Yay! done with finals. What a nightmare.

I feel like Gandalf after defeating the Balrog. I always pictured him while rolling onto his back in the snow, thinking "Yup, just did that like a boss."

My title agrees.

Deena wrote:If virgin men become wizards, do non-virgin men become...warriors? Maybe?

They become nothing, because they've had their magic stolen by a succubus.

Though they become a druid if it wasn't with a humanoid

That way you get cash up front
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

So, I have been curious about something. Has there ever been an RP created where the setting was somewhat post-apocalyptic where the earth has been in darkness and never saw daylight for many years? I was thinking of a setting where it could be that as well as sort of Steampunk-ish with fantasy elements. Has that ever been done before?

Oh, Ali, if you did something like that, I have so many ideas I could tell you. You don't have to use them but it would be nice for me to be able to tell someone my steampunk ideas, especially depending on the races and type of magic/magick/magicka/etc. you're using.

I remember a RP where the setting was post-apocalyptic in an underground shelter, it didn't last very long from what I remember but I'm not sure why. Don't think it was fantasy setting at all though.

This reminds me a lot of Fallout 3... with more of a steam-punk atmosphere.

Mmm, ya, I think I remember that Rp. I think it was just the general slow death of people not posting etc.

I'd wager that while "slow death of people not posting" might just be bad luck due to people getting busy, it's more likely that the RP in question has a problem that leads to people losing interest.

So I guess the majority of the Rp's in the last 2 or 3 years have been flawed then
