It looks Like a big vending mchine buil into the wall, only there are no adds, it has a keyboard instead of choice buttons, and the the food slot thing is at waist level instead of at the bottom.

Luckily for you that pretty much describes Charles in one word, the other word being "Grouch".

In fact, if I had actually completed the story that I was working on, that would be Charles role throughout the entire thing and nothing else.
