-Ikazuchi Shuuha-

Ikazuchi started calmly making his way towards his room where he was supposed to meet his teammates. 'Well this is what I get for reading when I should be paying attention. I hope the Sensei is the understanding type.' He thought to himself.

Ikazuchi had listened everything the teacher had said up until his team was announced. He pulled out a book quickly after that and got so into reading it that he forgot they had to meet right after the announcement. He quickly opened the door to the room and noticed everyone else was there, seeming to be waiting for him. 'Should have seen this comming too. At least that knucklehead Toshi isn't here.' He thought before walking up to the sensei.

Ikazuchi Shuuha reporting leader. I must apologize for my tardiness. It won't happen again. He was in such a rush to apologize to the teacher that he didn't notice they were already having a conversation.

"And that was the second time I made some poor sap's ramen explode on them," Takumi said light heartily as he took a bite of a rice ball, "Its just so easy here ya know? Poor dudes don't even realize it till its to late." Takumi snickered as he leaned on the wall behind him, "And now they got me leadin' team three, poor little bastards probably don't know whats comin' to 'em." Takumi looked over at Haka as he popped the rest of the rice ball in his mouth, "How about you eh?"

Takumi leaned on the wall with one foot propped up against it while the other rested on the floor. His hands were placed in his pockets with his two thumbs sticking out. The boy placed his other foot on the ground and folded his arms, sighing, "I hope they get here soon, I don't wanna be in this 'I'm better than everyone else' academy to long, kids are probably turned into superficial little fucks who think they're hot shit or somethin," A dark smirk flashed across Takumi's face as he looked into he crowd, "If I got any Genin like that I'm gunna break that mentality real quick."

"And why are you here anyway? You leadin a team too?" He questioned with a smile on his face.

~Haka~
The Chunin chuckled as Takumi finished his story. "'Least you didn't use my explosive tag this time." He took a bit of his own rice ball. "And I know what you mean, Hokage-sama wrangled me into this as well with her sob story of most of the Jonins being away on secret missions and not having enough for Genin teams." He sighed as he took a sip of his tea, but almost choked when he heard Takumi say what team he was leading. "Wait... team three? Dude, I'm leading that team too!"

He blinked a few times with a confused look before mumbling something to himself, "Two team leaders? Seems awfully strange to me." Takumi said with a sigh. "Well at least we don't have to deal with a prick alone if we get one eh?" He tried to stay optimistic with this new development but a nagging voice in his head told him something may go horribly wrong with this arrangement. Takumi stayed quiet for a moment before groaning as he watched the crowd of genin shuffle around, "I don't have the patience for this," Takumi grumbled as he stood up straight and took a deep breath.

"Yo! Team three! Over here!" Takumi shouted as he waved an arm in the air. He smirked and set his arm down, looking at Haka, "I wanna get the hell outta here," he said before shouting again. "Lets go!"

~Team Three, Mamoru Honda~

Mamoru was wandering about around the crowd after they had been dismissed by the proctor. He was feeling a bit light headed now; everything was a bit over his head. He had been one of the few people chosen to train in a special version of the ninja academy training and survive through all the training they had undergone to be promoted to Genin level. It may not have sounded quite that impressive, but considering how much harder the training was then the regular lessons held back at the normal ninja academy, Mamoru at least felt that he earned a pat on the back.

His parents, though, felt otherwise. Mamoru was pretty good with Ninjutsu and Taijutsu techniques, but he never really mastered Genjutsu. In fact, he couldn't even use any Genjutsu techniques. His whole family was a bunch of all-rounders, and they felt that a proper ninja should be one who could perform moderately well in everything. Mamoru's parents even said that a 'specialist' like him in offensive jutsus would never do well as a ninja, even if he WAS admitted into an advanced class.

Bah. What do they know? Mamoru thought to himself angrily, remembering all those harsh words that his parents had said to him. He had at least mastered the basic jutsu for sneaking around; he didn't really need to learn illusion techniques to help himself hide.

Finally, after brooding about how much his life sucked, Mamoru spotted what seemed to be his team mates; one of them, a short guy, had bumped into the other, a girl wearing a blue tactical vest. Mamoru recognized them as the bomb guy and sword girl.

So, those are my team mates, eh? Heh. Lax as usual. Mamoru thought to himself, snickering a bit. Although they were basically quite advanced compared to the ninjas who come from the regular ninja academy, there were still those in the class who never really seemed as serious as they should be; Mamoru himself being one of those people.

"Ha, are you guys planning on excluding me on this fun little conversation?" Mamoru greeted them as he linked his arms over their shoulders. "I'm feeling a bit left out, you know. Who's going to push ME down?" he tried to joke, though it wasn't really that funny. Mamoru wasn't as quick witted as some of the other people in their class.

-Yu Yu-

Yukenra looked at the final member of their group as he approached them and introduced himself. He was still focused on what Aori sensei had to say about his jutsu though. "Yep, I'm the midget of the group." he thought. So far, he wasn't particularly liking Aori-sensei. No less than a minute with him, and he's already got a shitty nick-name. He pondered on the thoughts of Yamada-kun, and he could agree with most of it. "I hear you and I agree mostly. I don't think it's Kage Kunai though. They aren't multiplying, he's just throwing them one at a time."

[Konoha Villiage, Advanced Corps Facility]

"O-ok." Sonda managed to spurt out, taking Azuna's hand in a quick shake before letting go and going back to an awkward silence. He was just about to wonder where his team leaders were when Mamoru jumped him. Sonda was just glad he identified him before putting a Kunai in his eye.

Sonda did however make something of a squeaking noise when Mamoru wrapped his arm around him, and almost gave his teammate's hand a nice clawing from his Tekagi-shuko out of reflex. Instead, Sonda just stood their, feeling more awkward then ever before; and finding himself very happy when his team was called for.

Using the excuse given to him, Sonda pushed Manoru's hand off before darking over to Takumi and Haka. He moved at a steady jog, not flat out running, but at lest fast enough to make it look like he was hurrying to this COs. Stopping at attention infront of the two Chunin Sonda took a breath before speaking. "Sonda of team three reporting." the young Genin said, lacking any tone of professional confidence. Sonda was still feeling awkward dispite the fact that this was about as comfortable as he could be in any contact with people (this is only because he was drilled thoroughly on how to report to a CO).
And God looked down upon the mortals and said: "...wtf are you noobs doing on my lawn?"

That's the problem with worshipping the god of schemes. You never quite know whether or not you're being divinely blessed, screwed over royally, or both at the same time.

"Oh I highly doubt them being Kage clones as well.. its just a theory.. like many other ideas.. but you could use kage copies one at a time if you only had one Kuni.. its a ideal replacement for carrying around large numbers if you have a large amount of Chakra.." ~Team Three, Mamoru Honda~

Mamoru pretended to have a hurt expression on his face when Sonda suddenly brushed his hand off. "Why I've never!" Mamoru said in what seemed to be a foreign accent. He wasn't really hurt at all by Sonda's actions; the guy seemed jittery when Mamoru saw him. He should of known better than to suddenly jump on him. "Heh. Well, I hope YOU won't abandon me. Mamoru said as he turned to look at Azuna. He flashed her a smile before he went and ran off to catch up with Sonda. "Well, let's not keep our team leader waiting any longer. Come on!"

He slowed down as he approached where his team was supposed to meet their leader. He punched Sonda's shoulder playfully when he arrived. "Ah, why'd you leave me so suddenly, honey? I felt reaaally hurt." Mamoru whispered in Sonda's ear jokingly. "Hah. Seriously man. No need to be so nervous."

Clearing his throat as he faced the two Chunins in front of them, Mamoru introduced himself to them. "Mamoru Honda of team three, reporting. Siiiir?" Mamoru greeted. He prolonged saying sir as he looked at both of the two Chunin, wondering which one of them was their team's leader. "If I'm not out of line here, may I ask which one of you is our team leader?" Mamoru asked. "Unless this is some kind of test. Is it? Seriously. We just finished our final exams, I didn't think we'd have to face another test so suddenly." he added. He hoped that at least one of those two had a little humor in them.

-Till Next Time?-
-First Room-
-Satoru-

When the ANBU proctor had announced the set teams, Satoru knew that she should have been expecting it. Satoshi had told her that the time would come, where they would no longer be seen as one, but rather two separate individuals in the course of time. They would no longer be a pair, the infamous and cat-like Ono Pair that slunk through the halls of the Advanced Corps, causing confusion and chaos with their mere presence. For now she, Satoru was going into one group, while her older twin, Satoshi, was in the other.

Now she would have to hide her secret alone. She is known as Ono Satoru, supposed male and other half of the Ono pair, whose blood held strong to the Ono family kekkei genkai, a taijutsu specialist in training. But in actuality, she is Ono Satoru, female twin of Ono Satoshi, crossdresser, and a liar for hiding her true gender identity from the populace.

Right now Satoru did feel distraught, the hands hidden under her desk clenching hard, nails digging into the palms of her hand. Steel-gray eyes were calmly closed, head bent forward, her chin resting against the Konoha forehead protector that hung there, hiding slender neck and lack of Adam's Apple. Dark crimson hair that would easily borderline maroon helped to hide her smoother features, while now opened eyes were curved and matching perfectly with her brother's. A single fair finger peeked from the thin-fabric of the long sleeve, twirling at the side locks to the right, weaving crimson strands around and around, looking almost uncaring of the situation that neared.

Lips were curled into that mischievous smile, but instead of that matching voice, she spoke softly towards Satoshi, who was close and next to her. Her voice matched most frequencies of her older brother, hiding any indication of feminine inclination. "You were right brother, for it seems that we must part ways, separate teams we are to be, no?"

The twirling finger stopped moving and she pulled her hand forward, the long locks of red slowly slipping from her grasp, falling back to their place on the side of her features. She turns her head slightly, her eyes now set on Satoshi, whose expressions she could grasp despite his minimal gestures, a pained smile now on her lips, one that only he would see from the girl. "I will miss our time apart, till next time brother dearest?"

"We're both your team leader. Both of us. The Hokage probably put us both here for your sake." Takumi said casuauly as his eyes narrowed at Honda, half expecting the genin to know who he was. "And your first trial comes later, after we eat." Takumi had detected a slight trace of humor in the boy but wasn't in the particular mood to joke around. Training, teams, and missions were a few of the small amount of things that Takumi took seriously, "Now isn't exactly the time for light hearted talking. I think we need to see what you both can do before we actually start something. Get all that boring stuff over with. As for you..." the chunin looked at Sonda before his eye twitched, "Sonda and Honda huh?" He paused with a dark smile crawling across his pale face, "Shonda."

"At any rate lets head over to a restaurant after the third member makes their way over here so we can have some proper introductions." Takumi patted the boy's shoulders before falling back to his former position. "I might actually pay this time," he whispered to Haka after turning his back to the two Genin, "So what do you think?"

Aori just shook his head when the third member arrived. "You are all wrong but I didn't think you'd be able to answer. I wanted to see how your minds worked." He pointed at Yukenra "Bunky, you didn't make any choice. Instead, you pushed all of your answers out in hope that one would be right." His finger turned to Yamada "You analyzed each answer before finally choosing one you thought was the most likely instead of going with your gut feeling. Sometimes you don't have the luxury of going through all the options. And you." His finger swerved to point at Ika "You... were late and you don't even have an answer." He smiled and said "You guys all didn't consider the simplest option that didn't involve any use of chakra." He threw the kunai and suddenly, he was gone. He was now at the target, grabbing the kunai and sticking it in the middle. "And that is how I did it. Any questions or comments before I see what you guys can do?"

"high speed.. such a high speed that you can't see you do it.." Yamada didn't look surprised that it wasn't one of his options, just filing it under his metal notes for what his new master could do, "Very impressive... Aori Sensei.." He shifted on his feet, he liked the idea of showing off a little.. he hadn't done any ninjustu training since this morning and was rather happy to let loose when the time came

Yukenra listened as Aori went about explaining his reasoning for asking the question, as well as his observations of their behavior. He looked on as Team 2's leader showed them what he did. "Fast..." he said at the demonstration of Aori-sensei's shunshin no jutsu. He didn't have a question concerning the jutsu. He did have a comment on his own answer, and the guy called him Bunky again. It was starting to annoy him. "Yeah, I chose the three answers that I thought made the most sense. You never said we could only choose one. Um,..Aori-sensei,.... Why do you call me bunky?" he asked with a neutral face. He didn't like the nick-name at all.

~Haka~
A mock look of shock appeared on Haka's face. "You, pay!? You never pay for your food!" He chuckled, then turned to the Genins. "Yeah... I think it's 'cause a Taijutsu user and a genjutsu user compliment each other, or something like that. I dunno, all I know is it keeps a roof over my head."

-Ikazuchi Shuuha-

Ikazuchi was amazed of the speed that his team leader possessed to do the trick he showed. But his other emotion, confusion, was taking over more so. He was being scoled, that much he thought, but it was because he didn't answer a question. What question? He had no idea the sensei had asked a question. That's what made his teacher mad? He was starting to dislike him already.

Forgive me Aori Sensei, but I didn't even know you had asked a question. It's very hard to give an answer to a question you don't know. He was trying to be apologetic, but it may have seemed more like a 'you should know this' kind of tone to him.

But then it came to him that he didn't even know his teammates, good thing his Sensei had already stated one of their names for him, at least he thought it was his name. According to "Bunkey" he didn't like to be called that at least.

The next step... He hissed the words through his mind and set off, his eyes still closed, but he bumped into no one. The way of their shadows told him everything, their movements told him everything else. He navigated flawlessly, and stood with everyone else in the other room, also annoyingly well-lit. He would have to open his eyes to know who his instructor was.

He did so, saw his instructor at the end of the staging area and clenched his eyes shut painfully. Damn. An instant later, he was standing by him. He slammed a closed fist into an open palm and bowed quickly, respectfully. "Sir. Anzen Hokiro reporting."

So many thoughts raced through Kousa's mind, he was overjoyed but also bored, he felt tired and also anxious. He was a true kaguya, wild and unstable even in thought. Getting up quickly he entered the next room. He saw his team mate in front of his obvious Squad leader. "Names Kaguya Kousa reporting in", Kousa said brashly looking around at the other groups.

Man these guy's also made it huh?, he though coolly in his head while also trying to keep himself perfectly calm. Can't show my instability, not yet anyways, He thought to himself while flicking a finger against a his hair in the back.

Rin breathed deeply, relaxing in the morning air. Today would be the first day he spent with his new 'team'. Team Thought Rin with distaste. It had never been an easy idea for him. A gray gaze swept the room filtering through the many faces it contained. Each of these fresh individuals had been through special training to become the next, and better generation of Konoha ninja. Looking back on his own education, Rin frowned. The old academy gave little preparation for the horrors of military life. These fresh genin would be a little better prepared, but unfortunately would be voided of the character and pride building low rank missions. Rin wondered if the Hokage had his heart in the right place.

As always, Rin was far apart from the others, somehow, his personal space managed to project a bubble over a large space in the staging area. No one dared approach within speaking distance. Not even the other Chuunin or Jounin instructors thought to venture out to Rin's corner. With another deep breath, the hum of one hundred soft thuds slowly made their way into Rin's slowly elongating ears. He looked through the fidgety faces looking for those who shot nervous glances his way and honed in on some of their pulses. It was difficult, with so many other varied sounds in the room, but after a moment of concentration Rin heard the increase in hearbeat when one of them noticed his eye contact.

Fear

Rin looked away, his chakra returning to its normal flow. Another deep breath came and went as Rin closed his eyes. This was the way it was supposed to be.

The pariah's quiet reflection was short lived. Two of his new students had approached and introduced themselves. Rin flinched internally. Hardened as he was, being social wasn't his strong point. This might be the most difficult thing he faced yet. He listened to the quiet ruffle of one of their uniforms scraping against itself, and the others stoic stillness. Rin opened his eyes letting them fall appraisingly over the two. "Hmm. . ." He grumbled, casting his eyes around. Apparently not finding what he was looking for, he returned a steely gaze back to the pair. He said nothing, apparently not wanting to Introduce himself more than once.
Stuck in the see-through zone.

{Initial Classroom, Satoshi}

The shinobi boy looked slowly to his left, glancing upon his sister. He smiled back to her own wicked grin. He slowly moved to stand up, turning and nodding to her. He placed a hand out onto her right shoulder, gently stroking it through her garb. "Not to fret... We have practiced together and sparred with one another for years. We may know each others' moves inside and out, but we still function idividually. So you shall do fine."

He looked about and carefully leaned over toward Satoru's right ear. "But when not on missions, we can still meet and talk, and scheme. We can still share our company. Siblings are siblings forever, after all." He gave the girl-in-secret a soft pat upon the shoulder before starting to step away. "I shall see you again very soon, count on that!"

With that said, he walked down from the student seats and turned, walking out of the classroom. Remembering the names mentioned for his team, he began looking to see where they were headed. Of them, Toshi had headed off first. Satoshi followed the route the boy had gone, moving on toward the proper room and entering. Upon stepping inside, he saw Toshi greeting their new sensei and squad leader. Closing the door, he stepped in, bowing. "Ono, reporting. It seems I'm second to arrive..." He took a glance over to Toshi, grinning a bit.

-To Team One~-
-Satoru-

Satoru watched Satoshi leave her side, feeling crestfallen at watching her other half leave. Yet, he held such confidence in his voice, especially when he spoke positively of her. This made her smile wide, but her wide smile could be easily seen as an almost conniving grin. And so she thought it best to follow his example and find her own group, and proceeded towards the stage area.

Her steps were light, from heel to toe, heel to toe, her body gliding across the floor. Her eyes were half closed, while that smile was still there on pressed lips. But soon she smirked as she entered the giant room, glancing around. There were many people all around her, so how to find her group?

The best way was to feel them.

Her senses became attuned, the waves of chakra around her become physical. She could feel each signature, each point from each body she passed. Rhythms and pulsations, everything seemed to feel clear to her, years of training under the Ono household made her capable. This was how she and her brother could easily realize who was who, recognizing people without a glance. Each person had an individual set of waves that they could sense and interpret. And soon, she could feel two signatures that belonged to her teammates, as well as a very unfamiliar set of waves. Was it from their instructor?

But as quickly as it happened, the chakra signature simmered down. It almost made her stop walking, and she felt herself grow curious. Was it the same person?

Ooh, she'd be finding out soon.

She called out, her voice annoying toned and low, sounding like a whiny brat, "Ooooooooi! Hokiro! Kaguya!" and preceded to jumping on over. Immediately she could feel something strange in their chakra waves, which caused Satoru to smile wide, arms crossed over her binded chest, chuckling as she spoke with an almost teasing tone, "Sheesh, you guys should lighten up, you're making the air so tense. Or do I have to do something to make it . . . lighter? Heheh~"

Then her steel-blue eyes fixed upon Rin, staring at the older man for a moment before motioned a mock salute. She winked, the crossdresser taking the time to flash a sly smile. "Ono twin number two, Ono Satoru reporting for Team One! What's the gist?"

Hokiro tensed his closed eyes in dismay. They way the others carried themselves was troubling. If he hadn't seen them fight at least once during the training, he wouldn't have believed he was stuck in the same group with them. Kaguya and Ono. The latter, apparently the younger of two twins, from the information he had gleamed from the others during the exam. His skill with his bloodline limit might have been higher than his, but he didn't appreciate all this glee. It pissed him off. He proceeded to blatantly ignore every word, not even turning acknowledging that he was there.

"I call you Bunky because you look like a Bunky. Plus, I've always wanted to call someone by that name. Anyway, the exercise." He pulled out three seals and put then around his neck with a string tied to each one. "These are special seals. When I'm hit by a ninjutsu or a genjutsu, they will darken. I, of course, will see what kind of taijutsu you can pull off. Follow me." Aori led the genin to a small 'island'. It was a large rock surrounded by a river. On the other side of the river was a forest. "Alright, let's see what you got." He made a 'c'mon' gesture.
Final Fantasy IX was the best Final Fantasy game ever and if you think otherwise you are WRONG!

=Konoha Gates=

Rai nodded towards Tama as she spoke to him, she had always seemed a bit cold but the way she was treating her own teammate was a bit odd. There wasn’t really anything that he could do about that though, it wasn’t any of his business so long as it didn’t interfere with their performance.
“It’s alright I understand… we probably have some time until we’re given anything to do anyways, so relaxing for now is a good idea.” He said with a smile crossing his face. At first Rai was a bit hesitant to accept this mission from the Hokage in the first place, but it might give him a chance to get some rest for once. He doubted that they would receive any difficult missions, or at least he hoped that would be the case. Some of the events that had recently happened in his life had still left him weary of his life as a ninja, perhaps this assignment was just what he needed to gain a little perspective on things.
“Come on follow me.” He said in a friendly tone, turning away from the other two and walking into the village slowly.

=Konoha Inn=

The inn that the sand ninja were staying at was probably one of the better places to stay in Konoha. All of the rooms were quite big and well designed, having been littered with some of the finest furniture that the village had to offer. The place even had some of the best food that was indigenous to the leaf village, it was truly an excellent way to show their visitors that they appreciated their company. Rai looked around uncomfortably for a moment, he’d never seen the inside of the place and was a bit taken aback by it all.
“So… here’s the place. You’re more than welcome to sight see around the village if you want to, everyone should be aware of your presence so there won’t be any problems.” He said in a very neutral sort of way.
“If you need anything else I’ll be around.” He said as he continued to look around the room, someone like him would never like staying somewhere like this.

Cubia bowed slightly at the hopsitality.

"Thanks you...Oh, an di fyou see a few scorpions around town or anything, don;t worry abou tthem, They're mine. They're harmless unless I tell them other wise."

With that, Cubia went towards his room to get his things organized.

Inn

Tama glared at Cubia's retreating back in annoyance. "I'm sorry for my teammate this isn't a war mission, and he should of known better then to release anything that may disrupt our negotiations." Her eyes seemed to smolder with anger, she bowed low before Rai. Her expression returning to her normal calm changeless face. She looked to the rooms and smiled faintly. "These rooms are very acceptable you're too kind to the Sand." She looked relieved almost as if she could be more herself, then what was expected of her. In a second it changed and she looked back to Rai and spoke again. "If at all possible I'd like to have the scorpions removed and this will be reported to the council, as well i will not rest until the last of our team has arrived. If it's possible I would like to be informed the second she does arrive."

=Konoha Inn=

Rai lifted an eyebrow and turned his attention towards Cubia when he mentioned something about scorpions. It was certainly a surprising revelation, and something that Rai didn’t particularly enjoy hearing about. Just before he could say anything to the other chunin, Tama chided in and scolded Cubia for his actions. Rai let out a small sigh, he felt kind of bad for the other guy because of how she treated him. One second she’d be being nice to Rai then at Cubia’s throat the next. He shook his head slightly then looked towards Cubia with slightly apologetic eyes.

“Even if they are yours… we can’t have them wandering about the streets, there’s no telling how the villagers will react to it…” his tone obviously indicated that he wasn’t messing around. If they were his and followed his command, he should have kept them under better supervision.
“Please take care of that… and I’ll inform you whenever she arrives.” Rai paused for a moment before heading towards the door ready to leave the two alone.
“If you need anything else I’ll be around.” He said as he walked out of the room, waving his hand a bit as if to say I’ll see you later.
