I hate coming up with names.

Yeah, names suck.

Which is why a lot of my creations manage to go unnamed :/

I usually end up giving my characters a sorta weird first name, then a somewhat mundane last name.

And my favorite part of character creation would probably be equipment and powers, because that's where I can come up with some really cool stuff, and I enjoy making up technologies which, far-fetched as they may be, actually sound plausible.

I use a baby names book to come up with names for my characters, I tend to be partial to names that start with the letter ‘m’.

I look around at random things near me and try to find names from that, either that or think of what the character looks like...or looks the least like. Hehe

1. History
2. Powers
3. Name
4. Race (If only because I START by choosing one)
5. Personality

I find it difficult to confine myself to a personality because if my character is written a way contrary to my own way of thinking, I find myself wracking my brain on how they would act given a situation.

The personality isn't so bad for me since even if you do start with a personality that doesn't favor your normal character, that leaves more room for you to develop the character into something better later on.
