Well... I just thought that I would give it a shot, though the problem is... I don't know too much about the chapters and their stories... All in all I have read Gaunts Ghosts.... and a Space Marine Novel on the Imperial Fists... I will need helpers for GM's... any body who has read atleast a few Novels and I can actually get this thing up and running with the help of the other GM's
I reckon the best way to go out, is to go out with both guns blazing.

I know random facts, and can RP a distopian citizen or warrior pretty well. Put me down for "Feel of setting."
"I saw it, there, in the sewers...for just a second. All hunched over, skin pale white beneath those rags...so many rags. The vermin crawled about his feet like idolaters at worship, and I swear that the wind drew breath in a frightened gasp at his passing. He wore cold like a cloak and I swear that behind that smiling golden mask he was laughing at me as his curved blade rose and fell, cutting through my men. It left wounds filled with crystals of salt...the screams...the screams...and the pants....Gods! The Pants!!!"

This is a good source for background info, but it might be slightly dated. Myself, I want to play a machine priest, or one of the Inquisitors.

See? I told you it would be dated. Wikipedia had some Tau stuff, but it was way general.

I would join, except I haven't a clue about the novels and stuff. Only that Space Marines and Dark Elders don't mix, boltguns are cool, and Orks are dirty, no-good enemies of the Imperium...

I have a character for this!

Name: Numa Alivia
Sex: male
age: 21
Class: Run away Cadian storm trooper.
Rank: (Before desertion) corporal
Armament: Hellgun, hell pistol, power sword, Storm trooper armor, frag and krak grenades
Skills: Veteran fighter of chaos forces, hand to hand specialist
appearance: 6’3â€
And God looked down upon the mortals and said: "...wtf are you noobs doing on my lawn?"

That's the problem with worshipping the god of schemes. You never quite know whether or not you're being divinely blessed, screwed over royally, or both at the same time.

My machine priest, the heritic.
Name: Tam Ciran
Sex: Male
Age: 52
Class: Heritic Machine priest
Rank: none, former priest of the Cult of the Machine of the Steel lord heratics.
Armament: Plasma pistol, enviroment suit, two robots(drednaught clones, robots in drednaught shells.) Also has samples of the Steel Lord gene seed.
Skills: The Machine priests of the Steel lords had great skill, and as the sole survivor he is the best of their number. Or maybe just the luckiest.
Bio: Ciran was born in the fortress of the Reaper, home of the Renegade Marines known as the Steel Lords. The Lords were whiped out by a crusade spearheaded by three chapeters of Ultramarines and only a tiny fragment survived. Ciran was tasked with tending the ancient machines that had been brought with them, Robots and Dreadnaughts. After several years of this he parted ways with them. Like all of the affilates of the Lords, he rejects the Divinity of the Emperor. This is obviously the blackest herasy.

My Character,

Bio:

Name: Varian Faust
Sex: Male
Age: 81
Class: Inquisitor
Rank: Inquisitor
Equipment (Note: He doen't carry this all at once) : Bolt pistol, nemesis force sword, electro flails (mounted on special gauntlets, he can't use anything else when wearing them) power knife, armaplas carapace armor with ablative layer, displacer field, armaplas storm shield, semi automatic combat shotgun, power armor with ablative reflective armor, psycannon, plasma blaster, Mk. IV drum fed bolter, hexagrammic and pentagrammic wards, psi-booster implants.

Bio:
Born on the cursed hive world of Armageddon, he struggled through much of his early life. He was in good shape and seemed destined for service in the Steel Legion, had it not been for a particular encounter with a group of gangers. The gangers pushed him into a service tunnel and demanded he give them anything of value he had, he refused, and upon searching him found he did indeed have nothing of worth. Deciding they were through with him they brought a knife to his throat and began to press...

It so happened a black ship was hovering over Armageddon at that very moment and in a perfect position to detect Varian's awakened power. They wasted no time teleporting to his location where they found him alone, huddled in a wrecked maintenance shaft was a boy, and around him a scene of destruction. The ground and walls were twisted and contorted as if smashed by a raging gaint.

He was quickly spirited away by the black ship were the nature of his powers was determined. Varian was a Telekinetic Wyrd, a individual who could tap certain psychic powers seemingly at will without being exposed to the dangers of the warp, it was also determined with training he could learn to master powers beyond his innate control.

Varian’s abilities intrigued Inquisitor Dante Forscythe. Inquisitor Dante took Varian on as an interrogator and was not disappointed. While far from the most pious member of the Inquisition, he greatly revered the Emperor and was always eager to punish his enemies. Varian showed a particular aptitude for prying confessions from Heretics, and it was no surprise that upon the completion of his training he joined the Ordos Hereticus.

Varian’s ability to remain calm despite the most extraordinary circumstances is one thing he prides himself on, as it is not something he was born with but the result of years of practice and discipline. The breaking of heretics is something he strives for, and always attempts, when prudent, to extract a confession from them before executing them. He believes that those who turn from the Emperor’s light are the greatest danger the Imperium faces, and will stop at nothing to eradicate them.

Naturally he was drawn to the Amalathian faction of Inquisitors, which consists of inquisitors who believe that it is their mission to preserve the Imperium in it’s present form. While he delights in the destruction of the enemies of the emperor, he is willing to help loyal imperial servants in need. He shuns the over use of Exterminatus, as while recognizes the dangers of demonic possession and alien infestation, he believes that exterminatus is admitting defeat, it consigns a whole world to destruction, the resources of which are now lost to the Imperium.

Abilities: As a wyrd telekinetic he is capable of innately manipulating physical objects and uses it frequently, he has however done significant studies relating to biomancy, pyromancy, and telepathy.

Edit: Changed his Wyrd powers from pyromancy to Telekinesis and changed his opion on Exterminatus somewhat.

We will start soon, as soon as I know whos alligment is who's and who versus who, and such and such, all I need to know is, Who is part of the Imperium (You know, like the Imperial Guard, then you have Space Marines, Squats...), Who is on the Orks (Gretchins, and stuff like that) side, who is on the Tau's side (their casts and such), What kind of stuff the Chaos have (And I hope we never have to fight a Chaos Noise Marine, And the same goes for the Eldar and the Necrons... I'll post my Char soon
I reckon the best way to go out, is to go out with both guns blazing.
