Man, I played 3 or 4 matches of that before I gave up. If they played only with the FF8 cards and it's rules it would have been a lot less confusing.

I'm very curious why my pitch in the idea thread got the yawn-worthy reception it got. Given the preferences of the people here, I'm not hugely surprised, but I'd still like to know still in case I write up another one. My guess would be either that the setting wasn't "fantastic" enough, people didn't like the mechanics, or it just broke with too many elements people like (short length, frequent character death).

From my observations, I've noticed that there seems to be a stigma where if someone posts in the Weirdness asking for people to look at their posts in the Idea Board, then people will be less inclined to consider it.

Exhausted. I'm almost done with my first round of college tests. The thing that kinda sucks about the whole process here is that we have a "Testing Center" where you go to take all of your tests. The teachers don't stop teaching, so there's no recovery time or short break from the homework.

I've been doing nothing else besides homework, and studying. No girls, no snowboard. Just me and mah big ass books.

This was literally me last week. And now that I'm out of tests and essays and shit, I just want to lay around and do nothing, alas more work comes in and I'm procrastinating because of it.

Also, you make me wanna snowboard again. I went to snowboard at Boyne Mountain (not sure if you know it) and Jesus, after a couple of years that felt great.
