~Sgt. Mini Fillmore: Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff~

Mini nodded in acknowledgment to the Spanish speaking woman she knew some Spanish from her schooling, not that much honestly, but it was enough to understand what the woman was saying. "Buenos dias" she responded politely, turning her attention to the other people that Harold had just referred her too. Indeed, despite the sheer absurdity of the way these people acted, they all seem to be here for a reason. For why else would a group of quirky characters be gathered in an abandoned square in Cardiff? One was having some trouble with what seemed to be a common thief. Apparently the stories about Cardiff and common thievery were correct, although she was not alien to it. Back home the police were having their own with the gangs of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She remembered a time when you would walk to school and pass a bunch of abandoned apartment housings, with people telling you that criminals lived inside those houses. That's why they had to send soldiers up and down the streets on bicycles, to make sure people stayed safe. It became so bad they had to keep school grounds well guarded by soldiers. Such schools were protected by fence gates, which were closed to students after school started. Once she had to run to school after being followed by a stranger who seemed to be of vicious intent. What a good day that was. Anyways, she was hardly surprised. Cardiff was an urban center, much like New York City or San Francisco. It is only natural that such a city had gutless cowards lurking about the streets.

Mini gave the thief a disapproving scowl, telling him, "You're lucky I don't have my gun on me. Otherwise I would have shot your legs and arms then ship you off to the police in a nice cramped up truck. Maybe that way you wouldn't have any reason to steal anymore." Mini then went over to the victim herself. She saw how the victim dealt with the thief, and wanted to speak with her. "You handle yourself quite well. I'm impressed." she told her. "Tell me, have you had prior training?" she asked.

Specialist Hays smiled at Chimaera, "Good thinking. Just keep those away from the Gunny" Hays leaned in a little as to whisper, "I hear that her stomach is actually a black hole, consuming everything that it crosses paths with." He laughed at his own joke, a nice pleasant laugh that was loud enough to be heard in the midst of a bar. "But yes, I would love to. Thanks." The smile he wore disappeared when some dude came out of nowhere and demanded that the poor young lady gave him food. He glared at him, "Now that was unnecessary, doesn't anybody ever think to say please anymore? I mean this isn't the Big Apple!" Thankfully he hadn't done anything to heart Chimaera, but he had still scared her. "I think you outta apologize to the little miss."

Harold looked in the direction that had suddenly spiked Filmore's intrest; a slightly bambosalled theif who had rushed past earlier, was now turning pale from his intendid victims glare. The sargent approached and Harold was in two minds if he should follow or speak to her friend as he had managed to make himself aquainted with someone with a nice sellection of delicatesance. He may have already eaten, but the pasteries looked so delisious....
"......i'd shoot you..." Pulled back by the half heard remark, Harold quickly sideled back up to Filmore and said quietly to her
"Intention aside, including his obvious law breacking, it's not really the done thing to shoot someone and then hand him over to the cops, it's not cricket. Now if a Santa happens to show up thats another story, but the rest of us not so much."
Isabelle sat back down on the closest step and looked longinly at the Millenium centre.

~Curtis James Silva~ Roald Dahl Pass - Alley ~ Or the beginning?

Curtis gave as hiss of discomfort, a knee to the back could sure hurt like hell especially if it is unexpected. Curtis almost wanted to shake his head in confusion, but schooled his features into a better mask, no need to show transparency in situations like this. He quickly pushed himself off the ground and brushed a hand over his clothes as if dusting off invisible filth, it was good to be standing again; Curtis decided he would definitely take it over laying on the disgusting pavement. He watched as another woman stepped up and well basically threatened him, 'Not too nice at all are you?' a nasty voice inside his head muttered. Turning his back to the group Curtis began to walk further down the alley that he had crept into before he was caught. A smirk pulled at the corners of his lips and he pulled a small pile of cash and what looked like a leather bound piece of paper from his right sleeve. 'They probably should have called the police.'

~Emerald Marie Ivy~ Roald Dahl Pass ~

Ivy let out a small laugh and shook Jack's hand, "Well I have to say it is great to meet you Jack, my name is Ivy." Ivy glanced over he shoulder briefly to see the thief had stood and was staring at them, 'creeper,' she mentally hissed before looking up to see that Jack and herself had been joined by others. Emerald almost had to clamp a mouth over her hand to stop herself from laughing as the thief was threatened by a woman who looked very military in style. "Well I've lived in Las Vegas for all of my life and worked on the Vegas Strip for seven years, so I'm use to creepy people trying to take personal possessions from others." She grinned at Mini and wagged a finger, "I have to admit I will never look at a pair of high heels the same way again. Any way my name is Ivy and you are?" She asked holding out her hand for the other woman to shake.

Harold looked at the theif starting to creeping away
"Sorry to interupt my dear, but, although i'm not condoning shooting the thief, are you just going to let him wander off?"
Harold smiled and pointed in the direction of the young man.

Jack Bowman

Jack blinked and made a face at Mini’s comment. Hey, I’m still here as well. He thought as he suddenly felt left out. Oh yes... she was handling the situation so bravely. Well I WAS SITTING ON THE GUY! He went on in his mind. He simply turned his head and watched Curtis move away, as Harold was calling out to them. Well, go on and catch him, if you are so though lady. He gave Mini a look, put his skateboard down, and rolled away. Stupid, feministic, yank bird! They think they are better, than us. He fumed as he slowly rolled away from the group. Jack reached into his pocket to check the time on his mobile; it had to be 3 PM already, where the hell were those Torchwood guys.

~Sgt. Mini Fillmore: Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff~

The military woman glared at Harold for defending the thief, but decided he may have a point. Best not waste her ammo on scum. "Fine." she scowled. She still did not like how merciful Harold was. "But if I ever see this guy commit more acts against the law, hot lead dismantling his legs won't be the only thing he fears." Mini's sense of justice was....unique. It had a righteous yet savage anger to it, with a sort of taste for vengeance. No wrongdoer deserved a drop of water from the water hole, and in her own mind is better off wandering the desert sands alone, rotting away under the beaks of vultures. But she was a bully, it was something that could not leave her being, something she group up as, something she knew. Of course she would not let the thief see the light of day. Hell, if she could, she would kill the bastard. Maybe he'll have a good time in the fiery pits of Hell.

Hays, seeing that Harold was trying to reason with Sgt. Fillmore, thought he should let him know the truth. Leaning in close he told him, "Buddy, you might as well give up. Mini ain't exactly known for her mercy." Theo looked at his superior as she turned to address one of the ladies with a smirk. "She's not very sociable either, but that's another story."

"It is an honor meeting you Ivy" Miniqwa told Emerald. "My name is Sgt. Miniqwa Fillmore." Before she could say anything else (particularly about how harsh she heard Las Vegas was and how she thought Ivy would make a great soldier), the merciful man called Harold interrupted them to point out that their little prisoner was escaping. 'Not on my watch.' She took off while missing the nasty look Jack gave her, her military training kicked in as she ran in a powerful sprint, eventually tackling Curtis. With her left hand aimed for his shoulder and her right for his head, the soldier attempted to pin him down with her kneeling on top of him. She grabbed hold of his hair and shoved his face into the ground. Using her other hand she grabbed his arm and pulled it back, using her right knee to pin down his other arm. "Don't think your getting away from me that easy!" Out of the corner of her eye she spotted the leather bound piece of paper he was holding. She turned her head towards the group. "See? This is exactly why I would of shot him! And it looks like he's stolen someone's paper as well!"

~Curtis James Silva~ Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff

'Son of a...' Curtis let out a grown of pain as he was basically body slammed to the ground. He winced, never had he had this much trouble with a job before. Curtis had to hold back from yelling out a string of rather vulgar curses at the woman who was now man handling him. Really what was with these people, one minute they let him go and the next moment they were back again. “Wow,” Curtis growled out as he began to thrash beneath Miniqwa, “You would really shoot someone over a piece of paper. What are you a bunch a crazed tourists, or maybe you are a bunch of deranged novelists since you hold a little note pad so dear.” Maybe it was stupid to provoke the person who threatened to shoot his legs off, but it was possible if he shook her up enough he could find a way out and take off. “I usually don’t mind a woman on top, but I think you may be a bit too much into violence for my taste. Then again…”

~Sgt. Mini Fillmore: Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff~

Hays laughed out loud. "I like this guy!" he said. Even though the man had committed a crime he had spunk and a decent sense of humor. Not to mention the guy mentioned exactly what was on his mind at the moment. Theo Hays could not help but giggle.

Mini glared at her accomplice, he was really not helping her with his jokes. The Specialist only responded with a smile, this was going to be a good. Pushing the thief's head back into the ground she told him, "I'd shoot you for that smart mouth of yours if that's what your asking. Besides, that piece of paper may contain private information. How am I supposed to know you won't attempt identify thief? I honestly don't even know why anyone would let scum like you take off. You deserve to be confined in prison until a judge can figure out what to do with you." She increased the amount of force she was putting into his head and pulled back his arm even harder. "Now, tell us your reasons for taking this paper. I'm not stupid you know. Even if you aren't attempting identity thief that piece of paper is obviously important since you have taken precautions to take off with it while thinking none of us would notice."

Harold was musing on the title for a chapter in what would be a very differnt travel book to the ones he was used to writing: 'Tourist and their strange customs', just as a hand brushed against his elbow and he tuned to lok at Isabelle staring at the something the sgt. was handaling.
*Harold, that paper it is like the one you have, no?*
Harold turned towards Filmore as she pulled a very familiar piece of paper away from the thief. He looked at the robbed lady wit a quizical expression "You know what?" speaking to the group at large "I have an exact replicer of that paper, say's here that i'm... hu intresting.. i happen to be the king of Sardinia" He beamed cheekily, survaying the small crowd. He loked again, frowned and turned to Isabelle *It also say your my 7th wife?*

Chimaera - RDP - Are You Alright?

She gave a smile at the man who asked for the pastries and stood besides Hayes. She's scary, the young woman said, watching. She reached into her bag, skittered around Mini and Ivy; almost as if she were afraid of them, and crouched beside the fallen man. Are you alright? She asked, Are you hurt? She opened the tin and offered a few cookies, Would you like one?

-Jack Bowman-

Jack turned around to see Mini taking down Curtis... again. I knew it, a bloody bully through and through. And even a self-righteous one. I better get out of here before I’m gonna’ hurl. He watched the two for a minute and turned to leave when Harold flashes his paper. Ehh, it seems I ran into my group after all. Maybe that’s why he was eyeballing me. Jack rolled over to Harold, and took out his own paper. “Agent 42, Jack Bowman MI5. Pleased to meet you, your majesty.” He gave Harold a wide grin. Then he saw Chimera walking over to the pinned down man and offering him cookies. Jack buried his face in his palm. “This is getting all too silly.” He groaned, then he suddenly raised his head as he realized something. “What the hell? How manages such a thieving tosser to get all the girls?” He asked out loud. The whole situation was so off, so unreal like when he once overdosed on the Ritaline. Mom always said, that the Professor always attracted strange events and strange people. These people have to be the others.Oi!” He called over to Curtis and Mini. “Cut it out you two! You are embarrassing us in front of everybody! Get a grip or get a room, will you!” He yelled at them then looked at his watch. “Alright Jack should be here soon… or he is already here and watching those idiots.” He muttered to himself and looked around if he could spot the captain.

Chris desperately shoved the pastries and foods into his mouth, eating like he'd been starved for days. After a few grunts and groans of delighthe crammed the last bun into his already full mouth and began to try and swallow. It was an impressive sight to see a man swallow, quite literally, a mouthful of food. After a humungous gulp he started coughing violently as he gasped for air and tried to stop himself throwing up. arghhhh...that's gonna be hell later. he groaned as he wiped the remains from the cakes and buns off his mouth with his sleeve, smearing a long yellow lineof cream and crumbs down it. He belched loudly and sighed happily.

He began to notice the commotion behind him and turned around, he quickly walked over when he noticed that more biscuits were being handed around. Chris stood beside Mini and bent slightly over to look at Curtis. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Criminals everywhere these days. I'm glad I don't have to worry about what happens after I catch my guys. Would you like some help Miss?

~Curtis James Silva and Emerald Marie Ivy~ Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff

“Could you do me a favor and stop ramming my face into the pavement? Violence isn’t always the answer you know,” Curtis chided wincing a bit due to the force that was being put on his arm. ‘What is she trying to do, pull my arm out of its socket?’ “Identity theft, is that a trick question? I figured that it was a note pad for shopping list or something since it was blank and kept with the rest of that girls cash.” Curtis half rolls his eyes up so that it is easier to see Mini as Jack yells to them. “Well I wouldn’t be adverse to that at all, but unfortunately I am against S and M so we would have to leave that part out of it.” Curtis glances over at Chimaera, “I’m not hurt at the moment, though you probably should worry about yourself if the new strain on my arm has anything to do with what you just … Holy hell woman is that really necessary?”

Ivy snorts down at Curtis, “I believe it is, with a common crook like you wandering around I can’t really blame her.” Curtis gives Ivy a nasty look and pushes against Miniqwa again. “I really think that we should end this soon, even if I’m sure having someone like me below you is a wonderful fantasy that you could not wait to fulfill.”

Chimaera - RDP - What was it?

Chimeara put a cookie in Curtis's mouth. She thought a moment. There was something Bobby had told her... Ahh yes! She said cheerfully. She reached into a small side pocket of her bag and pulled something out. Sorry but this might sting a little. She bent down, her braid falling over her shoulder. She took the cookie from his mouth and peppersprayed him. "When a thief is about, Mace the motherfucker" She quoted cheerfully. My friend Bobby told me to do that.

----Sgt. Mini Fillmore: Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff----

Theodore chuckled at Chimaera's comment on Mini, "Don't pay her much mind" he advised her, watching as she went to the thief's side. Mini was not too happy by Chimaera giving a criminal of all people. What, was this city run by some sort of charity or something? She gave the woman a disapproving glare, "You have to be kidding me!" She could not believe how soft these people are. Would they act this soft if there was another alien invasion? It was ridiculous how some of them were even treating this as a joke. She scowled at Jack, "If people weren't so damned sensitive! What the hell are you talking about anyways? 'Get a room?' With this bastard son of a gun?" The sergeant turned the thief's head upwards so they could look at each other better. "I don't think so. I don't do relationships, especially with shitholes like you." After a slight pause she added, "Very funny by the way. Real fucking hilarious." Her gaze returned to Chimaera, still dismayed by her giving feeding a thief, but then she did something a little unexpected. She maced him. Mini gave Chimaera an approving nod. "See now, that's how you do it!" she praised her, making sure to give both his head and arm an extra painful pull before getting up off him, stepping on his back in the process. "And don't you ever suggest I would have the hots for your sorry ass ever again!" she sneered.

-Jack Bowman-

Jack winced as Chimaera suddenly maced Curtis out of the blue. He started to feel sorry for the guy, who he jumped on a just a couple of minutes ago. “Ahhh, this is cruelty against animals.” He said and looked around, but nobody seemed to care to end it. It was up to him to save the day. AGAIN!
Jack took out his mobile and flipped it open. He held the device in front of him like a weapon as he approached the three women torturing the poor man. “Alright, cut it out you crazy, bloodthirsty feminists! Call the Bobbies, or let the poor man go. Stop toying with him, or this goes on YouTube!” He made his demands.

Chimaera - RDP - Upsadaisy

Here's your cookie back. Again, I'm sorry, I hope I didn't get any in your eyes. Can I make a meal for you later to make up for it? I'm pretty good at that. She scooted away from Mini and helped Curtis up. She looked up at Jack, Bobby, My policeman friend back home, told me that's what you're supposed to do with a thief. She thought fo a minute Do you think the bobbies here are as nice as the ones back home?

~Curtis James Silva~ Roald Dahl Pass, Cardiff

Curtis let out a low moan of pain his eyes hurt like hell do to the mace and his back and arms felt mangled, ‘Note to self, call a chiropractor as soon as possible.’ He rubbed his eyes a bit, they still hurt too much for him to be able to completely focus on this strange group that had surrounded him. He really wasn’t sure where all these people had come from anyway. He had scoped this area out for three days before he struck and he had only seen a couple of people at a time, oddly the most often were the pizza deliver people from up the street but maybe one of the offices nearby just like pizza that too bloody much.

Curtis pushes himself, trying to stand, but can't seem to make it past kneeling. 'Well this is a very dignified position,' he sneered at himself, then one of the girls helped him to his feet. 'Nice, still no dignity though... fake it, that is always the best option...' Curtis offers a smirk to Jack, "Well I get all of the girls because I am obviously the more appealing person. Girls always go for the bad guys." Curtis turns his attention over to Mini and Chimaera. "I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but after having a cookie shoved partially down my throat and being sprayed with mace I'm thinking having a meal with you may not be the best idea." Curtis winks at Mini, "Well how about if I'm not the one who suggests it," Curtis gestures at Theodore, "He seems to think I would be good for you."

Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff
Torchwood is watching you…

Jack Bowman was correct in his deduction that the Captain was watching. From apparently nowhere, the Ex-Time Agent walked towards the group.

“Oh, you two make such a sweet couple,” Captain Jack Harkness teased, pointing at Mini and Curtis. “I could have watched this all day, but unfortunately there’s work to be done.”

He then addressed the group. “Those of you who didn’t meet me in person last night, nice to meet you. As you are probably aware by now, I’m Captain Jack Harkness of Torchwood. Now if you would all like to follow me, I’ll show you to our base.” He looked meaningfully in Curtis’ direction. “And you are coming with us. I think you need to be taught a lesson and given a fast reality check.” The Captain smirked a little. “Of course, if you refuse, I can just call my colleague Gwen over and have you arrested for theft. I’m pretty certain if we do enough digging, we can find all sorts of interesting things on you. As it is, Curtis Silva, we already have watched you in this area for three days now.” If that hadn’t sparked Curtis' interest, Jack didn’t know what would.

The man started to walk away, casually gesturing over his shoulder for them all to follow him. Making their way along past the plaza area, the Captain led them down a small path to the edge of Cardiff Bay. Waves of water could be heard sloshing against the beams of the walkway, just below them to one side. “As there are so many of you, I’m afraid we’ll be taking the less impressive entrance,” Jack Harkness explained, as he stopped outside a tiny tourist information centre. He opened the door for them, gesturing them all inside.

Inside, there was nothing remarkable to see. It was just what you would expect from tourist information – boards on the walls, filled with notices and advisements for various events happening around the bay, and an information desk, stacked with papers and brochures. Leaflets on Cardiff stood neatly organised, displayed out in front of them, and there were more brochures, leaflets and maps of the area displayed on stands, inviting people to pick them up and look through them. A computer stood on one end of the desk, a clock on the wall just behind it. No one appeared to be around.

The Captain just stood by the door, folding his arms and waited to see if anyone would say anything.

Chimaera - Tiny Tourist Booth - How...?

Nice to meet you. Chimaera squeaked. Mr Captain Jack was quite handsome.
Chimaera shoved herself into the smallest corner as far away from Mini and Ivy as she could possibly get. I have a few questions Mr. Captain Jack. She looked at him hopefully, How do we all fit in here? There's an awful lot of us. She tilted her head. Is there a kitchen in the base? And why did you bring him instead of just giving him to the police? Aren't you supposed to?

Mini ignored Jack, she did not really care whether her face was going to be broadcast across the world on the internet. It was a silly thing to be afraid of, so the threat hung empty in the air and blew completely over her head. She instead gave Chimaera a strange look. The woman was confusing to her, and the "bobby" comment meant nothing to her. The only comment that was of remote interest to her was the most alleging. "What?" she demanded of Curtis confused by his accusation of Theodore, ignoring on his comment of how "appealing" he was. That was more of a joke to her, he was not appealing at all, and she rather liked responsible, trustworthy men instead of hopeless thieves.

Specialist Hays put up his hands in defense. "Hey!" he said, insulted. "Leave me out of this! It was just a bit fun. It's not like Monster Mini is capable of love after all. She wouldn't even be able to to ask for a name!" He began to laugh, only to stop once Mini began walking toward him. There was anger in her eyes, and her fist was ready to knock someone out. "Oh come on Gunny! It was a joke, what's wrong with a little joke every now and then?" The gunnery sergeant did not stop walking towards him. But luckily, before she could box his ears in Captain Harkness arrived!

Mini glared at him as well. Why couldn't people just drop this silly idea of she and Curtis going out. He was dishonorable! Mini wouldn't even dream of dating a man like that, or any man for that matter. She only grunted, watching everyone with a sneer. She knew that it was already too late. No one would ever stop bothering her about this alleged "love" now. To make things worse the thief was actually going to be with them for the rest of the mission! Mini groaned, "Is he really?" she complained, "Because I honestly think he's better off rotting in jail." Mini gave him another glare as she said this. Theo took this moment to butt in, "It's alright Mini, I know you cannot simply cannot live with him." The Specialist gave Mini an innocent grin. "Really Hays? Just like you cannot live without my exercise routines?" Theo's grin then disappeared.

They had arrived at some sort of tourist information center which, as Captain Harkness had accurately described, was less than impressive. It was tiny, bland, and dull. As Theo walked inside to look at some leaflets, Mini stood outside wondering what the hell they were doing here when she heard Chimaera question on how they were all going to fit inside there. "If you can fit more than ten people in a helicopter that can only hold eight than certainly we can all fit inside this center" she said simply.

-Jack Bowman Tourist Office-

Jack sighted and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Ah people, how can you be so think? Haven’t you guys seen any James Bond movies?” He shook his head talking in a belittling manner. “We are talking about a secret organization, meaning there has to be a secret entrance.” He said, and started to look around in the office like the eager-beaver he was, probably expecting extra points being so smart. He filed through the leaflets, pulling out a couple and putting them back. Then he checked the clock on the wall if it goes right. “Maybe it’s under the counter.” He muttered, and climbed over the desk to see under the tabletop.

~Curtis James Silva and Emerald Marie Ivy~ Roald Dahl Pass, Torchwood Office, Cardiff

‘Oh what now!’ Curtis was internally throwing a temper tantrum like a small child would and he swore that half the swear words that were running through his head did not actually exist in the English language. Not only did nothing seem to be going his way, but now the threat of being put away seemed more real, ‘And he’s been watching me… He knows my name.’ This Torchwood was definitely dangerous if they could find out that kind of information so quickly, especially since Curtis had not used his real name in public for quite some time now. Curtis crossed his arms, casually tucking the little notepad thing away, and followed as far behind the group as possible. ‘Mistake… No choice but to run if the opportunity presents itself.’

Curtis glances at the, well if he were going to title it, the most boring information booth ever. ‘Maybe Torchwood is not to great after all, just have to work on my getaway.’ “Is this it?” Curtis could not help but mutter, glancing at the Captain.

Ivy frowned slightly, apparently it was time. She followed behind the others starring at the room. She glanced over at Jack and nodded, if Captain Jack was like the Doctor fellow then this place was definitely more than it seemed. "I don't think it would be under a counter, not everyone would want to have to drop under a desk daily. If this place is what you think, then I would say that the door would have to be somewhere a bit more conventional."
