I've been wondering, is it possible to convert Melanie into a battle mage with magic related to sound but not like bardic spells?

Joint teaching one guy only?
Or are you saying that some other students will join Helios in Eluviete's class?
Oh and Melanie's going to be changed into a priestess of Elistraee/Bard mix.

My question still arises. Unless we get a second priest(ess) of Elistrae, Lysander's got his hands even more full. But in theory, classes concerning Elistrae would only happen at night...

If Tsuna's character is accepted one of the trinkets she has is a "moon" battery so she can use her power even during the day plus even if that weren't the case, most of the time you can still see the moon in the sky even during the day so it would teaching during the day would work just at a greatly decreased level

By theory, Elistraee priestesses are strengthened in moonlight, a sort of second-level activation.
In daylight, their able to use their spells too but not up to full power.
Of course, training makes it possible for priestesses to use darkness as power too or maybe make their powers strong enough for fighting in daylight.

But training at night would put you forth into your fullest power, and dancing in the middle of the day to praise your night-time goddess just seems wrong.

Well like I said before the moon (despite whether or not you can always see it) is visible even during the daytime so maybe training is more or less to be able to siphon power from the moon even during that time so your never without power, but during said training where your not that far into it characters like tsuna's new one would need a secondary power source since they're not far enough into their training to get power from the moon during the day or something like that

It's quite normal for people to want to take their religions/ worshippings and stuff further.
Look at it like this, Christians were split into a bunch of categories due to the different ways that all the others saw Christianity as a religion like Catholics, Seven Days, and Roman Catholics.
So in basis, if you used daylight for Elistraee spells, it will be different in terms of power and effect but are still from Elistraee.

Your probably right and honestly I don't know why I care about this since none of my characters are Elistraee worshipers

She is worshipped by song and dance, if at all possible, in the surface world under the moonlit night among the woods. She takes great pleasure in bards learning new songs, craftsmen at work, and the doing of kindhearted deeds.

I think I just bagged like a bunch of things with this.

First, it says that she is worshipped by song and dance but not necessarily by moonlight. It also says that under moonlight, it is the best condition but not the needed.

Second, it seems that Melanie is a liable character since Eilistraee takes joy in bards making songs related to her or something of the sort.

Third, I LOVE WIKIPEDIA.

Elistraee - Godess of the Moon. Her attacks originate from moon beams weaved with magic, or by dances to the goddess, her symbol is the halfmoon crescent with a sword through it that all priest/priestess's must wear. "By the song or the sword."

Definition we're using. As put in the first post, describing the gods.

Daytime - Extremely weak moon beams
Nighttime - Extremely strong moon beams
Medium moon beams would probably be at Twilight or Dusk
And you can Dance at any time so it all works out in the end

but if you still feel the daytime beams would be too weak you could start your training regimen at dusk and work into the night and your students would need escorts back to their rooms after words

I said you "could" not that you had to but, I do have to wonder if just because your bards of the night why does that mean you don't need rooms?

I agree with Gareth.
Yo dog, we heard you like to dance in the moon, so we put a moon in yo moon so you can dance while you dance. :O

Actually Livix, it's true that the priestess of Eilistraee need to train outside in order to max out their abilities. On the other hand, I would actually put them indoors for training their abilities with little reliance on moonlight.

I'd just like to say that the moon comes out during the day... So moonbeams can happen during the day too.

Yeah they are because some of us didn't get to do it before the IC came out and we didn't really bothered until we realized we had a shortage of students to bards. :[
