In all fairness, it was 4th edition, which I dislike in particular as it's built from the ground up as less of an RPG and more of a dungeon crawler. However, I can't say that I'm a fan of really any edition of D&D. Considering that my favorite games are either focused almost entirely on role playing (ie, Legend of the Five Rings, where what little combat there is is very fast and brutal) and stuff I'm predisposed to like (ie, Deathwatch because Space Marines are awesome), D&D is just boring to me.

Mmmm, Deathwatch
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Gotta say, I've tired of Space Marines. I've played with them in a couple of different games, different genres, and there's been something boring about them every time. Space Marines doesn't really encourage well-rounded characters or even especially interesting action.

I think part of it depends on the chapter. The Space Wolves are considerably more interesting and flavorful than Ultramarines for instance. Then you have other unique chapters like the Black Templars.

Personally, I just want more focus on the Tau.

Hello all. How's it going? I finally finished my Dorothy RP storyline, and realized it would be a way too long RP maybe. I've been busy and in college, trying to do 3D modeling for a project or two, writing scripts and fics, and trying to figure out what my next RP should be when I get down time. I have the other 3 parts I can do, but I also want to try some others that I have.

Also on topic of DnD, 4e, my friend and I, level 4 Paladin, Level 5 Fighter, managed to take on orcus. Then DM realized he didn't put in his immunity to abilities. So that was fun having to undo all of our level growth from 4/5 to I think it was 13.

I wish I had a chair that can run faster than a horse, climb up buildings, and be my best friend...
#THESTRUGGLE
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

@Tenshi: I hope so, too, pffft.

@PandaBrady: Nope, it's not Studio Ghibli. Seems to be a group called "noitaminA," which...looks like "Animation" backwards, lol.

The Idea Board has been quiet for some time. Tempted to post again. Still looking for more ideas to add to my KH idea... and a fourth vote for Faerun.

Thank god this thread got revived. Even better with a cute animation.

I liked it! It shows what a girl who's blind would imagine around her. It was nice c:

My only complaint about the comic so far is the distinct lack of cucumbers. Rather misleading don't you suppose? Lol.
