I'm guessing our Inventories are gonna update loads as we gain looted stuff from things left behind, but obviously there's innate weight limit to which a person can carry.

The basement has two heavy metal doors with safety glass. The laundry room and the very small kitchen is there...considering the rest of the dorm, the most safe place with no windows and two doors.

As for the stuff you will be able to carry, common sense is the keyword.

The longer you guys wait...the less stuff saved from the internets can be viewed on the computers needing powers. Moar fuel needed.
