Tried to keep the history short on this one for you Fen. Hope it went well this time.
Name: Victor Lucas Bartholomew Gerald Francois Christopher Almono De’Vonte the Fourth, Victor or Vic for short
Height: Five feet and eight inches
Weight: One hundred and seventy-three pounds
Appearance: Victor’s body is finely toned, crafted and almost neatly sculpted into a fit and lean frame. His muscles, while not large, are quite athletic and built for endurance. His tanned skin being smooth and clean, casting a slight shine in the sun. Hair of golden blonde locks that remain parted from the left side of his scalp. Eyes of shimmering of a bright blue that could make the most crystal clear waters feel shame. His chin slightly sticks out, giving added masculinity to couple with his lean and strong cheek bones.
Victor’s attire consists of more…casual wear in comparison to most other ‘devout’ mages. He wears a denim jacket with a gray hood over a white t-shirt. His blue jeans loose and fitted down by a brown, leather belt with a silver, rectangular buckle. Always wearing the legs tucked into his boots. The boots are buckled over his shins, reaching to just two inches below his knees.
Personality: Victor is a flamboyant and flashy young man. Constantly seeks attention and showcases abilities at any given chance. Most proud of his prowess, he seeks only to further his fire skills as best he can, not caring for strengthening any other forms of magic. Victor carries himself with a relaxed and free spirit, always looking for the most fun activities to distract him from any serious situations.
In relation to his family, Victor becomes distant. Overly protective and defensive about his feelings towards them, though displays hints of disfavor at their existence.
Victor has a sharp instinct of some type to tell him when a certain kind of food is nearby. Upon finding strawberries Victor becomes very excited, never passing up a chance to eat some (all) of them.
Victor’s attitude and easy-going nature seems to only have one weakness that causes him to become angered. Rich and haughty people annoy and anger Victor to no end.
Background: Victor was born the first son -- third child -- to his father, from whom he carries his name. His mother was one of four women his father married and bore a child to. And also one of four women who died in child birth. The reason, according to their father, is that their mothers were all normal humans with no talent for magic. But by passing on his talents to his children, their births killed the host parent. By Victor the Third’s views, this makes each child an accessory to murder as they inadvertently helped him in causing the deaths of their mothers.
Each of the man’s children has grown up, never forgetting the truth of their birth. Always harboring hate and malice for their father, but just as guilty that they as well helped to kill their own mother by just living. Victor the Fourth, the youngest of his father’s children, was seen as the outcast by his sisters. He was a male, same as their father. He was a blonde, same as their father. And he had caused his mother to die, making him as much to blame as they were. They despised their younger brother and were all too happy to show it. Using him and torturing him. Teaching him that he was weak and worthless. Telling him that no one would like him, that he wasn’t ever anything special. And any time either of the girls felt unhappy, they would beat or use their brother in some form to make themselves happy again at his expense.
And thus Victor was raised. Constantly ridiculed by his father. Tormented daily by his elder siblings. And the only relatives that visited were from his father’s side -- all of which showed where his father had been taught his abusive nature. They would tell him frequently of how he was enchanted at birth to be most proficient with fire and heat so as to be a proper heir for his father.
And this was how he was lied to all his life.
The truth of Victor’s family; his birth; the birth of his sisters; even the birth of his father was kept from him as he has yet to age enough to be told the secret. Victor was never born. His siblings were manufactured, same as him. And his father was no more a real human than any of his children or their relatives. Victor carries his father’s name because, like his father, he is a numbered specimen created to house the talent of fire. His father had been made with high hopes, but his could not house living flame. But Victor the Fourth, created after years of experimentations of the Third, was modeled to carry fire inside his body. Magic literally running through his veins. Another homunculus created by the aging mages that are his so-called ‘relatives’. A vessel meant to house the raw talent of one type of magic, all for them to use and control.
And so Victor has been sent to a special school for him to learn to increase his talents and skills. Told another lie about being sent off so as to give his family some rest from his annoying behavior.
Type: Mage -- Though Victor claims to only wish to excel at the use of the fire element, the truth is that he has no actual choice. Unlike most mages, Victor was born with a limitation in his options. He exhibits mild and very little skill at some minor charms, such as changing his voice, to an extent. But otherwise, he can only use the element of fire when performing magic to a greater degree. The reason being that it was what his family had wanted of him. (Better clarified in Background.)
Power: Victor has studied the use of fire in various ways, whether natural or otherwise. He uses this to help him better manipulate and use flames in ways that cost him little energy. His main focus has been to use a lighter to provide an initial flame from which Victor can spread through the air by burning oxygen and dead molecules present in the air to give it shape and form. This costs him little energy as he doesn’t create the fire himself, merely moving it and shaping it into a controlled form. Typically shapes the fire into various weapons, such as swords, whips, spears, axes, or just shoots a ball of fire by using the lighter as a gun.
Though Victor prefers to not create flames himself, he has an abundant skill in doing so. But, when creating fire by himself without the lighter as a focus, the flames become more wild. From time to time the flames will grow on their own and rebound Victor’s energy, manipulating him to become more consumed with the heat and passion for battle. This causes him to expel energy to an absurd degree and release flames at anything he can still see through the heat and smoke around him. At present, this has only occurred once before and Victor limit’s the chance of it happening again by always carrying a lighter.
Note: Victor doesn’t know this, but his body is partially healed by heat and flame due to its unnatural bond to fire.
Weapon: A common, easy-use lighter which Victor uses to create a flame. Prefers the lengthened lighters that have handle grips and triggers to squeeze.
Trinkets: Victor wears an earring on his left earlobe that has been fitted with a charm to provide him with mildly enhanced physical strength. A gold ring on his left pinky allows him to drain magical energy from an enemy attack if they try to use fire spells on him. And a silver, chain necklace allows his clothes to be more resistant, giving his jacket, jeans and boots the properties of light armor.
