For a man like Max prestige would not matter so much, so I guess it also says a-lot about character.

Our characters may also be speaking to each other in native tongue in some circumstances, and Max would appreciate it in fact. He likes to speak more German then he does English, seeing as he has the accent and all...

Name: Andrea “Andy” Kenners.

Age: 19

Gender: Female.

Nationality: American raised in England.

Appearance: Of about 5’5’’ and weighting 120 lbs, Andy gives a “light” impression most of the times; while definitely not waif-weak, she doesn’t look like a body builder that is for sure. Of fair skin and slightly-past-the-shoulder length light brown hair, one might be a little inclined to joke about her health sometimes, as she tends to look a little tired or sleep deprived. As expected from that description, her face is marked by sharp lines, light green big, expressive eyes and both a diminutive nose and mouth.

In terms of clothing, she isn’t particularly picky; her tastes, considered by herself to be pretty regular, range from simple skirts to shorts, or pants if the situation is required. She likes jackets, but mostly those with a low cut, which is maybe the only particular detail she likes to add on her looks. That and her trademark ponytail, which starts rather high on her head. Her Exorcist Uniform tends to reflect her tastes in clothing, but she doesn’t have an issue with wearing whatever is available.

Personality: Andy doesn’t “mind” most things, really, what many people would usually consider to be an emotionally numb girl is actually just a no-nonsense very strict person with a huge lack of interest towards nearly anything around her, which in return causes her to be rather private about her emotions. Make no mistake, her lack of interest doesn’t make her a social recluse; in order to survive in the world she had set a number of “priorities” of things she must follow to the best of her ability in order to, in her own words, “be left alone”. This lineaments are Killing Akuma, Keeping Civilians Out Of Harm’s Way, Keeping Other Exorcists Out of Harm’s Way, Keeping Herself Out of Harm’s Way and finally Socializing…pretty much in that order. When asked about something, she would answer back exactly what was asked; rarely add anything else to make a working conversation. She can and will start some on her own, but mainly in order to keep one of the lineaments already mentioned in order; other Exorcists should be ready to be asked about physical output, regular health inquires, mental state and even about their romantic life. She doesn’t have much tact when dealing with people, and is usually confused by overly emotional, funny talking people.

But hey, she is a person in the end, and she also needs to communicate all her feelings and thoughts in a way or another. In Andy’s case, she keeps a diary with ridiculously long and detailed entries about her day, which is actually a constant ritual of observation and silence, interrupted now and then by some of the overly friendly Exorcists, or anyone that finds her “cute”; something she can’t really help to question herself internally. She carries a notebook everywhere she goes. She has “episodes” of a more intense isolationism, usually related to things that make her think of her family, or when she fails at being impassive and gets emotional.

Quirks/Talents: Andy is a remarkable analyst, capable of making strategies and solving logical problems in record times; this derives to a weird passion –she doesn’t really think of it in that way- for chess, and probably holds an undefeated mark for God knows how long. Actually, games of deduction and logic are among the few things that can interest her; give her a chess board as a gift and you’ll have win her for good.

Her apathetic behavior goes to the point that she is usually unaffected by situations that most people would consider embarrassing, such as being seen naked, intrusion of her personal space, physical contact, and a long etc list.

Her eyes are usually the only way to tell how she is feeling, and believe me, they are truly “that” expressive; those bright green eyes are also the guilty ones that raise her cuteness factor to the skies.

Innocence Type: Equipment.

Innocence Details: Juuchi Yosamu (10 ,000 Cold Nights) & Yawarakai-Te (Tender Hands). Andy’s Innocence manifested as two “twin” katanas, named after both Muramasa’s and Masamune’s masterpieces. For simplicity’s sake, Andy refers to them as Juu and Yawa. Juu is completely black, and Yawa is the exact opposite (completely white, that is). Each blade itself is 6’5’’, and with the handle it reaches 7 feet and a little more. There is no command to activate them, but saying their names works just as well. When activated, the scabbards, which are of a simple base color, become covered with several patterns; Juu’s resemble snakes and other reptilians, while Yawa’s birds or feathers. “Unsheathing” is a way to put it, but due to the length of the blades, they actually phase through the scabbards.

The katanas can only be unsheathed while activated, and she can currently unsheathe one at the time. Andy has described the activation of the katana as “becoming an extension of my body”.

Juuchi Yosamu is the Dark Blade, and it’s…blood lusty, to put it in a way. Upon unsheathing, the leather wrapped on the handle is released and wraps around Andy’s arm (she wields it on her left hand). The blade, to put it in a simple way, cuts through nearly everything, provided it has a good momentum on it; this is the result of the blade apparently vibrating at insane rates, a natural dark aura that emits, which creates a super sharp edge. Juuchi Yosamu affects Andy’s mind, making her more battle-focused, reckless about her safety, and if activated long enough she would start seeing everything and everyone as an enemy; this is an indicator she hasn’t truly learned to control the blade. She has strict orders of not using it unless it’s necessary, and keeping it active for longer than five minutes is health-threatening, to put it in a way, as it also “hurts” her mind; her episodes of isolationism tend to coincide with the uses of Juu.

Yawarakai-Te is the Light Blade. Suffice to say, it doesn’t hurt Andy in any way. The main characteristic of Yawa is that it can only cut impurity; Innocence bearers aren’t getting hurt at all, but anything remotely impure will; the severity of the injury depending on how impure it is. On Akuma, Yawa works wonders.

Background: Andrea’s like doesn’t start with her birth, but with a huge fire that destroyed her home, killed her parents, siblings, maids, and everything she had come to love at the age of six. This was, obviously, the reason why little Andy shut down her emotions towards others to begin with. The fact it has been the Akuma raiding the place that prompted the destruction of her house was irrelevant until she turned ten, and her view of the world widened a little from being completely isolated. By then she had moved to England with the brother of her mother, who was pretty much the black sheep of the family.

The man, Kendrick “Ken”, Kenners –yeah, he had a lot of good times being bullied- was a relic hunter, and the one that nicknamed Andy; besides his hobby of getting into places where he shouldn’t, Ken had some ties with the Black Order, usually aiding them to figure out uses for Innocence; that was more than enough reason to be a target of Akuma.

He trained the girl about weapons, fighting disciplines, and life, surprised to see her willingness to fight for herself, and would usually took the girl on expeditions; it was in one of those that they ran into some level 1 Akuma that were actually going to his place, who of course attacked them, in an effort to keep her safe, Ken threw the girl inside of a cave, scarifying himself in the process. His efforts were futile, since the Akuma went after Andy anyway. But fate was already at work; deep down the cave Andy ran into the Innocence, and out of blind rage synched with it, activating Juuchi Yosamu and attacked them. She was later found by a General in the brink of death, the sword still feeding of her, and was taken to the Black Order. She was thirteen at that time.

Andy has spent the last six years with the Black Order, and since the very beginning she has been quite the active member, always travelling everywhere and putting herself in the front lines. Her name is more or less familiar with many exorcists by now, although she hasn’t really made much of a close friendship with anyone. Yet..

So, I went with a pseudo-parasitic Innocence item; u liek? Just decided to put this out there, since I think the Innocence now is more acceptable now.

Name: Tabitha 'Tabith' Bodkin

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Nationality: English

Appearance: Tabith is of an average height and weight, appropriate for his age. He has long, slender fingers, befitting that of a dressmaker's (but without any of the skills) which have several scars from accidents Tabith had in his training to become a seamstress. His eyes are dark brown in color and his hair, shoulder-length and tied in a pony tail to the left side of his head, is a crimson red. His skin is fair, a result of a healthy lifestyle, but with a few scars and scratches all over his body; results from training and field missions Tabith has undertaken as an Exorcist.

Tabith's Exorcist uniform has slightly been changed from the original; the coat worn over the body has been changed to resemble a swallow-tail coat. Tabith's civilian clothes is never the same, but can be described as being similar to a nobleman's usual everyday attire. At all times, Tabith always wears a long cloak for the sake of his Innocence's power.

Personality: Tabith has a very friendly personality; he's quick to warm up to strangers and he's not one to hold many grudges with others, but is very hard on himself when it comes to his own shortcomings. He's a sensitive kind of guy. Tabith is also a very devout Christian and adheres to its rules and traditions closely, which led to him becoming an obedient servant of the Black Order.

Despite his lavish tastes and striking style, Tabith has a very 'homely' personality which leads others to forget about his looks. He's very accommodating of others and does not mind taking care of someone else's needs, which makes it easy for people to take advantage of him. But Tabith knows enough to not let others walk over, and when he feels that someone is abusing his kindness, Tabith is quick to show his anger.

Quirks/Talents: Tabith has a tendency to live an 'excessive' life. To put it in simple terms, he's prone to biting off more than he can chew. From ordering too much food, to spending too much time in the bath, Tabith just doesn't know when to stop. It's not that he really wants that much; it's just that he doesn't know when something is enough. This doesn't carry over to his fights, though; Tabith is smart enough to know when he can or cannot take on an opponent.

Tabith also has a small complex about his name; not that he's ashamed of having a girl's name, but that he may not be able to live up to his ancestor, the motherly, Biblical figure of Tabitha. He tries to act sensitive and caring, but since he doesn't know when enough is enough, he often comes out as being very overbearing and, generally, a bit creepy to those who don't know him.

Innocence Type: Equipment

Innocence Details:
-Name: Dorcas Thread
Tabith's Innocence is called the Dorcas Thread and, unsurprisingly, is contained within the form of a thread. It's primary attribute is that of reinforcement; it can be sewn into anything to reinforce the object and, potentially, turn it into a lethal anti-akuma weapon.

When it is not in use, it's kept tied up as a ball. To invoke it, Tabith has to shout out, "Get up, Dorcas!" Once its power has been called out, the ball quickly unravels and floats around Tabith, acting like a shawl. The innocence by itself in this form is quite weak and can be easily broken; its true power manifests itself when it enters other objects. For this purpose, Tabith always goes around wearing a long cloak so that it may act as a container for the innocence. Once it has entered the cloak, it becomes hard enough to resist most Akumas' attacks and can be manipulated by the Thread into shapes to attack enemies with. When the Dorcas Thread reinforces an object, the image of a Gazelle's head, colored in white, appears, an allusion to the meaning of the name 'Dorcas'.

Tabith's favorite method of attack is to turn the cloak's edges into sharp blades to attack Akumas with, but also uses the Dorcas Thread to turn the cloak into shields and armors when needed.

Background:
Tabith came from a rich family which made its fortune through dressmaking. They are descendants of the Biblical figure, Tabitha, a seamstress who made clothes for the people of her village, specifically for widows, single mothers. They were poor, destitute women who, because of their lack of a husband, was treated harshly by society. Tabitha made clothes for them, but to Tabith's family, that would be an insult to her family. To them, Tabitha not only made clothes, but created wonderful, beautiful clothing for them to wear.

Tabitha was able to accomplish all of her work through the use of a seemingly magical thread; the innocence 'Dorcas Thread'. Though she was not able to tap into its power, she was able to use it to create wonderfully intricate clothing the likes of which have never been seen before. When she finally died, this thread was passed down to every first child of her lineage and, in honor of their memory, the eldest child of each generation was named Tabitha and it was to this child that the thread was passed to. The thread was used as a symbol, a good luck charm for the child who would be trained in the art of dressmaking, and it was true that each child who possessed the thread would be endowed with a miraculous talent in the craft. It was because of that thread that the Bodkin family was able to become one of the wealthiest families, their dress designs always being one of the latest and most popular fashions in England.

Tabith was not the first born child of his family.

The eldest child, Tabith's elder sibling, had died in the womb, along with his mother, the previous holder of the name. Tabith was the first child of his father's second wife, one out of seven. Tabith was given the name Tabitha by his father to continue his previous wife's tradition, but he was not given the Thread because he was not of the original bloodline.

As Tabith grew up, he displayed no talent for sewing at all; he could not even come up with any designs (though he did display an eye for it). His younger siblings did, however, possessed impressive skills in their family's handicraft, and it seemed like one of them would have inherited the thread instead of Tabith. That was when Tabith met the Earl of Millennium.

Tabith's father, having never gotten over his first wife's death, had kept his sorrow to himself over the years. It was then that the Earl came to him and offered to bring back his wife. Unable to think for himself, Tabith's father accepted immediately. But there was a condition; the Earl wanted the Thread in exchange for bringing back his wife. For a long time, Tabith had wished to obtain the Thread for himself; he believed that, if he had it, he would gain all the skills the previous Tabithas of his family had and that he would be able to overcome his shame. Maybe it was fate, or maybe it was just plain luck, but on the night Tabith tried to steal the thread from the room it was kept in, he found his father offering it up to some kind of fat, old man; the Earl. As soon as the Earl took it, he produced a horrifying skeleton out of nowhere and gave it to Tabith's father. He heard his father say his mother's name, and the skeleton came to life. Tabith saw his father's smiling face change to dread and shock when the skeleton killed and skinned him, taking on his father's appearance.

The Earl, apparently finished with his task, was about to leave, Tabith leaped out of his hiding place and took the Thread away from him before running away. The Earl tried to chase him, but for some reason decided to leave Tabith alone. Tabith ran for a long time, out of his house and onto the streets, before he came upon a man garbed in dark clothing. The man was a General of the Black Order, an Exorcist. He had been drawn to Tabith's home, sensing the presence of innocence there. When the man tried to take the Thread away from Tabith, telling him that it would be the only way to keep him safe, Tabith fought and struggled to keep it for himself. In the process, Tabith resonated with the innocence and the Exorcist saw that Tabith was a prospective Innocence-user.

The man explained everything to Tabith, who took it all in, and, after having his family informed, was taken to the Black Order to be trained as an Exorcist. Tabith was 18 when all this happened, and has been an Exorcist for barely a year. His skills in sewing and dress design still haven't improved.

Name: Leonardo Jeanne-Paul Rivera AKA Leo

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Nationality: USA, Florida

Appearance: Half Cuban, a quarter black and a million other fractions, Leo has a diverse heritage. He spends most of his time indoors poring over books or on the computer screen, as a result his eyesight has degraded to the point where he can't walk through a hallway without tripping. He wears frameless rectangular glasses, their craftmanship so exquisite it'd be hard to notice them at all. Were it not for his heritage, Leo probably would have ended up a very pale person, instead he has rich caramel-colored skin. His head is closely shaved, his black hair kept to a minimum while still being clearly noticeable. Couple all this with a straight jawline and narrow black eyes, Leo can be a somewhat intimidating fellow to meet in a dark street. Still, the glasses and the general pathetic state of his physique are enough to give away Leo's weakness. He was not meant for personal fighting.

Personality: Leo is fairly bad at expressing his emotions. Of course he has them just as much as anyone else, but his face won't budge an inch for most circumstances. That's not to say Leo doesn't express any emotion, he can be quite talkative with people, it's just that he won't follow it up with the gestures that most people are used to. Talk to him enough and you'll find out that Leo is a very reasonable man. He calculates things, thinks them through, plans a step ahead, etc. before doing something. He'll have the emotions everyone else will, but first and foremost, he'll think it through rationally. He'd almost be a robot if it weren't for the sense of humor he has. That is, as he reasons it, he likes being happy, and telling and hearing clever jokes makes him happy, thus he likes clever jokes. These jokes can be as small-minded as a simple pun or completely over-your-head complex , he enjoys the jokes that occur in everyday life, the humorous things that people take for granted. It's odd, funny and most importantly enjoyable to Leo these strange irrational things and he treasures them more than anything.

Quirks/Talents: Leo is very good with numbers, a math genius, in fact. He also has an excellent sense of time, his memory is fantastic, he is an expert chess player and a prodigy strategist. To put it shortly, Leo is smart. His expertise, though is with those mentioned above. He has, for fun, studied Law and several other subjects.

Combat-wise, Leo is not a weight-lifter, he is though quite fast, especially while running away.

Innocence Type: Equipment

Innocence Details: A simple black ballpoint pen of average size is Leo's Innocence. He calls it "Faustian's Cheat." It is somewhat old-fashioned, there is no spring mechanism that most pens come with today, but there is a cap that fits snugly onto the tip. The edges of the cap are inlaid with a thin line of gold and oddly there is no pin to hang onto a person's clothes. It is an almost uniformly black cylinder, completely unnoticeable. The only strangeness that can be outwardly identified is the way the Faustian's Cheat refuses to reflect any light whatsoever. There is no arguing with the pen, it is an impenetrable black. Otherwise it can be easily mistaken for an ordinary pen. This however can lead to disastrous results.

The Cheat's has three powers: First it can write on any surface, the ink showing up as the same perfect darkness as the pen. Second, it will never run out of ink. Third is that whatever it write on will explode. The timing and power of the explosion depends on what and how much is written.

For example if Leo were to draw only a dot on a piece of paper, the explosion would be small and occur only a second after he were to draw it. However if Leo were to write a 5 on the piece of paper then after 5 seconds the paper would explode. Now if Leo had drawn that 5 to be the size of the entire paper then it would have a much larger and more powerful explosion. Now if Leo turned that paper around and started to fill the whole back page with a million tiny 5s, then even though the explosion countdown timer were to start ticking away as soon as he were to lift his pen off the paper, 5 seconds would be added to the timer after each drawn 5. So long as none of the written numbers were to intersect, Leo could write 5 till he filled out the whole page.

Finally, the Cheat's most powerful attack is if Leo were to write, in any size, his full name. The explosion is immense, capable of swallowing an entire city block. The timing is non-negotiable and cannot be added onto nor can the size of the explosion. The explosion takes 25 seconds after completion of the name, 1 second for each letter, the dash included. If Leo is unable to finish writing his name by taking more than a second in between letters, then the explosion is determined by the amount of ink used and occurs immediately. Technically, due to the inability to add on explosive power, it is not truly the Cheat's most powerful ability, but it's much faster then writing 9 on every inch of a wall.

Because of the particularities of his Innocence, a few oddities is forced upon Leo. He can write over 600 letters in a minute (10 letters a second) in perfect Times New Roman, font size 12. He always has a pack of post-it notes, as well as a deck of playing cards, specifically designed to be thicker so that they are easier to throw.

Background: Leo is fairly new to the exorcist business. He had spent most of his life in Florida shying away from the glorious sun down there, ignoring the waves of rowdy youths during spring break or the fantastic beaches. Instead he, his family and those interested in his talents deigned to keep him inside, working on complex math formulas, doing work that no one else could do. For example, just for fun, he studied Law. That's the kind of life Leo has led so far. But Leo happened across some innocence and it just so happened to be compatible to him. Though he finds it odd, Leo is compelled both by some inexplicable force to fight against the Akuma as well as the simple reasoning that the end of the world is something that must be stopped.

Okay, before I do any approvals I'll be doing a final round of critiques for apps posted recently just to resolve any last issues I see.

Alright, here is the approved list. I know this approval pool is smaller than my previous rp, but the numbers in Bleach were a bit overwhelming at times so I'm starting with a small group. I will be opening signs ups again later in the game in case those who didn't make it in this time wish to try again.

Dan Ripp - Cheesemore
Nguyen Kha - Imenak
Clark Hoffman - Mastermind001
Cecilia Westingworth - Hana
Francis Delmonte Lencster - Ro Wong
Jasbar Singh - Wazit
Danika Rosenzweig - Yumeko
Andrea “Andy” Kenners. - Aura
Leonardo Jeanne-Paul Rivera - BobSagat

After reading the acceptance list, I've remembered soemthing that will help you with your RP. Ro Wong informed us in, well every RP he was in. That he messed up his knee and is having connection problems so he wont be on anytime soon.
Dunno how long he plans on taking a break though....wonder how he screwed up his knee....

Here's the quote from a friend Ro sent:
AIR wrote:I am not a player: I am just relaying a message from another RPer here. Ro Wong has been having problems with his right knee and will not be around as much due to connection problems.

And I'd just like to affirm, I am not saying this in the hopes that I may be accepted, I just thought I'd help pass on the info, seeing as how you accepted him.

Alright, here's a list of the NPC characters, which includes the Branch Chief, Science Chief and Generals. I'll be posting this in the main post on the first page as well.

Chiefs

Irene Fortner – The current leader of the British Branch of the Black Order. She’s a serious woman who takes her duties as the most important part of her life. She works hard to earn the respect of everyone in The Order because she is the first female leader it has had in history. She comes off as cold to many who don’t know her well.

Cyrus Dacre – The head of the science division of the main headquarters of the black order. Like anyone working there, he’s more than a little eccentric. He’s constantly trying to redesign the exorcist uniforms into something more ‘aesthetically pleasing’ (ie: he wants to put the girls into mini skirts). He only sometimes gets his way. He is passionate about his work though and will often act like a big brother for the exorcists of the order. He enjoys teasing Irene because he claims if someone doesn’t her face will freeze into that serious look. He’s a fully qualified seamstress and makes a mean cup of tea.

The Generals

Alessandra Dominique – Hailing from Italy, Alessandra has beenwith the Black Order for quite a few years and has been a prominent figure in their politics due to her open and honest nature. She treats her disciples as if they were her own children, offering encouragement and advice during their training. She is often compared to the Pied Piper with her innocence weapon being a pipe that can offer various effects in a battle, from taking control of akuma to boosting the strength of other exorcists. But despite being considered the gentlest of the generals the other three seem to somewhat… scared of her. She’s very physically affectionate as well, having no qualms about sweeping her ‘children’ into bonecrushing hugs or kissing their heads/foreheads/cheeks. There is no such thing as personal space for Alessandra.

Indiira Break – Hailing from the east, Indiira is the youngest general of the four. He is an albino with quite the ghostly appearance. As a master to disciples he’s considered a bit of a demon, relentlessly driving his students until they drop from exhaustion. He has a bit of a short temper and will mercilessly cut down anyone either with his weapons or with his words. Due to this his students have tendency to have terrible memories of him. His weapon is a parasitic innocence focused in his nails. But despite being an excellent warrior, Indiira is a bit…odd. He never uses doors, usually refuses to sleep indoors unless there’s some extreme weather happening. Many times this behavior combined with his ghostly appearance has given rise to tales of ghosts wherever he goes.

Thomas Finch – Hailing from Wales, Thomas is probably the one who looks least like an exorcist. The most apt word to describe him with is scrawny followed shortly by the word tall. He looks resembles a librarian more than he does a foremost general of the black order. He’s a practical man, though quite easily distracted. He is however a strict teacher with a tendency to whack unruly disciples on the head with whatever book he happens to be carrying with him at the moment. His innocence takes the form of a puzzle box that has incredible defensive and offensive capabilities. A complete bibliophile, if one opens the door to his quarters at any given time they’ll be crushed under an avalanche of books.

Folami Kaur – Coming from southern Africa, Folami is of mixed race. He’s the most physically intimidating of the generals standing over six feet tall with dark skin, however despite his looks he is a kind soul. He is rather quiet and seems melancholic when he is met with some of the disciples of the order. He has worked with the order concerning experiments on creating a greater chance of synchronization. Folami is however a force to be reckoned with in battle. He fights with a lance and shield. His hair is rather… unruly. Unleashed from its hair tie his hair will explode with frizziness, a fact that irritates.
