xD well if physics are followed there will be blood and guts. When Marius connects with a hit, it is quite a wallop usually involving broken bones and depending upon the area internal bleeding.

If your opponent defies basic gravity and all that by dodging an attack without leaving himself open for a follow-up or leaving himself unable to attack, you are entitled a free dodge or a free strike.

The same applies to the 'auto-hit' that is very common in RP's. Unless it is agreed that you will receive an attack. If you recieve an unavoidable attack you may choose to simply ignore it, or give them an attack of equal or lesser value without falling prey to my warnings.

It could also be said he used the updraft from the lava or some sort of spell to simply push himself away

Oh okay. Well this is kinda my first RP so I wasn't too sure. And there were other ways he could have dodge, just the way he did dodge defied physics. He could have landed and rolled with the punch or and I assume this would have been possible for him since he is an assassin and part cat used my arm to change directions or even landed upon my arm. there were many other ways he could have dodged, but the way he did just wasn't possible. Hell he also could have used the scythe to escape. I grabbed it, but, he could have used it as a fulcrum to launch himself over me. There was a TON of ways he could dodge while conserving physics, but he choose the one that didn't and put him in a more favourable position.

@Livix: But then he would need to say that, saying I dodge while in mid-air is kinda like saying I teleport when you aren't a spell caster, it's just not possible.

lol long rant sorry.

-claps like a little girl- YAY! Physics helps in seeing blood and guts!

Counterfeit, physics rants confuse my tired brain after the first sentence. :/
Meh. If I had a good avatar, this would be worth it.

xD Sorry. Again my Major so I know a lot about it. xD

Basically he was defying Newton's first law: Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. He is falling straight down, with no direction to the left or right. By dodging to the right he would have had to have been able to push off something to get the force required to do so or been pulled by something. That is the simple version of it.

If you wanna get a little more complicated: By leaning to the right, his upper body would have gone that way, but his lower body would have gone to the left as his centre of gravity would still be falling in the same direction. He would just give himself some rotation, but allow him to jump out of the way like he did.

The only physics I know are gravity, anti-gravity, microgravity, and artificial gravity. All are related to gravity.

I'm glad I only wanna be an author or animator when I grow up, not a physiologist, since you lost me at complicated.

xD The important part was the beginning anyway.

So Fenix I'm gonna take the advice of Cheese and send a PM to Music first giving him a chance to change it, then if that doesn't happen then we can discuss if it is a free hit. As Music and I are both kinda new to RPing, well I think s/he is, I know I am, I'm sure we can work this out.

I'm very fond of the "Oh looks like you've left an opening for me" approach

taking full advantage of the holes you horrible writers put into words during an RP fight

 Yes, it's evil, I know.

I leave holes on purpose. It gives them an opportunity to counterattack and it's not like Marius is a professional. Most of his fights have been against other students at an average high school, who would not be as strong as him. He is kinda like Gangryuong from Veritas. He is strong for a normal high school student in the beginning beat the crap out of a bunch of normal students but when dumped into a school of all martial artists he is deemed as weak. Then he works his way up the ranks. So it stands that he will leave openings for people to exploit.

@Slipslash Unless of course..
But don't worry counter, Player vs Player posts are hard to do if it's on the spot reactions, I tend to PM my opponent and try to organize at least some of my attacks (not all otherwise it'll feel too scripted.).

Do they have one set up though is the question. Sorry, I was ambiguous in my last response.

In Fight or finished
Bartuc
Elissa
Marius
Helios
Grim
Mike
Ichiro
Sebastian
Basil
Melanie
Kathryn
Mary

Which means from the first page...
Casey
Alex
Daniel
Galaxy
Christopher
Vincent
are those that have yet to fight or be given a fight.

Pairings that I could see would be Casey and Alex. BARD FIGHT!
Daniel and Galaxy. LIGHT VS DARK
Christopher vs Vincent. It's kinda the only one left... but PRIEST FIGHT!
