if we're keeping the mentality to that of a Zombie apocalypse then we all know that, yes most of use haven't seen a person die, but unless you want A LOT of mental breakdowns then you'll be better off thinking 'they' aren't human anymore

Let's just put it this way. whatever character type you choose, it doesn't really matter what any one of us thinks. It's all what Fenix thinks of that character and your skill that matters. You might be stripped of the Deagle, Im not sure though. just based on his comment about us not finding any illegal firearms any time soon.

@livix: what about the people the zombies tear limb from limb. Such as your family or friends. I think that is more what he was getting at. Honestly if anyone I cared about was killed in front of me I would freak and then be paralyzed in horror and fear or charge at the enemy in a rage, screaming incoherently and probably die myself for my stupidity.

So I take it that you'd be fine with smashing in the skull of something that looks a hell of a lot like a human, and the guy from across the street.

Basically, unless you've brutally killed like a dozen rabid dogs, each of whom you've known in some fashion, I doubt you can even begin to compare other things with a zombie outbreak.

Only reason I gave myself a fear rating of 8 was because of insanity. If put to it, the mind can imagine far worse than what could ever be possible in reality, in other words, "This shit is nothing compared to what I see when I close my eyes.", plus, it sort of goes away when other people are with him, then the things in his mind become real to him, and I assume most of this will be in groups, not solo. The Deagle really wasn't a big deal, I didn't plan on using it unless completely necessary, anyways.

I understand your arguments, but since I don't want to delve even further into my personal life then I already have

1. admittedly it would be hard to see a person ripped apart, like nightmares for weeks kind of stuff)
2. my friends are safe for the most part ... 'nuff said, not sure about my family but I can at least hope my brothers listen to me in that type of situation in which case we might all survive
3. and I've never taken the time to know my neighbors at all
