Nice, just started a new campaign yesterday. DM is using 4.0 which is completely weird. It's both simplified and a lot more complicated at the same time. I have a sneaking suspicion that the campaign is going to devolve into shits and giggles. A goblin rogue that runs around talking about trying to find shiny shit (though he is in character and hilarious as hell). A Druid and a Ranger (though that's a good combo) who are such good friends IRL that they transferred it into the game and were willing to let the other players get ambushed if it hadn't been for the DM threatening them DM intervention for going against alignment. Also the first action of the entire fing campaign had been the ranger wooing a gay silversmith into bed for a discount. And a blindsided DM who hadn't expected us to roll so well and so we progressed in the story too fast for her. Oh yes.... that one is going to hell in a handbasket really fast. But the journey will be fun I think.

Okay, so...WereNef's out and...uh, the building collapsed, so Ethan, Amber, and Garrath were either caught in it, or jumped off or something, right? Just trying to know what the situation is so I don't mess up when I post after all that. o.0;

I'm thinking that since we were near the arrows, that the building either collapsed and we rode it out or we jumped off first and then ran to them. I'm guessing since timer stated that werenef wasn't trying to harm you that she followed us and left you to do whatever, so it really just depends on what you want to do I suppose. Did you jump or ride the building till it collapsed?

I kinda imagined it differently.. think of it like a shack... Nef took away the front supports, and so the roof would collapse, and look more like a ramp, then the chimney stack that Garath blew off course would have collapsed the back struts at it hit the other end of the roof. This would make it just rubble at ground level.

Amber was on the roof, not under it, so was covered by minimal debris. Probably the most you'd get is uneven footing for a bit.

That's just kinda how I pictured it though :p

Off the top of my head, we'd have to tend to Garrath, Amber, and maybe Nef too, possibly explain what happened to the town since Jessi ran off to alert everyone, and if we decide to just make out way towards the water instead of going to the inn, we may need to get supplies.

...Oh, and Ethan'll probably need to explain why it took him a few hours to get back with everyone. Good news is that he has a present for when they get back to the ship...maybe

I asked her in IM. this was her response: "I just need to know if your setting off towards the well, stealing the stone from the snake ladies necklace, going back to the pirate ship, or going to the inn... or some other option." So I think Caim was right, which leaves the question, what are we going to do?

Well, listed some stuff up there in my previous post. Mentioned to UD over I'm that stealing the diamond now would probably be a very bad idea. If we're going to steal it, we should probably make sure it's the last thing we do, otherwise we'll be the prime suspects and the town won't be happy, so.. o.0;

Can just grab it on the way out, I think, if we really need to.

-Went to the ireland, met a boy called Jessi (a taur with a lion lower half)
-went looking for a black diamond, which was sold out
-Ethan disappeared for a bit
- then came back.
- Amber bitched at Nef...
-Nef broke her shoulder, destroyed a building, turned into a werewolf early, nearly killed the entire team...
-Garath and Amber used forbidden blood magic, Amber knows all about Garaths past, and read his mind.
-Amber after drawing all Garaths magic stopped the werewolf. with the help of a super strong Gor'Fek
- Garath, wereNef and Amber got carried back to the ship where people slept.
- Garath and Amber are a couple
- Ethan and Nef are a couple

Which leads us to where we are, when I have time I will start your special bit ... I'll love it... not sure if Severus will....

True, but I'm moderately certain that were-Nef would have been baisically defeated if Garrath had supported Amber's spell with his own instead of doing the sonic attack, as effective as it was. I mean, 44 points of magic holding her down against a strength of slightly more than 22, maybe? No way it could have come close to 44, not to mention Gor'Fek and Erederis still being around.

I thought Amber had lost control of the spell because of the flung cobblestone, thats why I used the other attack. For the most part I just didnt want to get swatted like a fly again.
