Same for me pretty much. I guess in terms of active playing time, I was most active in TBC, but the Northrend expansion (WotLK) was when I was most successful at raiding (did server 1st Yogg-Saron kill in hard-mode, the one with no guardians involved) and I've spent the least time dicking around. Otherwise pretty much exactly as you.

Agreed. It's just a game meant to be fun.

Rival wrote:Oh hey that's a pretty unfair generalization. You shouldn't really be saying that of, give or take, 10 million people just because some of them were assholes to you. Some of the nicest people I met online, I've met via WoW. Just like you've played Halo with nice people, and the stereotypical opinion of Halo players is, at least in Europe, even worse than of WoW players.

I've never played it and don't really care to. I do keep track of the lore though, and it pains me to see what has happened. I don't really care if it is a unfair generalization or not. Look at the generalization of Halo players, Americans, Conservative Republicans, Liberal Democrats, etc. Life is full of unfair generalizations and assumptions, and it doesn't take someone with a half a brain to understand that a few screw balls that manage to define your group as weird. It was meant as a joke, so you don't need to get so offended by it.

Same reason why I'm not a fan of the CoD community either.

I don't think I've had any problems with the CoD community, just the Halo one.

You know, that one kid who won't shut up.

If you want a game that people take too seriously, LoL or DOTA 2

Yes, there is that one kid. They are funny to troll though. I got one to think the warthog is a puma.

I like how you make it a point to avoid mentioning racial prejudice.

Thank you for teaching me about unfair generalizations. Clearly despite being older and much poorer than you and belonging to one of the ethnicities facing most prejudices on my continent, I know far less about it than you.

Blood Lord wrote:so you don't need to get so offended by it.

That WoW thing didn't offend me, I just thought your opinion was unfair, so I entered polemics. Now you "teaching" me about how life is filled with unfair generalizations that kinda offends me. Don't sweat it though.

Bwhahaha. That must have been entertaining. I always get the ones that make sailors blush and they think they are the best players out there.

The LoL community is notoriously bad. Also I find Dota style games to be a waste of time, but that's just what I think.

And other styles of games are more productive?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Strategy games, cooperative games, any game that has something to do with working together and encourages good communication.

MOBA's should have that when played to their full potential, since you are on a team.

MOBAs fuck me off since you don't really get anything out of them and their troll community is worse than CoD or Counter Strike. Most are fucked up little kids with an ego problem and the rest are grumpy uni students with nothing better to do.

Why hello there my young Simon! Welcome to the forums! Read the RP rule, Global Rules, be a respectable person, and you'll get along just fine. :)
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.
