey, bangs, ponytail in the back.
Height: 6' 8
Likes: Computers, stellar navigation, the occasional martial art, his gun collection.
Dislikes: Work that doesn't pay off somehow, certain types of food, being teased.
Personality: He's a computer and weapons afficionado who likes to collect various antique chemical slugthrowers (bullet weapons) and old phaseguns. As a house person, he's not into exercise, although he knows some martial arts. Thus for a Klausian he is considered very weak, and is freqently needled by his stronger Klausian friends, although he's still way tougher than most humans.
He's weird in that he often gets lost in thought, contrary to the stereotype that Klausians are reckless thugs, but can be counted upon and is considerate of others. Sometimes he gets lazy and doesn't want to be bothered, but he always comes through for his friends. A person who tends to find ridiculous solutions to problems that actually work. He'd be pretty sharp looking if he'd only take off those damn glasses. He lacks charisma and the spirit of a real leader, and has led a soft, easy life so far. Sometimes he wonders how his life would be if he was with the main corps of Quark, where the action is. However, he'd probably be fearful if he was in a serious combat situation.
Home: Klaus II
Political Organizations: Quark
Profession: Anti-Federation activist. He joined because he feared for his personal freedoms, but isn't a very active member besides the occasional humanitarian mission.
Skills: Can do some computer hacking, not the best but pretty good, good at fighting with both his hands and firearms, can navigate and drive a starship, knowledge of gravitic warp/creation energy theory, planetary systems, general science, history and species information. (Pretty knowledgable.)
Hobbies:Using his computer, maintaining a gun collection, on and off martial arts student, hacking, looking for information on the net.
Antique guns: Not many of these work. His weapon of choice is a C-8 Microblaster, a small, light phasegun with low stopping power and high accuracy.
Personal data terminal: A powerful pulse signal allows cyberspace access from anywhere near a communications array. He does some hacking from this computer, but more for amusement than for purpose. Stores his personal information and allows him to browse the network. His favorite passtime, besides playing retro fighting games and hacking aimlessly on the net, is looking for images of Quark's leader, whom he's never met in person.
Universal Translator: Standard issue emergency equipment. When on an undeveloped planet, being able to understand the locals is essential.
His glasses: The most prized posession of course!
Property: Doesn't actually own anything, but the Quark diplomatic vessel "Arcturus" is both his home and the ship he helps navigate.
Technology level: High
Weapon: Guns, (but gun will not be usable on an undeveloped planet.) bare hands.
Arial: Ives's anti-air attack. He does a somersault and knocks the opponent high into the air. Quick and easy to do.
Charge: Ives shoulder-tackle's the opponent and knocks them a short distance away.
Single-Foot Halberd: A technique that Ives improvised due to his martial arts knowledge and playing too many fighting games. He does a somersault similar to the Arial attack, but this time, a razor sharp wave of air is slashed forward in the arc of his foot.
Blind Stomp: Ives leaps at a shallow angle towards the opponent and does two consecutive arial kicks to the head, by turning and stretching one leg out and then rotating the other direction to kick with the other leg. He then rotates in mid air and punches downward with one hand at the enemy, causing an explosion and a burst of air and dirt off the ground. Think of it as a combination of Arial Assault and Hammer of Might. It's very powerful.
Shadowless Step: Ives uses his Klausian reflexes and charges forward, leaving shadow images. He predicts the motion of enemy attacks and dodges physical moves while closing within range. He then ducks forward in front of them and can either uppercut them high into the air or ditch behind them and do a powerful straight kick to their back. It's all improvised.
Human Torture Rack: If you've played Star Ocean 2, and I'm hoping you have, you've seen the precursor to this move. (If you were smart enough to recruit Bowman.) It's similar to the Pillory attack in that he jumps high and lands on the enemy's head. But when Ives flips and lands on the enemy's head with his hands around its neck, he twists and turns like Bowman, but then flips off of it and throws it over his shoulders. This only works on humanoid enemies.
Codebreaker: Ives rushes forward and throws a powerful, leaning straight punch to the enemy's midsection, causing them to be stunned. When it hits them, a pink energy strike is seen like they were slashed through. Very hard to defend against.
Revolving Sobat: Ives does a spinning, mid air kick similar to Cliff's long range Strong attack, except faster and weaker. Then, after hitting them with this move, he does a pair of low level spinning kicks where he sweeps his foot to the side and turns over, sweeping his other foot to the side while gliding forward. (Looks kind of like Muro's special move from Oni.)
Crimson Kicks: Ives's version of Fists of Fury and his strongest attack. (He's not good enough to do something like Infinity Kicks.) Ives ducks forward and sways, then does a series of rapid fire kicks in quick succession, then does a high angle kick that launches the enemy away. He hits them with a pair of high angle roundhouse kicks as they fly away, leaving a red trail behind.
Protection: Ives casts a Symbological charm that alters space around the target to provide greater defense against incoming projectiles for a short duration of time.
Reflection: Ives casts a Symbological charm that helps protect somewhat against enemy symbols for a short duration of time.Added after 44 seconds:

Okay. That will work.
