~Pyremius Gerra - Aboard the Ardent Sun~

Following Sol up the ramp after Damien, he curiously watched the strange creature, which Sol introduced as MontBlanc, with interest. Sol didn't finish his sentence, but he could already guess he was meaning the pompom seeing as how Sol looked at it for a moment.

It was pretty obvious Montblanc was irritated, so he took up on Sol motioning him to move on without much hesitation. Sol told to not mind Montblanc's irritableness, and mentioned 'Moogles'. "Well, I honestly wouldn't know, it's the first time I have seen a Moogle up close." and nodded with a "Thank you." when Sol pointed where his room was.

Entering the bridge, Pyre was a little thrown off by the chorus of "Aye's", but bowed to the crew when everyone was being introduced. Seeing Sol turn to two crewmembers that he hadn't introduced yet, he started listening with quite some interest. A few sentences in the 'conversation' however, he realized it had already become a 'shifting the blame competition', and noticing Sol's reaction, he knew he wasn't the only one thinking that.

Taking a step out of the way so Vesper could pass more easily, Sol had asked if he'd ever been on a ship before. Pyre nervously answered: "Well, I have sailed a few times with my father, but that is already quite some time ago, and it doesn't even compare to this ship..."

~Between Worlds~

Quickly sitting down and fastening his seatbelt after Sol's warning, he looked at Shao's screen and then outside, seeing the front of a huge, dark ship, with wave after wave of heartless coming from it. Listening to the rapid conversation between the crew and their captain, followed by a shock and Sol yelling to grab something, he grabbed onto the chair he was on while bracing for impact.

Waking up after the crash, with his vision blurry for a few moments, he snapped off his seatbelt and fell out of his chair, right onto the floor. After his vision settled, he looked at Damien to see if he was alright, after which he looked around to see most of the crew already left their chairs. He got up, and stumbled a bit before running out of the bridge to find the crew treating a heavily wounded Silva.

~ Deserted Island~

After helping with starting a fire, he went over to Damien, and sat down on a toppled tree near him while asking "How're you holding up?".

Sol then walked over, and gave a situation and damage report, also saying he thought they were at the right world. "Well, if we're on the right world, we won't leave until Damien, if I remember Merlin's worlds correctly, sealed the world's heart, right? So at least we won't have to face that horde up there for now..."

He then looked around and said: "I'm going to give them a hand, if you don't mind." as he gave a nod to the crewmembers tasked with making a shelter while getting up.

-Another World-

The man grunted in pain as his body struck the cold stone wall before falling to the ground. A lesser man might have died from the blow. Truth be told, death would have been a welcome escape from the pain surging though his body; within the last ten minutes he'd managed to get shocked, crushed, stabbed and slammed against several objects, the latter had occurred one to many times for his taste. Possibly the only thing keeping him awake the burning hatred he felt for his attacker. Sadly, that hate did little for his battered body.

"You came all this way, just to be defeated? How marvelous." taunted his attacker; each word she spoke made him want to rip off her throat. He managed to turn his face towards her, meeting her gaze. The pleasure she must have been feeling was obvious, and only served to infuriate him further. He took a deep breath in hopes of torching her, bad all he managed to do was cough up some blood.

"Now I shall be on my way. Feel free to die here. The room has been sealed off and the castle will crumble in just a few moments." she said in a passing tone of voice as she opened a gate way through the shadows. The last blow must have rattled his brain, for he had forgotten about the state of the castle. He barely managed to through one last insult to her before she step through the gate.

He laid there alone in a daze; he could hear the rumble of the castle as it fell a part. He let out a hearty laugh which was caught short by another bought of coughing. He laughed at his own impotence; he knew there was no way he'd be able to run out of the castle before it collapsed, and it was the middle of the day so the fang was useless. It seemed like he had finally reached the end. To think that the child of one of the most powerful guardian in his land would day like a cellar mouth beneath the crumbling base of his own worst enemy. He found it poetic in an odd way.

It was then that he spotted something of the corner of his eye, the gate was still open. He knew not why or how, nor did he care. It was probably a trap set by her, but for what purpose? He had not the time to bother with this. His body felt like led and his limbs screamed in protest, but he'd be dammed before he'd let this last chance slip by. He gathered as much of his strength as he could and lifted himself up through sheer force of will and made his way to the gate way, using pieces of the rubble from his battle as support. There was a great quake in the room as the ceiling began caving; he managed to dive for the gate before it crushed him.

The darkness made him uneasy, with his entrance blocked by a rubble he had no choice but to go forward. Our at least his thought he was, it was difficult to tell and his blood loss wasn't helping his concentration. Eventually he spotted a ray of light piercing through the darkness and hobbled to it as quickly as he could given his state and the gateway closed shortly after.

-Hill-

The light blinded him for a few moments, but he knew he was safe, or maybe that was the concussion talking. He could feel the grass beneath his feet and the fresh breeze was a welcome reprieve from the stagnant air within the castle and the choking winds within the darkness. For, but a moment he thought he had somehow managed to return to his home world. He collapsed on the ground feeling all his strength leave him as his wounds made themselves known again.

For a moment he believed that he had managed to return to his home world; at least until the queerest looking horse he'd ever seen came up to him and started liking his hair. In any other occasion he might've had the beast for lunch, but right now it just wasn't worth the trouble. So, he laid their taking in the sun deciding that he'd rest for a bit, just a little bit, before finding out where he was. Assuming the beast ever stopped liking him.

Alucard looked around the Rain forest. It was a marvelous world, its beauty matched only by its wonder. Never had Alucard come to such a place. He wanted to continue to stare at this wonderful place, but was interrupted by a loud rumble. The animals scurried, and trees began to collapse, as a hoard of giant, ant-like heartless began their way towards the pair. Everything in their path disappeared. Alucard drew his scythe, prepared to fight. The ants were coming fast. Alucard looked towards Lern, then looked back at the heartless. His hatred for them was burning fiercely, but he knew that just the two of them stood no chance against them in this forest. They would need a more open area to move, maybe to scatter the heartless, make them easier to pick off. “Lern, I suggest that we make an escape, maybe lead the heartless to a more desirable location to fight.”

It was a shame there wasn't more time to attempt to understand this world they'd arrived in. From what Lern could tell either they'd been shrunk or the world was giant, either way the forest scenery would have been relaxing if not for the thunderous approach of heartless. Lern was already preparing a spell when Alucard suggested they flee, his arms swirling about in front of him. The final motion was to pull his hands back in next to him and in the distance shards of ice embedded themselves in the path of the heartless, angled to spear the creatures as they approached.

"That might slow them down, but let's get out of here. Just focus on getting away for now, we'll deal with the heartless as we have time. Perhaps going up would be the best choice?" He said point as he to a hardened vine wrapped around the nearest tree trunk. Though it was apparent he was merely suggesting it as he ran in that direction, climbing up the tree trunk a short distance to get to what would be a path upwards.

Damien followed along behind the ship captain and getting an introduction to... Monteblanc... sure he’d seen a few weird things in the time he’d been here so far but this one was just so... fluffy... he nearly missed the warning about not touching that bobbing red ball but just about realised that would be rude. Still even when they went in it seemed there had been some kind of ship squabble and two of the crew were injured, that was deeply disturbing considering that Sol now planned to sail on with his team incapacitated a bit...

“Oh yeah, my dad’s a fisher and well, you can hardly go to any place where I came from unless you do it by boat.”

Although he had been on ships most his life... none of them were anything like this, the lights and sounds and metal all hunkering around them. Seriously how was metal meant to float!? It seemed like a crazy idea really but supposedly they had come in on it so it should get them out too... still there wasn’t much the boy could do here considering the vast difference in technology from what he knew to what this was. So he just decided to stay up on the bridge watching Sol pilot and trying to work out how this strange construction worked.

Damien was stunned by the sheer immense monstrosity floating outside, he’d only ever seen one ship like it in his life time and that had only been passing by... unfortunately these seemed to have other plans as the swarms of attacking beasts came in terrible assaulting waves, still he could not do a thing from within the ship and he could hardly go outside leaving the boy with no choice but to strap in and pray that they would get through it alive.

It was dark... his eyes cloudy as they slowly parted... he quickly realised he had passed out... possibly when the ship had exploded or maybe it was when they crashed down into the planet either way most of the rest had left... except Pyremius... Damien undid the latches and slowly hobbled his way out to the exit as he saw water out the window figuring they landed somewhere...

The place they were at though... it was... so similar to his home, a tropical island in the middle of the ocean perfectly reminiscent of his own. The salty air, the perfect clear skies, the trees wafting in a gentle breeze... without even realising it he was grinning as he hopped down into the sand running over to the group gathering aside attempting to help them build a camp which was far more suited to his skills than making sense of a magic metal ship that could fly through space.

Time enough passed and he took a seat by the fire, listening to Sol’s explanation he had a few questions, specifically what an engine was and why they needed several of them. Still if they were in the right place that would be good and he at least could guess at what he was meant to do... maybe... probably... it’d work out somehow...

“I’m good thank you Pyre, I was just thinking... if the keyhole is meant to be at some amazing place... do you think it could be at the top of that volcano?”

Damien pointed towards the centre of the island where even in the darkness the imposing form of the volcano making the core of this islet could be seen simply by the silhouette blocking out the stars.

Boy, wasn't it a calm day? Sun shining high, bugs running around, and a nice breeze to make everything just perfect. Leaning carefully on one of the upper branches of one of the giant trees, Ciel was having a terrific start of what seemed to be quite the highlight on her recent adventuring. No more swamps with evil creatures trying to pull her down, nu-huh; from now on just sun and fresh leafs.

Or at least that was the idea until she caught the sight of a massive Heartless army going full speed, practically ending anything that was on their path. Said path seemed to contain a couple of travelers that certainly looked lost -she couldn't quite see their faces from the distance, but if you saw two spots standing there, there wasn't much else to think about it-. Had they brought the Heartless, perhaps? If so, they better got up before being turned into nothing. But if that much was true...she wouldn't give them the chance to move too freely. Honestly, she hoped they weren't related to it in any way.

"Better head down and take a peek", mused as she straightened and walked over the branch. It was going to be something of a bumpy ride until she could actually take a good look on them.

{Large Hill}

Odin hovered down from the ship as he and Furor exited. He then turned and punched a command into the datapad near the hatch they'd come from. The door closed and the ship soon vanished as the stealth technology was activated. He'd had to do some looking during the trip, but it wasn't hard considering his kind never slept. Luckily the ship had a program set up to keep otherworlders from stumbling onto something they weren't meant to.

Odin turned and looked over to Furor, scanning the landscape a moment. "Well, I suppose finding the nearest town would be a good start. What do you thi..." He suddenly was cut off as he spotted a rip in the air some slight distance away. He easily recognized the doorway of darkness as it spat out a single figure onto the grass before vanishing completely. Odin lifted a large hand, gesturing Furor's attention toward the new arrival. "Perhaps we should go see to him before we get to work..." Odin waited to hear his reaction, not wishing to just run off without his comrade.

*Tropical Island*

While they camped, a blue creature quietly and quickly moved toward them. The bushes rustled as other beings, not as stealthy as the blue creature, shuffled through the brush. There were three: one was a large being wearing strange goggles that seemed to be made for more than two eyes. He held some kind of gun in his hands. The second was thin and seemed to have something on his head. That one was unarmed. The third was small and held a weapon as well.

The blue one got as close to the fire as it could without being detected. Then it tensed up and, with a strange battlecry, launched itself at Damien. It was a lot heavier than it looked and Damien was sent tumbling with the thing still on him. "Ichi pah!" Now that it was in the light, the blue creature could be seen. It kinda looked like a koala, an evil one. It had blue fur, a row of spines on its back, and four arms.

The others came forward, brandishing their weapons. The first was a large creature wearing a flowery shirt and shorts. Both barely fit. He held what looked like a toy gun. He was aiming it at Sol. The second was... wearing a dress. It only had one eye, an antennae, and four legs. It didn't have anything but was trying to look threatening by assuming a karate pose. The third was a small girl in a red dress with a white flower image on it. She held another toy gun, this one pointed at Pyre. The big one spoke, his voice booming. He had a strange accent. "Who are you? Did Hamsterviel send you?"

*The Jungle*

Unfortunately, someone had gotten there before Lern and Alucard. They hadn't gone far before Lern hit a wire that he couldn't see and fell flat on his face. Alucard was less lucky. He had stepped on what looked like a patch of grass when the ground fell apart and he began to fall down a pit that had a spiked bottom.

The wire had slowed down Lern enough for the fastest of the ants to catch up. One of the ants closed its jaws on Lern's ankle before Lern could pull away. Luckily, Lern's training made sure the injury wasn't severe but his movement was going to be limited. In the distance, he could hear what sounded like shouting but he had more worrying issues at the moment.

*Hills*

A few minutes after Odin and Furor reached the dragon man, two things happened. One, they heard an incredibly pathetic cry. It sounded something like 'llama-face' but why would someone say that? It was coming from the village. They could make out movement next to the house on the top of the neighboring hill. It was near enough that they could get there in only a minute or two. The other was a little more pressing. There were about twenty five shadows surrounding them, apparently drawn by the dragon-man's entrance.

Assuming they went to the village after the fight, they would find it to be a nice, quiet village. Well, except for the whining coming from the top of the hill. They passed two old men playing checkers and found the top house to be the largest. The whining seemed to be coming from the backyard. There they found a large man who seemed to be trying to comfort a black and red llama that was bawling its eyes out.

Before Alucard knew what was happening, he was falling. Glancing down, he could see the bottom of the pit…and the spikes that awaited him. “Crap. Why is it that every time I go to a new world, the first thing that happens to me is bad!?” Drawing his scythe from it’s place on his back, Alucard swung the blade into the wall in front of him. The blade held, but just barley. Alucard jerked to the stop, just feet away from a grisly death. Looking up, he could see light spilling through the hole. This was no natural pit, it was man made, that he was sure of. He would have to find out who had set this trap, and why…but first thing was first. Get out of the hole. Grabbing onto the scythe with both hands, Alucard swung up, and landed on it’s staff. He had to focus, one wrong move, and he would be falling again, and this time, he wouldn’t be able to stop. Alucard jumped onto the wall, and grabbing the scythe, pushed off, sending him flying to the other side. The scythe broke free from the wall, as Alucard swung it towards the next wall. Repeating this process over and over, Alcuard finally reached the top of the pit. As he pulled himself out, he could see Lern had been captured by one the heartless. “Well, there goes the whole run and gain an advantage idea.” Cursing to himself, Alucard ran towards the heartless, pulling his scythe backwards, ready to cut the heartless’ head off.

-Solvan Jones - The Unknown (?) Beach -

Sol stared for a moment at their assailants, counting their number and trying to figure out what was going on. His eyes fell on the girl, however, and he shook his head.

"This is unfortunate," he said to the hulking beast. "Because, at the moment, we seem rather evenly matched."

He motioned behind him, where Lesca had pointed two revolvers at the beast and the dress-wearing...thing, and other members of the crew had similarly eased into fighting positions, save Silva and Vesper, who were incapacitated next to the fire.

"We didn't come here to get into a conflict with locals," said Sol, sighing. "But I can't vouch for my crew's actions if one of our cargo is damaged."

He pointed at the little blue furball that was wrestling against Damien on the sand.

"That," he said. "Is our cargo your pet is trying to dismember. If we tell you that we have no idea who this Hamster-thing is, can we end this standoff like civilized beings?"

-Fern Gully-

'Ugh' went learn after his sudden trip, this wasn't what he needed right now. Before he could get to his feet an ant had clamped on to him. Rolling himself over as best he could he extended a hand with a single extended finger point upwards; sweeping it around in the air, his finger curled inwards as he did so. After a few seconds of hand waving he flicked the heartless on it's head and in the next instant there was electricity arcing out of it's body until it faded away into darkness.

Free now Lern returned to his feet, the encounter hadn't caused him any serious harm aside from a small cut on his ankle but it was probably a good idea to avoid acrobatics. He was concerned that Alucard was missing, though moments later the man leaped out of a hole in the ground so all was well. "That just means we'll have no choice but to fight." Lern threw back both of his arms collapsing his fingers into cones as best he could before thrusting them forward. The result was spears of ice piercing through 5 or 6 ants as well as the ground, the spear seemed to remain forming a kind of wall the heartless had to go around to get closer.

'Closer' was of course near Alucard so he'd have a nice steady line of heartless coming in for the slaughter.

Damien was sitting quietly considering what places here might actually have this ‘keyhole’ the volcano still seemed like the most likely place to him to find it... there didn’t seem to be anywhere else ‘fantastic’ he was so focused on his thoughts about that he didn’t notice the nearby rustling, the crazed cry the first sign he got only giving him just enough time to turn to face it before he was flung away into the sand by its momentum.

He let out a panicked cry, his first thought that this weird dark blue thing was a heartless and he summoned the keyblade as quick as he could causing it to appear in a flash between the two of them so he could use it to leverage the monster off, pushing with all his strength to throw it away to the side rolling away and standing up as quick as he could brandishing his weapon towards the new beast. Only then noticing that all the others had brought out weapons and were ready to fight the other creatures that had appeared.

“Wait!? I’m just cargo to you!?”

~Pyremius Gerra - Not So Deserted Island~

Pyre had only just gotten up and taken a step when a weird sort cry, a little like a battlecry, was released nearby, to then be followed by a panicked one from Damien. He turned around while Ignis materialized in his hand, only to see Damien had been tackled and was now wrestling with a strange, possibly dangerous, blue creature.

He didn't have much time to help him, however, as three more creatures came forward from between the palm trees. A big one sporting a toy gun, a one-eyed... Thing that failed miserably at looking threatening, and, much to his surprise, a little girl, using the same kind of toy gun as the big one. Normally this would be good, seeing a local, but the fact she was aiming that thing at him was quite unassuring.

Hearing the big one's question, he couldn't follow all that much, thanks to that weird accent. "Hamster-who, now?" Then, flames starting to come off Ignis as his sentence went on "And before we get to introductions, get that thing to stop!"

Hearing Sol talk about Damien as cargo reminded him of what he had said before they crashed, first asking how the passengers were before adding 'I didn't really care, I just thought it was polite to ask.' It made him wonder how much Sol even thought of the entire situation, aswell as people he didn't know.

( GM Approved )

-Hills-

The calm after the battle caused the black robed man to grumble angrily, only one weeping citizen instead of many. Slowly he made his way towards the top of the hill, his great sword cutting its way through the obstacles in his way. At the sight the robed man seemed rather confused as to why a man was holding a crying llama. Out of frustration he raised his blade to swing down towards the man, but stopped suddenly, his gaze fixed on Furor. A key-blade wielder standing in front of him, a wicked smile broke out underneath his hood. He wrapped his gloved fingers around the hood covering his head and face and pulled it back slowly; the man was pale, and his hair fell down over his shoulders and bobbed slightly as he walked forward.

He continued to smile, forgetting about the llama and the man, and totally ignoring the presence of the other man with Furor. His hand wandered to the sack and he chuckled quietly to himself. "Another addition to my collection," he said simply, raising his hand and snapping his fingers. As the time around him began to slow to a halt he walked forward slowly, taking up his blade in both hands and swiping the blade quickly across Furor's neck. He placed his hand atop the young man's head and took a firm grasp of his hair and pulled removing Furor's head. He replaced his flamberge onto his back and inspected the head for a moment, as if he were an antiques dealer pricing an ancient heirloom. "Not a bad one and hardly any sport involved. Disappointing that may be, but the boss' orders come before my own desires."

The executioner stopped staring at the new trophy he had just collected and turned his gaze to Odin and began to grin manaically once again, "I'll be seeing you later I hope," he said turning and heading back towards the portal, only snapping his fingers once more when he was out of sight, and out of reach.

Alucard saw the Lern was alright, able to take care of the heartless easily. Good. Now staring up at the wall Lern had made, Alucard could feel something inside him stir. Grabbing his heart, Alucard growled in pain. This many heartless at once was stirring up the darkness within. He could feel it squirming within his heart, ready to take over, ready to break free and consume him. The heartless were getting closer, and as Alucard fell to his knees, the pain increasing, his heart, hurting. His past began to flash in front of him, the parents death, his transformation…all the people he had seen die at the hands of the heartless.

Yesssss, thatssss it. Let the darknessss flow.

“No. No, I won’t. I won’t let it take over again…I won’t!”

The first heartless opened it’s mandibles, and began to close them around Alucard. With lightning fast speed, Alucard grabbed the Ant’s head, and pushed it away with ease, causing it to crash into the others. Alucard smiled, his teeth more visibly longer, and sharper. He stood up and opened his eyes. They were completely black. Grabbing his scythe, Alucard ran towards the heartless, and began to slice through them with his scythe. He jumped back from the remaining heartless, and licked his blade. “That was fun…who’s next?”

{Hills, Somewhat Near Village}

Odin quickly cleaved his sword down, feeling the Heartless fade with the contact. Then suddenly, he felt the magic summoning him had started to wane. Seeing the remaining Heartless had vanished, he let go of his enchantment, returning to his thereal form. Just as time began to freeze around them. He paused a moment, finding his presence limited. Had he stayed in his physical form, he would have been completely inside this plain of existence and frozen completely. But with part of him still located in another realm, he was merely being slowed down considerably. He began to turn, wanting to check on Furor.

Odin saw the robed man speak before leaving, watching time return as Furor's body flopped lifelessly down. Odin's emotionless face never flinched nor showed any emotion for the fallen comrade. "... Yes, you will be seeing me again..." He stated aloud to nobody in particular. His voice was more openly emotional than his face. There was a tone of mild anger, with a heavy influence of intent to kill. He quickly moved forward, checking over Furor and then the other man he had come to investigate.

The Heartless and the robed figure following his arrival had not done much to help him in Odin's eyes. "You!" He stated in a booming tone that was easily heard everywhere nearby as it echoed off the mountains and hills around them. "I have an ally dead... Your presence seems to predate death, young one. I shall take you into my custody, and ensure that you not cause harm to others." He quickly plucked up Furor's body up and closed his eyes, letting out a chant of a foreign dialect, muttering a warrior's prayer for the fallen. Soon enough, the body faded and became enshrouded in a black smoke as a Heartless began to form. Odin couldn't use his weaponry, so he couldn't send it away by his usual method. But he didn't need to fight it, either. Quickly grasping it into his hand, he glared at the Shadow, his hand easily big enough to hold down its arms and keep it from attacking. He pulled his arm back and swung forward, his powerful arm throwing the Heartless through the air. It was out of sight before one second had passed. It likely wouldn't be harmed, but it would get the creature away for at least a while. Though he doubted that it would come back for them.

Finally, Odin lifted up the stranger as he turned around to the man. "... I will require your name. And as you cost me an ally, you shall become my new comrade in arms... I will hope that you can prove yourself not in league with that corrupted and his ilk." Odin let the man down, then grabbed him by his collar, beginning to hover forward while dragging the man along for the trip to the village. They would quickly arrive and easily notice the odd sight of the man hugging the llama. Odin stopped moving, staring at the two and slowly tilting his head. He blinked once. And the simple act of him even blinking at all was a feat of oddity in itself as he almost never blinked.

Things were going well finally, Lern had succeeded in slowing the heartless' advance and set them up for the slaughter in the process. Although there was something odd with the way Alucard was acting, very odd actually. After his display of agony his aggression seemed to be rising exponentially, a veritable transformation of kinds. Though Lern had seen part of this darker Alucard previously this time he was a bit more able to assess the nature of it, though not exactly identify it.

Whatever the case it was likely dangerous now to let this fight go any longer, fortunately Lern's previous plan could still be salvaged, the heartless were bunching up nicely. He slid a foot to the side widening his stance, drawing his arms in to his front before abruptly flicking them perfectly vertical though still fold in. A red aura grew up around him while he was in this stance, though after a few brief moments and with a guttural growl Lern pushed both arms forward. What resulted was a column of flame quickly growing downwards in the mass of heartless instantly vaporizing those it touched, once it contacted the ground it erupted outwards in all directions over a fairly wide area roasting the heartless which had survived.

The attack complete Lern caught up with his breath and he wiped a faint trace of sweat from his brow before it could actually be noticed. All that was left to do was to see how Alucard would respond now that the threat had been cleared away.

{Hills}

Odin looked up as he felt a strong tug, feeling his body becoming heavy and....real. Something was calling him, and had no room for an argument. Before he could say anything, Odin was pulled through the rifts between dimensions. His spirit savagely yanked loose from its incorporeal prison as the magical hook, as it were, sank into his form to pry him out of one universe...

And into his true home... Looking up, he saw a familiar face. "... Easy solution; You used a summoning spell to recall me to where I belong... I might have been surprised, had I not remembered how it felt being pulled at so suddenly... Thank you, Ifrit." The warrior fully stood up upon his legs, a brief hint at a smile showing for the shortest of seconds. He was finally home again. But yet, the others were now one man short... He gave only the slightest of worry for them before suddenly turning, feeling the eyes of Bahamut on the back of his head.

He wasn't going to get the chance to think for a second longer.

Alucard barley reacted to the Heartless’ disappearance. He just stood there, his scythe falling to his side. Then he turned his head, and smiled. “Your seem powerful. Lets fight.” Alucard raised his scythe, and ran towards Lern, appearing as nothing more then a black blur. He appeared in front of Lern, the blade of his scythe behind his neck. “No. Your not strong enough to fight.‘I’ll simply kill you.” Alucard didn’t blink, and barley moved his lips as he talked. Raising his other hand, Alucard moved it towards Lern’s head, grasping for his neck. Before he reached it however, pain filled Alucard’s black eyes. Dropping his scythe, Alucard grasped his head, and walked away from Lern, crying out in pain. “Get…away…from me!” Alucard looked at Lern, his eyes halfway normal, his pupils reappearing, and disappearing. Alucard was trying to get himself under control, trying to lock the darkness away again. How many had he hurt like this? How many more would he hurt if this continued? Alucard fell to his hands and knees, gasping in pain. Everything had disappeared, in his eyes. There was only himself, and the darkness now.

*Jungle*

The attacks from both of the heroes drove the heartless back and the ones who were not killed left to go after other targets. Alucard and Lern was now alone. Well, alone for about three seconds. Two shadows moved across the ground and a woman with wings descended while the second shadow started moving through the air like a drunkard.

Looking up, they could see a bat with what looked like a man in his claws. The bat said "Ladies and gentleman, this is your stewardess speaking. We regret any inconvenience the sudden cabin movement might have caused. This is due to periodic air pockets we encountered. There's no reason to be alarmed and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?" The man yelled "Wrong channel!" and whacked the bat's head. A spark connected two wires that seemed to be coming out of the bat's head. The bat shook its head, then descended. He looked at the two with curiosity "And what are you? You look awfully familiar."

The man removed himself from the bat's embrace and said "Batty, look at me, then look at them." The bat looked back and forth a few times, then jumped backwards. "More little humans!? What's the world coming to!?" The man strode forward and offered up his hand. "My name is Zak. I didn't think anyone else would be as unfortunate as me. You get shrunk by a fairy as well?" The fairy stopped him. "Wait, Zak, something's wrong with that guy." She pointed at Alucard.

Beach

The blue creature bunched up and yelled, in a kinda squeaky voice, "Feeboogoo!" The girl yelled "Wait, Stich!" The creature growled a little "Kata baka-dooka?" The girl shook her head "I don't think these guys are working for Hamsterviel." The guns were lowered and the one-eyed, four-legged being relaxed. The big guy spoke up "Sorry for that. It's just that the last two groups that arrived attacked our island. We have barely been able to fend them off. Especially the ones in the black robes." He sighed and sat down. "What happened to your ship? It looks terrible."

The display of power Lern had used seemed to be ill timed, if anything he should have saved the energy for dealing with Alucard it seems. Though the man did seem to be struggling enough to regain his composure, or perhaps even control of himself, he'd only barely kept Lern from a near death experience. When the attack had ceased Lern forced his tired body around and with a heave kicked Alucard's scythe into the jungle and out of sight. His intention was of course that he could better defend himself if the weapon was out of the picture.

Then to complicated matters some of the natives arrived on the scene, three actually; a fairy, a human that claimed to have been shrunk, and a bat which was lacking a bit of sanity. "You could say that." Lern responded to Zak. "Your friend is also correct, Alucard here is having a little bit of an episode so if you could stay where you are until he calms down that would be great."

Alucard was swimming in the darkness, all consumed by it eternity. He had failed to control himself…and now he felt himself slipping away…becoming a heartless, slowly, surly. He didn’t even notice the arrivals of the natives, or the fact that his weapon had been discarded into the forest. He just collapsed, his body going limp as his heart fought for him. When it was all over, Alucard had gained control over himself again, the darkness locked away within his hear again…for now. Slowly getting up, Alucard looked around. The remaining heartless had disappeared, and had been replaced with…well, Alucard couldn’t really describe them. Alucard didn’t even dare look back at Lern, his shame at almost killing the man to great. Alucard just cursed himself as he regained his composure. “Lern…forgive me for what just happened…that was something I never wanted anyone to see, and the main reason I’m on this quest. I’m trying to find a cure, but if ever comes a time where that happens to me, you have permission to kill me.” Alucard didn’t look back at Lern when he talked. He just looked at the natives with a mournful expression. “My name is Alucard. Pleasure to meet you.”

=Solvan Jones - Hawaii.=

Sol glanced at Damien, and shrugged - he would deal with that later. When the enemy lowered their weapons, Sol glanced around and his crew members became more relaxed and lowered their own as well. Sol could hear Lesca struggle to stand, and shot her a glare, stopping her from rising.

He looked towards Damien, and searching for damage. When it seemed the Keywielder had been unharmed, he turned his attention back to their new company.

"Our ship was attacked by Heartless on our way in," he said, watching the furry blue creature. "We were undermanned and had something aboard that they wanted. We managed to get through, but one of our engines is shot, and our chief engineer is in critical condition."

"As for the Black Robes..." he glanced towards his passengers and shrugged. It was up to them if they wanted to spill.

Damien watched nervously at the weird exchange between the little girl and the blue monster thing... luckily it seemed she had some control over it as it stopped trying to attack, at least he hoped so. He vanished the keyblade for the moment and looked around at the other... things... the moogle had been interesting but the other two aliens here were kind of freaky. Especially the four legged yellow thing...

“Who’s Hamsterviel?”

The boy was a bit surprised to hear about the black robed guys, like that guy he had met first after being spirited away by the waves. Sol seemed to have control over the situation and so Damien judged it that what he was saying was enough... after all, if these black robed guys had been attacking then by knowing them they may be considered their allies and hence these guys enemies... which would mean they’d go back to fighting, which he really didn’t want to do against the small blue... dog... koala... thing..
I... am plotting something... he he he he...

~Pyremius Gerra - Beach~

Seeing the weapons being lowered, and Damien was alright, Pyre relaxed a little, and planted the axe in the sand as the flames on it became smaller and eventually disappeared.

While looking at the strange fighting force, he noticed that the girl, and the blue... thing had a bond strong enough that it listened to her, and she seemed to understand what it blurted out. He then started wondering about who these 'black robed people' were, knowing he'd heard about it before, but couldn't directly recall.

Sol and his crew also had tensed down, but he saw Lesca's urge of trying to get up being stopped by a glare of Sol. Thinking about it, Pyre noticed Sol had checked if Damien was ok. Seems he cares more than he lets on to?

Pyre was wondering about the same thing Damien just asked out loud. 'Who's this Hamsterviel that they got so tense about our crash...?'
