Up to you. I prefer when characters have reasons for returning to locations and such, so it's best left to your discretion. Sure, your guy showing up would make it easier for Gabe to investigate. But I don't see how it'd make much sense for your guy to come back.

Subject217 has always been inside the Eden Research Centre, always confined to a holding cell to make use of the void energy that is constantly being produced by his body. For now they aren't aware of this fact meaning that they can be tracked rather easily.

At this time, he is still a living battery, with no way of knowing they are releasing such energy he leaves a trail of energy and 'corruption' where he walks.

Ah. Well, if your character isn't keeping that in check, then it certainly makes things easier. I'd expected some precaution had been made to keep leakage from occuring.

At the moment... not really, one of his flesh hooks were torn out during the escape and he's bleeding now. The Conduit has yet to realize that Subject 217 doesn't actually bleed blood... Or at least normal blood...
