D. Gray-Man: The Black Order

At the end of a fictional 19th century tragedy is on the rise. In the darkness of the night the Millennium Earl works to build his army of Akuma so that he might be able to bring around the next Great Flood which will destroy humanity. The only hope for humanity lies with the Exorcists of the Black Order who fight with innocence.

But in the face of the army of darkness that lie before them will they be able to summon up their strength and conquer the obstacles in their paths?

This is a D. Gray-Man rp. Much like the series itself the characters will be exorcists or members of the Black Order who will fight against the Millennium Earl, the Noah Clan and of course the akuma. However the plot will not copy the original. The only two characters who will be the same as the original series will be Helvaska and, of course, The Earl himself.

Player characters will be exorcists of the order, all recruited by the Generals who wander the world searching out new warriors for their unending battle. Some might uninitiated to the ways of battle while others might have been in a few battles. Depending on the strength of your character as well as your playing ability your character will develop new abilities as they fight.

Terms to Know

Exorcists – Warriors who fight against the Earl and the akuma using Innocence weapons in order to protect the world. They have special privileges granted by their uniforms but are also walking targets for akuma. Also called accommodators.

Innocence - A strange material left by an ancient civilization which, if compatible with a person, can form into the weapons Exorcists use to stop the Earl. The Earl's plan is to prevent the revival of the Innocence by searching for a special piece of Innocence called "Heart"; once he destroys it, the rest of the Innocence will also be destroyed. There are 109 units of Innocence scattered throughout the world.

Anti-Akuma weapons - Weapons made out of converted Innocence used to destroy Akumas. All exorcists are equipped with anti-Akuma weapons. There two different types of anti-akuma weapons currently: Equipment type and Parasitic type.

Equipment type – The most common form of innocence. The innocence is forged into an external weapon that can bear various abilities and depending on the synchronization level of the accommodator can evolve stronger attack abilities.

Parasitic type – The rarest form of innocence. The innocence is a part of the accommodator’s body. When it isn’t invoked it appears like a normal part of a human body, albeit deformed. Users of parasitic types have a higher level control over their innocence but at the cost of having a shorter lifespan than other exorcists. They can also heal internal blood bullet infections. They also have high metabolisms which require them to eat much more than an average person.

The Black Order - The Black Order is an organization that works to defeat the Millennium Earl and his army of Akuma. It has ties to the Vatican and many world governments.

Akuma - The main army of the Earl of Millennium are creatures called akuma. These monsters are created when a person dies and a loved one is unable to let go of that person. At that point the Millennium Earl will appear and offer them a way to ‘ressurect’ their loved one. Once the soul is bonded to the akuma skeleton it’s too late for the summoner who is killed so the Akuma has a skin to wear. From that point the akuma is completely under the control of the Earl.

Level 1 – A large spherical ball covered in cannons. They have no sentient ability and follow orders. They are armed with blood bullets which carry a virus which is deadly to anything living. The infection is shown as dark purple stars spreading over the body followed by the entire body crumbling to dust.

Level 2 – After a level 1 akuma reaches a certain number of kills they will evolve into a new form. Capable of sentient thought they have higher combat abilities. They have no common appearance and no common abilities.

Just please be original with this and don’t try and take advantage of this to give your character an unfair advantage.)

Innocence Type: (Equipment or Parasite type; Note that I will not be accepting very many parasite types as in canon they are rare; Also should be noted that I would prefer that only more experienced rpers try for parasite types.)

Nationality: Italian,

Appearance: Dante is about 6ft, and is quite pale. He has blood red eyes, which are quite obvious against his pale skin. He has short, slicked back black hair, which is usually covered by a black top hat. Before he was an exorcist, he belonged to the Mob, so his uniform has been modified to resemble a mobster suit. Complete with a tie, striped coat, pants, and cigar (Cigar he provides himself)

Personality: Dante likes to think himself a comic, cracking jokes whenever he can. When it comes to fighting however, he turns into a true mobster, taking no prisoners, taking down akuma without mercy. Although he enjoys killing the servants of the Earl, he feels remorse for the souls Akuma use as fuel. He is fiercely loyal to the Order and to his teammates, all traits he took from his days a mobster, and will never leave anyone in need behind.

Quirks/Talents: Dante has a talent for taming dangerous animals. In fact, he usually has an emperor scorpion sitting on his shoulder, that crawls into his sleeve during fights. To protect both him and the scorpion, he usually creates a small shield of his iron blood around it during the fights.

Innocence Type: Parasite

Innocence Details: Poison veins: Dante’s innocence has melded with his veins, and gives him three main abilities.

Poison insects: A swarm of Dark matter seeking bees are generated from the vein’s and attack any source of Dark matter in the general area. This is used more for distracting an enemy then as an actual attack. The bugs are actually solidified blood that took the form of insects. There venom is full of innocence, which is why they can damage the akuma.

Scorpion whip: Blood leaks from the veins in Dante’s wrist, and take the form of a whip what resembles a scorpion’s tail. The tip is filled with liquid innocence, which damages any source of dark matter upon contact.

Iron blood: Dante can generate blades from his veins, which can be used for short ranged attacks on akuma.

(Note: The use of any of his abilities causes Dante great pain, so he usually doesn’t use all three in one battle, two is usually the max. Ex: Poison insects and iron blood. Also, Because Scorpion whip and Iron blood are still attached to Dante, he doesn’t actually lose blood from using them, unless they are destroyed. As from the case of poison insects, he can use it up to 5 times before he starts to weaken from blood lose.

Background: Dante was a high ranking mobster in his home town on Venice. As a young child, Dante’s veins constantly popped out and burned, and he was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. Taking this a sign to life his life to the fullest, Dante became one of the most notorious mobsters in all of Italy. Then one day, his veins burned like they had never before. A few days before, one of the mob member’s mother died, and he had not been seen a in a few days. That day, the member returned, and suddenly transformed into an akuma, killing his entire gang, turning its sights on him. Just as it was about to attack him, a swarm of bees burst from his wrists and attacked the akuma, giving Dante the chance to escape. In pain, and extremely confused, Dante wandered Italy for days, until finally, a, exorcist general found him, and taught him to control his powers, telling him about the Black Order. He took him to HQ, and that is when Dante became an exorcist, vowing to avenge his fallen friends.

Name: Adelbert Sigi (Adel for short)

Age: 17

Nationality: Germany

Appearance: Adel is a muscular yet lanky teenager. He has semi-long dirty blond hair that looks as if it hasn't seen a comb for a long while . He wears a plain black unbuttoned vest over a long sleeve t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his upper arm, a pair of khaki pants, and mens dance shoes.

Personality: Being the excitable type Adel is always getting into trouble. He has an infectious happiness about him which is usually what gets him out of all the trouble. he is very oblivous sometimes to the way someone acts or what they say. However when fighting he gets serious and will always continue forward even if the chips are down.

Quirks/Talents: Adel is gifted in dance. He is a natural in most any type of dancing and loves to dance. whenever he's doing nothing his feet will jitter and eventually he'll be straight out dancing for the sake of dancing.

Innocence type: Equipment
Innocence details: Himmelfaust (heaven's fist) are gloves that have a half-moon blade over the knuckles and two short blades coming out from the side of the fist. When not in use the two blades become flexible and fold onto the sides of his wrist and the half-moon blade flips over to the back of his hand, in both cases the fit into grooves so as not to get in the way. The only ability that it has at the moment is it can kill Akuma.

Background: Adel lived with his parents till he was 5 and they were killed by mobsters, after that he became a street urchin and lived off the street along with all the other street urchins. One day when he was 16 an akuma began rampaging around the streets killing people. Adel got scared and ran and hid in an alley and listened as he heard people screaming and dying. A man appeared and began to tell Adel about the akuma and that if he wanted to stop it he would have to fight and kill it. The man then handed Adel a pair of gloves and told him to put them on. doing what he was told he put them on blades sprung out and before Adel could ask any questions the man was gone. and so Adel fought and killed the akuma. After that he found in his clenched fist a note describing the gloves and giving a location of a place called the black order. Deciding this was were he should go Adel began a one year journey to the black order never thinking to look back.

I'll be waiting for more apps before I post up any critiques. In the meantime here's my main regular exorcist character.

Name: Erin Morston

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Nationality: British

Appearance: Standing in at 5’10 with a slim figure, Erin cuts a somewhat dashing figure with straight black hair pulled back into a low ponytail and deep brown eyes. She has almost no aura of femininity to her, instead radiating an infectious tomboyish energy that almost always leads to mischief. As far as feminine curves go, Erin has little definition in these areas a fact made worse by the fact that she wears clothes that hide almost all hints of the few curves she has. More often than not she is mistaken for a boy.

Ignoring the standard conventions of Victorian fashion she has never been seen wearing a dress. Instead she wears black slacks with suspenders and white button up shirts beneath her exorcist uniform. The coat itself is cut to fit like a naval pea-coat with two rows of silver buttons running up the chest as well as a pair of reinforced black boots with a steel toe. When in her full uniform she’s extremely androgynous.

Personality: Passionate might be an appropriate way to describe Erin’s personality. Her emotions are always strong no matter what she’s feeling. This strength of emotion can be a double edged sword depending on how she’s feeling. When she’s feeling confident then there is nothing in the world that can stop her, but likewise when she’s upset it is almost impossible to reason with her in conventional ways. Most of the time she has to work through her low points on her own since she doesn’t listen to others as well as she ought to. However she is a shining beacon of cheer in the usually somber ranks of the exorcists and she considers every member of the Black Order a sibling to her and will protect them with her life.

Quirks/Talents: She calls herself an admirer of beauty, and will not hesitate to compliment someone she finds attractive no matter what their gender is.

She absolutely refuses to wear dresses.

Innocence Type: Equipment

Innocence Details: “Templar Cross” Erin’s weapon takes the shape of a rapier. When it isn’t invoked the blade looks rusted and dull, more like an old family relic than a weapon mean for battle. The handle is plain with an unadorned guard. To invoke it, Erin presses the tip to the ground and says “Judge them with steel, Cross! At that point the blade becomes like new, no longer rusted. The guard becomes a red cross. The entire blade is meant more for thrusting attacks than slashing.

Point en line – A basic thrusting attack that carries a strong thrust that generally will leave a hole in a level 1-2 akuma

Point de croix – A special attack at with one thrust expels a blast of innocence energy into the akuma in the shape of a cross. Requires some preparation so it’s not a regular attack.


Background: Erin’s introduction to the Black Order could be considered rather mundane. As the daughter of a British official sent to tour the headquarters for the English branch of the order, Erin tagged along with her father. It was by chance that General Steist was there at the time and one of the shards of innocence he carried with him reacted to her. She was only twelve years old when she was inducted into The Order as an accommodator. She didn’t quite understand the ramifications of being accepted into the order as she’s only been back to her home five times since that day. As such she values every member of the order as family.

Ok, so it's Tuesday. I know I said Sunday/Monday, and I apologize that it's still not done.

Name: Dan Ripp

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Nationality: USA! USA!

Appearance: Dan is tall for his age, around 5’10. He has a large build, built from the years of hard manual labor on the farm. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He's not too bad looking, not too good either, but he has that country boy charm. Dan wears a worn jacket with a blue shirt and despite the fact that most people didn't have them, Dan does in fact own a pair of blue jeans that he wears under his standard uniform.

Personality: Dan you could say is well, they typical hick. Those horrible stereotypes about how they can't tell the difference between a paperweight and a phone, that's pretty much him. It's not his fault he grew up litterally in the middle of nowhere. But he's ever the curious one, wanting to know pretty much anything there is to know about these new fangled contraptions. Still, don't insult him being a hick, give him some credit. If he likes you, you'll be like family to him, and family sticks together no matter what. He's also quite chivalrous. Mama raised this boy right, he was taught never to harm a girl. Even though he had to kill his mom at point blank range, he still to this day refuse to harm any women (unless he's pushed to the brink again, but he might refuse even then).

Quirks/Talents: His main quirk is that, since he didn't grow up anywhere near a city, he's mostly new to technology. He hasn't got a clue how to work anything more advanced than a gun. All those nifty inventions like the typewriter and the telephone. No sir, he's never even seen a traffic light he was so far out in the middle of nowhere.

Innocence Type: Equipment.

Innocence Details: Name: Farmer's pride.

Type: Shotgun.

Abilities : 1) Normal abilites : Self explanitory, he can fire the gun using energy instead of bullets. The weapon is a typical shotgun though, he needs to be at point blank range, or it's accuracy is horrible. 2) Double Barrel : He can fire two shots at once. He mostly uses this shot when he can't get close enough to fire point blank. He feels that "If I fire two bullets, I'll have a better chance at hitting them.". Dan hasn't realized it yet, but double barrel actually had amazing accuracy at long range. To the point where it puts Sniper rifles to shame. Pretty much as long as he can see them, his Double Barrel shot actually is a homing shot for akuma. Again, he hasn't quite realized it yet. 3) At 50% Syncronization, his shotgun morphs into a standard single barell rifle. His power is slightly less, but the accuracy is greatly improved at greater distances. It also requires more energy to fire the shot, so he rarely has to go that high.

Appearance : Basic Design. When activated, it just becomes able to shoot. If other people tried to shoot his gun, they would never be able to pull the trigger. Dan has no holder for his shotgun, but he never puts it down except for sleeping and going to the bathroom.

Background: Dan grew up in rural North Dakota. Litterally in the middle of nowhere as far as most people are concerned. And he's ok with that. Being homeschooled and never having to go to town (water from their well, no electricity, all the food right there) he grew up mostly wondering what the outside world was like.

Well his wish would soon be granted, of course not the way he pictured it. Dan's mom died suddenly, his dad was emotionally distraught, and that's when the Earl showed up. Promicing to brind her back, and only needing him to call out her name. Dan tried to tell his dad not to, something just didn't seem right. But his dad wasn't listening to his son, and of course called out to her.

Same old same old after that, his mom came back as an Akuma, and killed his father. Paniced, Dan ran back into the house, desperate for anything. He pulled his grandfather's old shotgun off the mantle, but it felt different. Before he could check to see if it was loaded, his mother came into the house. It took all of his courage, but he managed to pull the trigger, but he did. Instead of the shell though, a beam of green energy shot out, hitting the akuma at point blank range, killing it instantly. Dan checked the barrel, found no shells.

Now utterly confused and alone, Dan decided he couldn't stay there, not with that strange man lurking somewhere near by. He began walking toward where his parents said the town was, after packing up what he had left of course. When he made it to town, he looked for any kind soul to help him. No one would believe his rediculous story about a strange man and a family member comming back from the dead though. Dan didn't give up though, he desperately searched for someone to believe him, finally someone did. An exorcist, following a rumor that the Earl was nearby, just happened to overhear him. After some interorgation and a long explination by Dan, the exorcist showed him the way to the order, and that's where he is today.

Looking forward to prospective CS's!

For now I'll put up critique's on the three apps up already. These are just suggested revisions and things to expand upon. Not required but... suggested. ^__^

As a general note: If your character discovers their ability in the midst of a fight, a general will usually be nearby and won't just dump you alone in the middle of nowhere and tell you to go to the Black Order without so much as a pat on the back. Cross did that because he was a douche. The other generals took on fledgeling exorcists as disciples and lead them to the order and teach them along the way.

Nelo - Okay, I'll be honest in saying your character's abilities confuse me greatly. It's a blood born ability that managed to generate bugs, causes great pain and has the potential for long range and close quarters combat. Where do the bugs come from? If his ability is contingent on removing blood from his body how long can he fight before becoming anemic? As for background, why did the Earl deign to attack the mob? It doesn't seem like a logical move to make since he's all for chaos and disruption of the law. Your talent might also go for some rethinking since toting a dangerous poisonous animal around inside your coat when you're going to be slammed, struck and thrown into extremely hard surfaces on a regular basis doesn't sound like that good of an idea.

Maverix - I'm intrigued by your character but I'd like to see some expansion on some parts. Himmelfaust sounds like an interesting weapon but how does it kill akuma? All anti-akuma weapons have a special ability from the start and 'it can kill akuma' is extremely vague. Your backstory might also warrant some revision since the Earl is generally a subtle figure. He doesn't usually let akuma rampage around slaughtering entire villages. If you could also add more detail to your appearance that would be awesome.


Cheese - It has potential, and even though it's not quite complete I'll offer some notes. Your weapon might use some fleshing out since 'wildly inaccurate' isn't very much to go by. You might want to increase accuracy for some special attacks. Also, what sort of ammo is used? Energy? Bullets? Appearance: Kha has short, black hair that extends upward about three to four inches from his head. Although they aren’t perfectly rigid or gelled up in anyway, his style of cut is often noted to be “spiky.” The hair one the sides of his head are faded, where the length of the hair graduals shortens as one moves down towards the neck, until the area is nothing more than an extremely close shave. His eyes are an unusually light-brown, and while they’re in direct light they looks almost yellow. Although one wouldn’t describe his facial characteristics to be ugly, he’s not exactly the most attractive guy either. He’s your average kind of guy whose personality is more of his appearance than his actual appearance (if that makes sense).

In terms of clothing, he’s always wearing his uniform, almost without exception. If he’s not, it’s because he’s in his sleeping clothes and getting ready for bed. In his life before being an exorcist, he used to own nothing more than old rags for clothes. His uniform and his pajamas are all that he knows in terms of dressing “normally,” so he doesn’t own any casual sets of clothes.

Personality: Kha is a bit odd at times. When others converse him, one gets the sense that there has to be something wrong with him. Of course, to those who know of his history, they fully understand it’s because he’s not used to interacting with people. Although he’s not new to the Order at all and thus has been around people for years, experiencing nearly a lifetime of solitude is not something you can easily condition away. Sometimes, he doesn’t immediately acknowledge those who are speaking to him. Sometimes he’ll acknowledge another with his eyes, but won’t actually speak until a long, awkward silence ensues. Other times, he’ll verbalize his inner thoughts or observations on a matter, or person, at hand, when it would’ve been best to keep such things to himself. He also violates social norms with great regularity, only to later mutter, “Ah… right, it’s uncomfortable for people when you are too close.”

Fortunately, when he’s actually conversing with someone, he can usually keep the conversation going along and completely normal. This is something that can probably be attributed to his extended stay with the Order. In fact, aside from the odd behavioral quirks mentioned above, he’s a relatively normal person. He has a completely normal set of likes and dislikes, has a sarcastic sense of humor, hates having too much hard work, treasures his friends, and enjoys speaking with his facial expressions and actions rather than words. He’s also a bit of a pessimist, and given the situation, can be unduly paranoid too.

Quirks/Talents: Kha tends to improperly elongate certain words (“I seeeeeeeeeeeeeee”), mispronounce many (“Where’s the spatch-OOOHH-la?”), use certain popular phrases completely wrong (“To the victor, we spoil”), and utter long “Uuuuuuhhhhhhsss….” to collect his thoughts.

Innocence Type: Equipment

Innocence Details: “The Maw of Lạc Long Quân,” often shortened to just “the Maw” – Kha’s ‘weapon’ actually comes in the form of a simple armored mouth-piece, not unlike one might expect ninjas or samurais to wear. Traditionally, it is a simple black iron that clamps around the bottom of his mouth from the back of his head, which has decorative dragon teeth on its surface. When Kha utters “…the Maw hungers…”, the armor piece suddenly shifts into something grotesque and horrible. It seemingly replaces his own jaw, and becomes a mouth filled with razor sharp, needle-like teeth, that can open far wider than is physically possible by a human. Due to his experience, the Maw has a well defined set of abilities.

1) It can consume nearly anything. It can’t bite through anything, but if it can fit in the mouth, then the Maw can usually swallow it (where the it apparently doesn’t ever enter the exorcist’s body). Generally, Kha will use it to “consume” either air, fire, water, or earth (the classical elements). This leads to the next ability.

2) It can violently expel anything it has consumed. In fact, it must at some point or another, and can’t simply store whatever it has taken in indefinitely. Generally, whatever is expelled comes out with a great deal of force. In the case of air, for instance, it is blown out like an extreme gust of wind or greater. Kha most commonly just breathes out fire, however, since the Maw seems to be able to store fire with greater ease than any of the other elements. This is likely where the name stems from, as Lạc Long Quân is the patron deity of the Vietnamese people, and a legendary dragon.

3) The most popular and downright savage ability of the Maw, is its ability to consume Akuma. Unlike other objects which need to be expelled, the Innocence can consume Akuma for good. The sight of Kha consuming one of these creatures is said to be a rather disturbing thing to behold. The piece seems to take in the evil matter of its natural enemies and purify it from within itself. From there, it seems to either become energy for Kha. He can then either use it to strengthen himself, either in his other Innocence abilities or his own physical capabilities, or expel it as pure holy energy.

4) The Maw reacts to the presence of Akuma. It can NOT detect who specifically, but the mouth begins to the forum when they are near.

Background: Much like a Parasite user, Kha was found with his Innocence. At some point his childhood he had apparently found the Maw and it miraculously synchronized with him on the spot. Unfortunately, due to its grotesque appearance when it activated, he was shunned and exiled from his town. His parents were barely able to keep the townspeople from killing him, as they believed he had become possessed by an evil spirit. At that point, it didn’t even matter if he discarded the Maw. Lost and confused, Kha had no choice but to wander from place to place, and survive off what little he had and he could find. Eventually, his clothes began to wear down to rags, and his appearance started to become more and more beastly. Not only that, but his Innocence started to react on its own, drawing the unwanted attention of disguised Akuma who attacked him on the spot. Soon, legends grew around him as his “death toll” rose.

The superstitious believed he was some sort of zombie, brought back to life by evil spirits to consume the living. The more sensible believed he was some sort of cannibal serial killer. Neither story did him very good, and it made him grow more and more divorced from humanity as he was forced to isolate himself. Then, one day on an apparent assignment, a General came to the town he had chosen to stay in for the week. At first, Kha was almost killed upon their chance meeting, as he looked far from a sane human and more like a demon. However, the exorcist was able to see, and realize, what he truly was. From there, this General rescued him from his cursed existence, and trained him to be one of the Black Order. To this day, he still sees that person as a surrogate parent and personal hero, and will often refer to them as such in a slip of the tongue.

Unfortunately, he also picked up a bit of a psychological defect from his childhood as well. This wasn’t mentioned above in the quirks, since it wouldn’t make as much sense unless explained at the end. When his Innocence is activated, Kha has a severe psychological response, and starts believing that he must consume an Akuma as soon as possible. He literally remarks “the Maw hungers… I hunger,” when he begins a fight, and his personality has been known to change completely the longer he doesn’t “satiate” himself.

Yes, the quirk wasn't very good. That one was more of a place holder till I found one better. Don't worry it should be fixed. The electricity wasn't that important either, that little excerpt was just to show that he never had to go to town much, it can be erased quite easily.

As for his weapon he fires energy, I thought I stated that, but I must not have, I apologize. And I do realize I need to work on it some more. Thank you for the input Berry, I'll fix it right up for you.

I have returned from a long hiatus, alright so this is my cs from the last D. Gray- man RP modified of course I hope it's good enough.

Name: Wang Lee

Age: 26

Gender: Male
Nationality: Chinese

Appearance: Lee is about 5’6’’ he has long hair tied up in a pony tail, his body is very toned and muscular like the body of a trained martial artist. Lee has several distinct tattoos on his body on is the Chinese character for truth on his back, the other is flames covering his right eye. When Lee is wearing his typical exorcist garb he wears a long black trench coat with all the exorcist markings. Under it he wears a green sleeveless t-shirt, as well as black exorcist pants. When not wearing his exorcist outfit he tends to wear clothes with the combination of green and black in whatever he wears.

Personality: Lee is a very strong determined person but he also has a lighthearted side when he messing with people using his innocence power. When he’s lonely he does tend to talk to himself but it isn’t something people would worry about. He has a bit of an ego and tends to praise himself more than he deserves. Lee is still a pretty decent person and he’s not the kind of person to start a fight but he also isn’t the type to talk as a first option.

Quirk/Talents: Lee is a great martial artist and his style is one he has developed on his own. He developed it from taking aspects of many other different styles to create his own personal one.

Innocence type: Equipment type

Innocence details: “Double joker” is a pair of green and black gloves that turn into gauntlets upon being activated. Lee’s weapon gives him a significant boost in speed and strength making him just a little more powerful than the normal human. It also has the ability to split Lee into two people one black joker the other Green joker.
Black joker: Is Lee all in black he gains the extra strength his innocence provides.
Green joker: Is an all green Lee who gains the speed and swiftness of the innocence.

Background: Lee comes from china; he spent most of his life in a temple training himself in martial arts. When he turned 18 he left to travel the world to find other fighters to create his own style. In his travels he had met a General who was impressed by the skill Lee had shown in a street fight that made the innocence react to him. The General offered Lee a chance to fight something that had strength beyond that of a human, the general called them akuma. Lee agreed to join and he became the disciple of the general until he was allowed to go to the black order to be a true exorcist.

Nationality: USA

Appearance: A rather slim young adult. Has short red-dyed hair that he rarely combs do to the shortness. Wears a red vest with the black order coat tied around his waist, a simple pair of pants, and sandals.

Personality: While out of battle Ashstone is a bit eccentric, believing that strange creatures are always watching us when people are not looking, this unfortunately leads people to think he is insane. He also has a great love of slapstick comedy and unfortunately has made it his mission to cause mischief for the Science Department. He has a personal vendetta against anyone who harms little girls and has said on one occasion that if god himself did such a act he would go up to him and punch him square in the jaw, even if it meant damnation. While in battle Ashstone something akin to a Norse berserker, rarely talks and acts like a rabid animal though he is able to tell friend from foe.

Quirks: When Ashstone is about to kill a akuma or hurt somebody he says "Yesterday was history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a present, do you like the gift?". Believes that some unknown force other than god is always watching.

Innocence Type: Equipment

Innocence Details: Beast of Darwin: A sentient weapon that's true form is the ooze the innocence was first seen as but has since changed it's form to something similar to a mechanical flying lion. Ashstone nicknamed it Aqua after his dead little sister. It's abilities are as follow.

Sentience: The Beast of Darwin is capable independent movement and intelligence, unfortunately it seems to act a lot like a cat and is stubborn and like to sleep a lot, once was found asleep in a Science Department Test area, when one of the members tried to wake it up, it claw his face then bit his head it did let go for a hour and a half.

Integration: After purifying a akuma it will take what is left of it's body and fuse it to it's form becoming stronger the more akuma it fights. Though it can integrate non-akuma things it's not as effective

Armor and Weapon: It changes back into it's true form to cover Ashstone and reshape itself into armor and a weapon, though it can split a small part of itself to just become a weapon. Ashstones preferred weapon is a Whip Sword but can form others as long as it has mass to spare.

Absorption: It's most deadly ability but to do this it must return to it's true form to engulf the akuma. It can absorb a akuma and take it's abilities for itself but, it can't absorb more than one akuma at a time and it must wait a couple of months before the abilities are fully absorbed.

Invasion: Not so much a ability as its preferred way to destroy a akuma. If the akuma has a open wound on it's body the Beast of Darwin can enter it's body to destroy or absorb it from the inside.

Background: As a child according to him Ashstone was visited by strange creatures he calls the "Valor", he has never actually told what these being look like most assume he is either crazy or had a vision of angels or demons. When Ashstone was on a trip to visit his grandmothers grave with his parents, grandfather, little sister. This was the day he saw a akuma that was born from the flesh of his little sister, as he and his grandfather where praying his sister Aqua appeared behind them covered in blood his grandfather worried about her, rushed to her side asked what was wrong. In that moment he was shot right through the chest, Ashstone ran as the akuma that was Aqua turned to him. He ran into the forest and ran deep into a cave, he didn't watch where he was going and ran into a stalagmite and was knocked out. Ashstone awoke later the first thing he noticed was he was covered in a glowing yellow ooze, he at first tried to wipe it off but soon found it to have a warm comfortable felling on his hand and soon made his way out of the cave. As Ashstone left the entrance he heard. "Brother its not nice to keep your precious sister alone a forest. Now I am afraid I am going to have to punish you." The akuma that was Aqua had been waiting for him, he ran but soon tripped on a root of a tree. "Naughty! Naughty , naughty brother." Ashtone turned to see the akuma still in his sisters form. "Now this will only hurt for a second!" It turned its hand into a giant syringe and was about to strike when the ooze covered his body jumped off him and onto the akuma. The ooze entered the akuma's body through the mouth, eyes, and ears. The akuma screamed and fell to the ground, it's body twisted, and bulged in various places in it's last moments It called "HELP ME BROTHER! HELP ME BROTHE...." at that moment it imploded. Where it once lay was a cocoon Ashstone compelled to take it walked away in a daze until he woke up on a bed on his chest lay a large metallic insect like creature, as he noticed this a old women walk through a door and sat next to him she asked him to tell her of his story, after it was told she Ashstone about akuma, the black order, and the innocence. A few days later she escorted him to the black order headquarters and has been training there ever since then. When asked why he actually agreed to join them he had stated "The Valor said it would be best.".

In one of the past D. Gray-man RPs, I had a character with a rifle. I'd have used him again if it weren't for a certain someone here taking the gun position already....nevertheless, I've already got another idea.

I want to be a 57 year old man. So I'll make a 57 year old man as my character. But after thinking about it, you probably want us to be more inexperienced. So I'll take 30 years off. Unless you think it's alright to be 57. Do you?

Anyways, I'm just posting this so that you can review the innocence first. If you don't like it, I'll make another character I was thinking of. Since it looks like you haven't checked yet, I'll just go fill in the parts I can right now.

The one thing I'm really scared about making this is that my house might get bombarded....

Name: Zahir-i Sabbah

Age: 27

Innocence Details:

Name: Mirror of Delusions, Shaytan
Type: Equipment
Appearance: It is a bronze two-faced mirror which opens horizontally with two handles connected to each mirror at their bottom. It is covered in ornate decorations; on one of the mirrors, it depicts 99 cloaked figures in what seems to be some sort of meeting, each of them convening around the center part of the mirror. On the other mirror, the decorations depict some kind of amalgam between a goat, a lion, and a man swallowing the reflective portion of the mirror whole.

Activation: To activate Shaytan, Zahir-i gently opens up the twin mirrors and raises it in the air while saying its full title 'Mirror of Delusions, Shaytan'. As he does this, he slowly lets go of the mirror, leaving it levitating in the air, and grabs on to each handle which is in the opposite side (he basically crosses his arms) and shouts out 'Turn deceit into reality' before pulling on the handles. This releases a steam of smoke coming from the handles, which form into short blades. The handles and mirrors turn completely silver and the mirrors multiply to a total of 99 mirrors. All of the mirrors float in the air and will constantly rotate around Zahir-i.

Abilities:

*The Mirrors: Each of the mirrors can float independently by themselves, but can be forced to move in a path by Zahir-i's will. Zahir-i can enter one mirror and exit out the other; others can only do the same, but only if Zahir-i allows them to. When Zahir-i or any one else steps on a mirror, they are instantly teleported to another mirror of Zahir-i's choosing. If Zahir-i only wants a partial teleportation to be done, the mirror will swallow up a protruding appendage instead. There is a limit to the size of the object that the mirrors can teleport; it can teleport an object or person which takes up the entire space of a 8 x 8 room, but anything larger than that is too much.

The mirrors also have the ability to 'multiply' an event. If Zahir-i slashes an enemy with one of his knives and it's reflected in one mirror, it'd be as if the enemy was slashed 2 times. If an attack is reflected in all 99 mirrors, it'd be as if Zahir-i had attacked 100 times. This ability can be done in reverse, though, so Zahir-i is cautious about using all 99 mirrors at the same time. Also, this ability only works when Zahir-i is reflected in the mirrors, plus it can only affect him; as in, the attacks he does and the attacks he receives.

The mirrors are quite fragile; they can be broken and rendered useless. If this happens, the innocence must be repaired by the Black Order scientists. This is why Zahir-i is very cautious about sending a mirror too far away from him since they become more fragile the farther away the mirrors are from the knives.

Attacks can be redirected by the mirrors, but moves that do damage in an area (like an elemental blast) will break the mirror. If a limb which is too large to enter a mirror tries to go through it, it will only end up destroying the mirror instead.

*The Knives: The knives are the only part of the innocence which can actually harm an Akuma. They do not have any special ability aside from what the mirrors allow them to do. Compared to the mirrors, they're quite sturdy and don't break very easily.

Techniques:
*# Heartbeats - The # is equivalent to how many mirrors are reflecting the attack.
*Inverted World - Zahir-i teleports an enemy in the mirror to an upside-down mirror, which causes them to lose their center of gravity.
*Cursed World - Zahir-i uses two mirrors in this technique; using only partial teleportation, he quickly stabs into the mirrors which allows him to stab an enemy from anywhere as long as a mirror is close by to them. This cannot be used with # Heartbeats since Zahir-i must be completely reflected by the mirrors. Cursed World can also be done with others' attacks, but a mirror can be destroyed if the attacks are too indiscriminate.
*Fantasy World - Zahir-i can peer into one of the mirrors and can see anything they see. The reflections are clearer the closer the mirrors are to the knives and the farther the mirrors are, the foggier they become.

Background: Zahir-i is a descendant of the origin of assassination, Hassan-i Sabbah. When the Hashshashin had been brought down by the Mongol's, the assassin group al-Assas had gone into hiding so that they may continue to fight for their beliefs and ideals. They used many tools to carry out their acts, Shaytan being one of them. The original head of the group, Hassan-i Sabbah, had been able to use this to fool many of his enemies and even his own allies to further his own purposes, but he had never really been able to unlock its full potential like Zahir-i did.

Even if the world had been mostly modernized by western colonists, al-Assas continued to persist with its many activities. When Zahir-i was born, his father had died due to a disease and his mother, stricken with grief, had become a devout follower of al-Assas' ideals and allowed them to take her son to train within their ranks. He grew up without ever knowing the identity of his parents, completely devoted to the cause of al-Assas. When he reached his adulthood, he had become the right hand man of the leader of al-Assas.

When the leader died unexpectedly without giving any instructions to the members of al-Assas as to do what next, many of al-Assas members grieved for him out of respect and out of confusion at what they had to do. That was when the Earl had come to Zahir-i, who experienced the most sorrow out of all of the members. He was offered the chance to bring their leader back, but was asked in exchange to give the treasure of al-Assas, the Shaytan, for the resurrection of their leader. He offered it without hesitation, but asked first for the leader to be brought back before he gave the mirror.

When the Earl had 'brought' back the soul of al-Assas' leader, it immediately tried to attack Zahir-i. Despite his own combat prowess, Zahir-i was not prepared to fight his leader. He would have died had it not been for the mirror, which had somehow made the monster he had created disappear to another place. Bewildered and frightened, Zahir-i fled with the mirror in hand and, as he did, was accused by his clan mates of abandoning their ideologies and stealing their precious artifact.

Zahir-i wandered for many days in the desert before he was found by a General of the Black Order. The General took him in and explained to him about everything; who the Earl was, what the Akuma were, and what Innocence is. Zahir-i was converted into a believer of the church and the mirror was reforged by the scientists of the Black Order into a more combat usable form. Though he continues to fight, he does so now for a new cause; to preserve the lives of every human being on Earth and to defeat the Millennium Earl.

Appearance: 5'2" with steely black eyes that seem to pierce your soul, has a fair complection, and black hair.

Personality: Deals with new people and events the way he handles everything else with an I could care less attitude.

Quirks/Talents: Good with Medicine and Diseases.

Innocence type: Equipment

Innocence details: A glove that he wears almost always (unless he is sleeping) that has a red cross on it. Has the ability to harm anything at a molecular level if he wishes can also repair damged cells of allies. When invoked it changes into a black gove with needles upon it usually used for attacking and sewing wounds back together.

Innocence name: Hand of Judgement.

Innocence abilities: Pretty self explanatory

Background: Noir was born differently then other people he seemed to mature at a faster rate than other people thus causing him to be shunned and also causing his current attitude towards people.
When he was 11 he took an extreme interest in the medical field which caused him to try to cure his brothers cancer by himself causing his mom to believe he was trying to kill his brother thus resulting in him being forced out of his house. his brother died shortly after he left with one of his fathers medical gloves (the only thing he could grab.) He keeps a rusted scalpel with him to remind him of his failure. He came across his innocence while he was wandering the desert in search of a place to stay, he heard some people talking at camp, they were talking about getting a box to someone named the Millenium Earl and figured that they could be up to no good thus causing him to rush foolhardidly into the camp to try and steal the box when the campers suddenly changed into akuma, then something strange happened the box started to glow and a beam of light hit the glove causing it to change into a black glove with needles and the akuma started acting scared, so Noir with his new weapon and confidence decided to fight, but the fight was interrupted by someone in a strange black uniform, the man took out the akuma with a strange cross that seemed to summon up a giant doll thing. After the fighting and some tea the man told Noir to go to Asia and seek out an organization called the Black Order and show them what he called an innocence so he could become an exorcist, after he told him that he told him about the creatures he had just tried to take on follishly, he called them akuma evil creatures formed from souls of the dearly departed by the Millenium Earl and that he was a source of most of the sorrows in the world, and with that he gave Noir some plane tickets to Asia and he dissapeared.

On a side note, I notice a lot of people making anti-akuma weapons that are gloves. No one considered maces, scythes, or blunt instruments at all?
