I knew my first reading of that statement was on target. Swetini was practically dangling the thing in front of us trying to get us to take it.

Anyhoo, I've ready some Gaiman. I swear the difference though between Good Omens which he wrote with Terry Pratchet and American Gods was jarring to say the least.

Sadly I haven't read any of Gaiman's works...those are still on my 'huge pile of books that I haven't read but need to' list.

But I'm going to have a look along my bookshelves and see what other books Lily could reference :p

I'm trying to find part 2&3 of the sandman series.

I've got 1,4,5 & 6 and I don't wanna read 4,5 and 6 before 2 & 3.

Trag, our characters won't actually like each other much. Mine will see your's as slightly arrogant and too much of a risk taker with adults, they will think she has no sense of self-preservation and seek to avoid her to keep themselves safe. Plus, she seems like an adult to them, a figure of authority that would bring the hammer down and destroy what is left of them.

Hey Sam, may I suggest a trail for the children to overcome?

Quin, read the Darren Shan Saga, it's amazing. Almost anything by Stephen King is decent and if you're into manga read Saiyuki and Saiyuki Reload if you like gore, violence and cursing. As well as some mild suggestive themes. It's rated 16+.

Oh there will be plenty of trials. I'm still in the process of figuring them out, but there will be trials. I might have to tinker with them to fit each character's individual personalities though, but I'll think of something.

Meanwhile, the next post will be up soon (this afternoon or tommorow). I will be sending you guys down to where the "door" is, and we'll move on from there ;D

I think we're ready.

Ah ha ha, I love it. Ren is such a magnet for these sort's of situations. I'd dive right into my response but I want to find out what if anything he see's through the door since I don't think anyone stopped him from doing that much. Plus it'll give you and everyone else a chance to catch up Mellow.

Seriously? D: wow, people missed out. I practically grew up with Diana Wynne Jones' books..."Charmed Life" still remains one of my favourite childhood books.

Really good, but you can't see how they're connected until the last book

I can't recognize most of the book either of you mentioned, except the obvious ones, and Deep Secret. I actually read that one, lost it, and by pure chance you reminded me of it's dang title that I've been trying to remember forever. Animorphs consumed most of my childhood which is probably why I missed much of that.

Ok. Sounds good. I might read them...but first I really want to read 'The House of Many Ways' - I need more Howl...

The House of many ways is quite new, I think. And yep, I've read Castle In the Air too.

Tragedy? Have you left the entrance room yet or are you in the basement with everyone else?

With everyone else. Katy is in the same room as Mr. Swetini, which is the basement.
