Huh, thought I was younger.

I was 15
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

So I was the only one that heard of Snafu before I joined?

Joining any forum when you're young, stupid and full of hormones is never a fun experience to look back on.

Joined when I was 13 or 14 unless my maths is horrible.

I like to pretend those years on the internet never happened.

I need my dignity.

At least when you're young you sort of have an excuse. I actually was scanning through my post history looking for an old RP the other night and wow I said some really pointlessly rude shit. I guess probably because my life sucked at the time.

Let's not look back for too long. Nostalgia's great, but I don't want to dwell on the weepy, whiny twit I was back then.

Let us hold each other in our lamentations and be glad the future us's made it far enough to look back and see how bad the past us's were.

At this rate of improvement I'm hoping far-future me has some sort of super power.

7 years? Which would have made me 17... well I've become less antisocial in some aspects and more in others. My current self is way better at letting things go, but that's just the result of years of getting used to it.

Nope. I heard through Endling's deviantART page, lurked for a long while and then joined. If I am correct in my math seems I joined at age 19. O_o It feels like I had joined much earlier than that. Time flies by so damn fast.

Also, is it just me or is there a piece of the forum background missing?

So fourteen years old.

I was looking for a better forum than Smackjeeves as I recall.

I was reading GT for a while, a good while actually, and then it was hitting the end and I wanted to gush, so I joined.

Amaranthine Ali wrote:Also, is it just me or is there a piece of the forum background missing?

There was a wee revamp of the forum. So...the brown and bond dude are missing now.

If it is that you're referring to Ali, then it's gone, not missing.

I've been doing okay, more or less. Been a bit stressed these days over school stuff--mostly when it comes to English, especially when it comes to discussions on topics I'm not super comfortable with. :x

There's been some stress as a whole lately, really...;

As for the join date discussion...I actually found out about Snafu from my friend sometime in 2009, I think, but I usually kept to the homepage where the comics were. I didn't start lurking in the forums themselves until the whole conflict with Seiryuga and Griddles happened. I still didn't join until November 2011--so, I joined when I was still 18.

Joined myself back in 07 was 19 at the time. I thought I was younger than that when I joined actually. Dang it feels like so long ago. I knew about the site years before in high school when I followed the comics but never knew there was a forum. Joined for the comics but stayed for the RP.

Doing ok actually. Doing my best to pick up an internship and get out of my current job. Should be going for an interview as soon as I can get one scheduled. Wish me luck.

Good Luck! Although what is your current job and what do you want to intern in?

Thanks. Currently working as the assistant manager at a Dunkin Donuts. Looking to intern at an IT company.

Does anyone know if Keiran is still here? I would like to see if I can work things out with her.

Do a member search and look at her profile to see when her last login was. That should tell you if she's still around.

Or...just send her a PM or an email through the site.
