Mile upon mile of barbed wire borders the seemingly empty complex. The ground was dusty and razor wire littered the tops of the chain link fences. A maze of thin corridors between the main gate in wrought iron above the heavily guarded entrance were the words “Forget your past, you do not exist”. Guard towers littered the complex. In the center of the area was a tall structure made of concrete, this super secret place did not have a name designed to house prisoners of unimaginable power by the general public. Each in a cage, a cell specially tuned so each one could not escape, some were captured after causing semi-cataclysmic events, others their only crime was that they exist. Now collectively erased from the public’s memory they live in solitary confinement with no communication to each other. The prisoners silently plot dreaming of escape


But our story begins before the current regime took power it begins 500 years earlier. The world was made up of segmented nations with their own seperate lifestyles and ideas. The world was at complete peace on a global scale there was no war and countries cooperated freely due to the stalemate that existed between all the standing armies. The armies wre enforced by special individuals known only as Vipers. Secret and powerful, they were gifted in a special way and they were the power of the world, if your country did not have a Viper or more your country was crushed, each individual country tried to manufacture Vipers through special schools or studies and had little success through some means unknown a Viper would appear each unique and different in its own way, only one constant similarity a single Viper could be described on the scale of Natural Diasters in terms of power only matched by another one of its kind. Out of nowhere one night a man only known as "Father" appeared. Gathering followers in his pursuit of an ideal society where no one had to live in fear or their home being destroyed by some strange being. Father seemed to have some power that made the Vipers powerless before him, that fact along with his armies swiftly controlled the entire planet. Immediatly technological advances on a large scale, cameras computers all originally supposedly to increase the standard of living of the planets inhabitants. Soon that changed, spying was rampant and the W3S (World Security and Survelliance System) was established. Now as soon as words came out of ones mouth, words became written on paper, actions weree made, if one struck their significant other the government knew. Father now knew everything. The only places the W3S does not reach are some very remote towns and areas of the world as well as underground. Everything was watched as best as the government could rebellions quelled before they even began the mere mention of rebellion and distrust of Father was punishment for death. Ruthlessly ruling the world in an effort to create a utopian society, well that was the vision Father's end result was one of neighbor spying on neighbor hoping whatever information could be given would help them and clear them of suspiscion. The one constant law has been that any knowledge of a Viper must be reported immediatly under pain of death. Time has long since passed and Father has become the name of the ruler of the world, controlling everything. Since nothing can stand in the way of ordinary military might especially with the uses of the W3S (World Security and Survelliance System) any form of resistance has been crushed. Viper sightings are no longer common and each incident of a Viper attack is carefully hidden and covered up by the Government being explained through other means, often using mass mind wipes or supplying narcotics to individuals for them to sink deep into oblivion forgetting all about it. The power to make a Viper's power useless vanished with the first Father and the government only has the power to capture Viper's at the cost of many lives and millions of dollars of expenses. The effort to hide all of the Vipers has one purpose, because due to the W3S a Viper is the only thing that poses a threat to the dictatorship of Government.

Roughly 20 years ago a individual who was a rising in the government who had a very bright future, althoug personally this person did not believe with what the Father was doing and wished to become Father in order to change everything. She found a file she was no supposed to have found detailing the camp that imprisoned the found Vipers. She had heard rumors as a small child of fearsome men who could strike down a town in an instant but she and everyone else thought they were legend. She took the file and ran to a far corner of the world and began to slowly and carefully gather followers. Her goal was to overthrow the Father and establish a government based not on fear but based on the want of a common good through non totalitarian means. That was her long term goal, the first step in the path to achieving this was freeing and recruiting the Vipers and bringing them back into society. Through means known only to her she obtained more and more information that she would have been killed if the government even suspected that they knew. She had Discovered the true history and the thought that being Viper was a random occurence on the planet. She knew she had enough to cause the thoughts of rebellion especially if she had the Vipers on her side. Now how to free them?

Even She does not know but there are 3 Government Vipers, recruited and turned to aid the government. Each has been imprisoned for at least 5 years before being recruited. These are the ultimate insurance policy in the Viper Consipiracy. One Government Viper has the power of probably 3 average Vipers. In case of a viper escape their only chance is to work together, if somehow a viper got out of a cell, the complex exists to prevent its escape for a Government Viper to show up to either neutralize the threat or recapture it.

The Viper Consipiracy is in place to keep Father in power whoever he may be. With knowledge of vipers actually existing the people of the world could mount an effective resistance to Father and his government. By ruling through fear Father can control the masses and prevent them from organizing all while living a life of luxury and relaxation as some of the worlds members live scrounging for a crust of bread. By revealing the Viper Conspiracy the hope is that She can gain enough support to overthrow Father and establish a new regime.

Appearance: She has never been seen without a hooded mages robe and what is beneath it no one knows. Beyond a few whisps of water blue hair nothing has been seen.
Personality: She is very mysterious and keeps to herself. Her firm belief is that you never show all your cards unless you have to. Keeper and leader of the Viper movement. She seems to know the right places to strike and the places to hide.
Powers: Nothing is known about She's powers, she is exceptional at gathering information. She has some power that is for certain for she can stand up to a feisty Viper without fright.
Background: All that is known about She is that she was a rising government official over 20 years ago and since then has formulated the entire Viper Rebellion and possess the knowledge of the Viper Conspiracy.

Viper CS:
Name: Aidan Shanks
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Longish Brown hair with the lightest tint of red when in the light, His eyes are a dark green and his face is Handsome and calm at most times. He wears Black clothing mostly, while in the camp/cell rags like most others (that's right, right?). He is about 5'11" with a medium build, skinny yet not too skinny and muscular and toned but not a body builder, and is forced to constantly wear Gloves so his power can't be expressed fully (the gloves restrict his power throughout his entire body to only about ½ of what it could be, and he can't remove them without a key card)

Personality: Aidan is the type to not back down but never start anything without proper reason. He is calm at most times in the day and he dreams of being free from this hell hole. He is a nice enough guy but is innocent in some ways and so he may say something truthful yet not appropriate for the situation. His power scares him slightly and although sometimes it's a blessing, he curses it for ending him up in prison for simply being born that way. He is in a reinforced cell like most others that is attuned for his specific ability so most thoughts of escape have left his mind, especially with the special gloves on.

Powers: Aidan's power could be considered “pressure bursts” these bursts can come from any part of his body, although normally they're from his hands. The power of these bursts can be measured in how much weight he can move with it, so far his max is about 16,000 pounds (this will change as the story goes on), meaning he can exert equal to or less then 16,000 pounds of force at one time without being thrown by his own blast.

The way his power grows is 1. without training each year when he turns a year older he gains 1,000 pounds behind his blasts (and he gets it all at once not gradually, so the second he turns a year older he gets that extra force) and 2. he's never trained before so he wouldn't know how much he could possibly gain from it (i'd say he gains another 500 pounds with each session) if things work out the way I imagine. Sessions: 1 hour of using his maximum power to move things and he does it once a day, so 500 lbs a day (if he works out that day) is added to his output force

Current Output force: 16,000 lbs


Background and Motivations: Aidan's beginnings were sound and peaceful. He lived in a mostly rural area where it wasn't uncommon to be a farm hand or live in the forest. A town where most people knew the reward of a hard days work, but one day due to a collapsed wall in Aidan's elementary school he and several others were trapped behind several feet of concrete. Under the situation Aidan (age: 5) became incredibly scared and as he banged against the wall that trapped him and the others, his powers rose to the surface and he blasted the collapsed wall out of place and freed everyone. At the time Aidan's parents thought he would be safe because he had used his power to save many people's children, they were wrong. Almost immediately the next day a government Viper came to take Aidan away, and because of the rise of a Viper in that area the government started to monitor his home town for further hidden Viper activity. Since that day and power testing (to measure what he could do and reinforce his cell accordingly) he's been locked up for 11 years

Ever since he was taken and locked up Aidan's motivations for escaping are he wishes from the bottom of his heart to see his family again and apologize for the trouble he put them through all those years ago, beyond that he would also like to find and kill the Viper that ruined his life and the man that controlled that Viper

Equipment: Several knives he can conceal on his person (for combat that can't be handled by his Judo), a box of match books (for fire on his travels), a tazer (cause he might run into a person he can't handle), and a pair of gloves with the same basic design as the ones he is forced to wear but no effect (he liked the gloves but not the effect)

Viper CS:

Name: Iren Wright

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Appearance: A petite young woman, Iren stands at an adorable 5”5’, with bright multi-layered red-orange hair that’s almost always styled into a tall faux-hawk looking thing. When it’s not styled, it’s straight and short, reaching no longer than the nape of her neck, and it usually smells like freesia, and her body wash normally is a sandalwood-scented one although she sometimes switches to something more girly like peach. Her pale skin has a light sprinkling of freckles over the bridge of her nose and cheeks, and a few scars over her stomach, collarbone (from where she broke it during a fall during her childhood), a large white scar that looks like a sword or something similar slashed into the skin, and a few misc. puncture wounds all over. She has light grey eyes that are a barest shade darker than white, and long dark red eyelashes and eyebrows with a high arch, as if to attest to her ‘fiery temper’.

She normally wears one ring on her middle finger on her left hand, a necklace with some sort of jade in the pendant, and she has a multitude of piercings. First of all, is her stomach piercing. She doesn’t have anything dangling, just a simple bar with a neon ball on the end. Her ears are littered with different piercings: you have the cartilage on the right, an industrial on the left, three lobe piercings on the left ear and two on the right, and a tragus piercing on the right as well. She also has her tongue pierced. (I gave you guys a chart for your convenience.)
She also tends to pain her finger and toenails, the color varying depending on her mood or whim when she painted them. More often than not she paints them black. She doesn’t have any tattoos yet, but she’s thinking up a design for her ankle.

As for clothing, she would normally be wearing black leggings with misc. holes in it that reaches down to right below her knees. On top of that, she’s seen wearing jean shorts that barely cover her butt, and a black tank. When it’s colder out, she’ll swap the leggings and shorts for a pair of black skinny jeans and a tight patterned long-sleeved shirt with holes in the sleeve for her thumbs. When there’s snow outside, she wears a thick black hoodie that zippers up and has a pattern of white and grey birds in flight over the right breast and pockets. As for shoes, she wears sleek running shoes, also black, and knee braces when she actually does any running.

Personality: Just as her bright red hair symbolizes passion, her lascivious nature is not very well hidden. If she sees a man that’s attractive, she will hit on him almost relentlessly. She’s never been in love, so she figures; why not try to find it…actively? On the flip side, she hides her true emotions, fears and feelings behind the façade of a woman who lived for pleasure. She secretly is still a romantic, and despite years of trying to get out of the habit, she often gets very lonely despite herself.

When it comes to friends and loyalty: she’s almost second to none. She would never betray a friend, and would put herself in many uncomfortable positions and would take bullets for other people without hesitating. If she could help somebody, she will.

She’s really into music, particularly rock, music she can dance to, anything really. She also really appreciated a good meal and makeup.

Powers: She’s able use the energy that resides in her body to heal or kill, and it's strong enough to cut through stone. (Think about Sakura's medic chakra from Naruto. She does this through contact to either skin or object and extreme concentration.) This energy can be replaced after a time naturally, or sped up with certain foods. She’s still learning how to completely master her ability, but has a good enough grasp on it to be able to heal an injury that would be fatal if unattended to. (This energy, coupled with her extensive knowledge of the human body, makes an interesting combination because it could be used as both a weapon or a healing agent.) She can extend the energy through her hand and up to six inches away from the tip of her middle finger and as wide as her hand.

Background and Motivations: Before cell, she had lived a normal life: a young woman out of college, looking to start a career in the medical area. Living with her parents till her student loans were paid off, she worked at the nearest hospital part-time, and helped her parents around and studied in her free time.

When she was 21, her father asked her to meet up with him to her help when he was re-building the beat up garage that was in the backyard. Agreeing to this, she stopped by the back of the house during the afternoon, and saw that the garage had collapsed. Sadly, her father was underneath the support beam, and one of his ribs had punctured his lung. Upon seeing her father in this state, she panicked and pressed her hands to her father’s chest. A light emanated from her hands when she did this, and she stared in wonder as her energy went right to the source of the problem with the aid of her own medical knowledge nudging it in the right direction. Her father survived, and was taken to the hospital, where the physicians gave him a check-up to see if he really was healed.

The physicians contacted the government after she had left, without her knowledge, and they sent some of their armed forces to guard her father in the hospital and prevent him from escaping. The next time Iren went to visit her father in the hospital, the government’s forces arrested her, using her father’s health as blackmail for her to follow them without any trouble.
She was kept prisoner and when they found out that she had little to no attacking ability (at first), they began a series of tests to see how much damage she could receive and still heal herself of. It quickly became a torture routine that she got used to. For 5 years, she was tested on until the scientists got the gist of what was giving her these healing powers. Then, they only visited her for periodical check ups to make sure that her abilities weren’t getting weaker because of disuse. It was then, that she discovered that her ability could not only heal, but kill as well. She hid her new-found knowledge from the scientists, in hopes of using them to escape in the near future.

Obviously she wants to escape, but most importantly, she wants to help save the others that she knows are enslaved by the government, and also find out what really happened to her parents. (She was told that they were dead).

Equipment: Equipment: Knee braces (2), A few scalpel and other surgeon’s tools. She'd also appreciate some makeup. (She'd count that as equipment.)

Name: Jeff Goldman

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Appearance: Jeff stand's at the average 5'10" with pure white hair, almost silver really, with a body built for speed and reflexes that despite his imprisonment has not changed in nearly 10 year's. He wear's a black 3 piece suit with a deep blue tie with a golden clip to keep it from moving a lot. His suit is uncommonly durable due to his power so it act's more like armor then anything. His shoe's are very dressy. Black leather with solid rubber bottom's, no lace with a soft blue padding inside. White sock's.
His suit is black with thin white stripe's and a pocket over the right chest, nothing is in the pocket. His skin is incredibly pale which makes his hair seem lighter in comparison but his eye's are a shade of blue so light it look's like the very skies above.

Personality: Quick to anger and incredibly full of himself, Jeff has thought of himself as some sort of god and the only reason he was incarcerated was he had not fully attained his power, a cheap trick played by his brother's and sister's jealous of his gift. When he is at full attention he will be incredibly quiet and rather devious, his power's nature gives him an edge over most opponent's, viper or non, so he make's sure to use it to the fullest and without hesitation. The world would crumble and he would not care, as long as he had his freedom to live his life without pain.

Powers: Jeff was gifted with the power over ice and water, freely capable of melting or hardening it. Creating it from the molecules in the air and deep underground he can summon a flash flood in mere seconds then freeze it over to create a new ice age.
He has been known to use the ice and water to create copies of himself, making the water catch the light in a very specific way that it even seems to have color, or making it explode to barrage the area with piercing ice shard's.

There is a wide range of thing's he can do with such a power, including his unique body. On command he can turn to water or become hard as ice, even shaping his own hand's into weapon's.

Background and Motivations: Jeff was drugged when he entered the lake and has resented this ever since, but the government knew he was powerful due to this affinity so instead a deal was cut, work for them and in 20 years he is free to go and do as he pleases since they only discovered him by a fluke, he feels the powers he has are far too unstable and chose not to use them until that day. Now he will fight with everything he has to assure his peace and quiet.

Equipment: Jeff uses special fabric for his clothing that makes it incredibly durable but very flexible at the same time, with an additional coating of this on the suits coat.

Name: Louis 'Lou' Fernandez, also known as Viper Shade
Age: 30
Gender: Male

Appearance:

Lou has brownish hair and ink black eyes, creepy upon closer observation, all set upon a handsome strong face. Lou stands at exactly 6ft with an average build. He is always seen in a black and white pinstripe suit along with a red tie and a pair of black pants to match. He also has on a pair of black leather gloves and wears a pair of black steel-toed boots. A black fedora with a red stripe sits on his head. Most of the time, you'll either see Lou smoking a cigarette or checking the time on his silver plated pocket-watch.

Personality:
"Ohhh, so everyone's all hoity-toity now eh? One word, people. Bull. Shit. Well, whaddaya know, that was two words"

Arrogant, self-righteous, hypocritical and reckless to boot. Lou is your typical Grade A bastard. When it comes to socializing, the man tends to swear here and there like it was natural. His sarcastic comments tend to set the patience of others onto the edge and his habit of ignoring orders makes a final tip for the perfect avalanche.

Some may think that deep down inside the man lies a caring and understanding person but it is quite the opposite. Sure, he can listen to your problems without snapping and sure, he'll hand you a bandage for a boo-boo but to think that he'll do everything according to your plans is downright crazy.

Lou also seems to have this tendency of shooting off his Thompson submachinegun at anything he considers a target, ranging from beer bottles to that pesky little fly buzzing annoyingly around your face.

Powers:
"Ya wanna know what it's like in a black hole? C'mon, say yes. I fuckin' dare ya, go ahead already"

Darkness Incarnate
Despite how it looks like, Lou does not manipulate the shadows. He is shadow itself, darkness incarnate. Lou is able to create, use and destroy as much darkness as he wishes to do so. The powers within him are almost unimaginable. He is able to create darkness, resembling a black liquid which quickly spreads wherever he touches. Manipulate it and any other sort of darkness such as shadows and shades as he pleases. Destroy them as if they were nothing.

There are many ways Lou uses his powers as there are almost no limitations as to what he can do. Ranging from creating weapons, teleporting through shadows, storing weapons in his shadow and even turning him himself into darkness itself.

Background and Motivations: Lou was born, raised and recruited by a small group of Mafia members, his 'family' so to speak. Throughout the years of growing up, he got better at what he did everyday as he constantly robbed more banks and punched more people in the face. One day however, he got shot in a robbery. He had managed to run away with his partners but was slowly fading away from life as they drove away at high speeds.

When they finally lost the cops, Lou was already having trouble seeing things and his breathing had turned into short rasps. Before he died, he raised his hands as if trying to grab onto the world and stop himself from slipping. A large cape of blackness soon surrounded him but it was unlike the type of death that Lu had seen on TV shows with a path of light shining or something. Walking around the darkness, a eerie voice suddenly called out, it said, "He who looks in darkness long enough finds a glimmer of light". Lou's breathing suddenly stopped and he wrestled with himself as his oxygen intake was ceased. Just as he was about to slip away from life all over again, he gave up and lied down on the floor, slowly dying due to lack of oxygen.

Suddenly, the darkness around him seemed to swirled into his body like a vortex and he was back in the real world again, alive. But no one around him could rejoice for his revival. All around him, his partners laid on the ground, innards spilling out and blood covering their mutilated faces. Taking the car, Lou ran away, afraid of knowing what really happened to his partners. What if this happened to his parents and friends too? He couldn't bare the thought and kept on driving and driving and driving.

Equipment:

Modified Thompson M1928A1
"And I was like bustin' in and went all ratatatatatata at them bastards! Ha!"
Also known as the 'Tommy Gun", it is Lou's most favoured and also signature weapon. The gun has been replaced with newer parts made of metals which are much lighter, durable and effective for combat. Most of the time, Lou uses a 50-round drum magazine for it but will probably switch to the more commonly used 25-round magazines for less recoil and smaller spaces. A detachable pistol grip is at the front and a small switch near the pistol grip is used to turn on a small laser which comes out of a small device installed inside the gun.

Homemade Double-barreled Lupara
"Bam! Haha! Look at those bastards runnin' away!"
Ah, the Lupara. All Cosa Nostra historical fans would know about this great weapon. Lou's Lupara was given to him on his first real deal robbery at a bank. The Lupara is used by Lou for closer quarters and to take down large numbers more quickly in one shot. Nothing much stands out about the gun other than the fact that it's grip has been changed to a material of silver and has beautiful carvings on it, probably something related to the Sicilian Mafia.

Winchester Model 1873 Rifle
"Sometimes I think the best remedy for an asshole is a pop to the head...and maybe a few more afterward. He he."
Of all the weapons that Lou uses, this lever-action rapid-fire Winchester Rifle is probably his most modern and long-ranged. An open reflex sight is seen on top and it can also be detached to be changed with an optical zooming scope. A compartment below allows Lout to either put in a bayonet or a laser.

Lucky Hit - Image
"And it's going, it's going and it's fucking gone! Haha!"
Lucky Hit is Lou's only real melee weapon, a aluminum baseball bat. Having been made of metal, the sports equipment provides good hitting and bashing for the heads of enemies. Wahoo.

Shadow Weapons
Shadow Weapons are self-explanatory. Their weapons ranging from blades and claws to large spears and cleavers, all created by solidifying darkness. And who knew that darkness had such a hard hit to it?

Extra Stuff:
Signature Attacks
Occasionally, Lou dishes out one of his 'special' signature attacks ,with a follow-up quote, which when taken into consideration, can hurt a lot.

Darker Than Black
"Purge the fuckin' light and let loose the darkness!"
Lou produces darkness at a frightening rate and shapes them into tentacles, which then throw themselves at the enemy, capturing them in total darkness.

Black Barrage
"Catch this!"
Lou uses darkness to form a large ball of darkness which later gets struck with immense strength by Lucky Hit. Causing it to fly towards it's target. The darkness disperses at the last second, turning into a bunch of arrows.

Farewell from Cosa Nostra
"Farewell from Cosa Nostra, you fuckers"
Lou throws his hat over his target, turning it into a large coat of darkness in midair and wrapping itself around the target. After the enemy is rendered immobile, Lou fires off a whole drum of bullets into the enemy.

Path of the Sicilian
"Time to walk the fuckin' path of a Sicillian, you bastard"
A combo attack intended to take out several enemies in a line. Lou empowers Lucky Hit with a large amount of darkness then strikes it at the ground, releasing a small shockwave which sends enemies flying high into the air. After that, he proceeds to unload the Lupara as fast as he can, then proceeding with a whole magazine from his Thompson Submachinegun.

Hm, is anyone planning on making any of the government-controlled vipers so far? I may have an idea for it, but I'm not sure if others have it covered or not yet.

Government Vipers there will be 3 if enrollment gets to be as high as they are...anyone can apply to be one. However if you do not get one of those slots you have 2 options 1 is to make any edits I require to your cs and keep the same character or 2 is to submit another character...at this moment please keep to submitting only one character.

Really good Akaine...just one thing. How does this energy transfer work in something. A slight change I would advise is contact with the object rather than skin to skin. For example if you touched a shirt the energy transfer would be to the shirt rather than the person, but that still has an effect, what effect I am not certain and thats the other thing I am asking.

Alrighty, well it's based off of chakra (naruto or other), except it's more of a "I can heal" or "I can use this to invade your body and hurt you"

And will do, about the contact with objects.

What I am trying to understand is what happens in the "I invade your body and hurt you portion" So how does this harm...

Well, let's say she uses her energy to cut the main artery in the leg, or give a lobotomy. (I'm giving an extreme example with the lobotomy here). It's like she can form her energy into a knife (weapon), or it can heal.

That works...have it extend say 6 inches from the tip of her middle finger as wide as her hand. Say able to cut through stone
