You're using a double-negative which contradicts what you mean to ask me.

can that sentence really be held as a double negative . I'm fairly certain the second dont doesn't nullify the first dont

Yup, I'm pretty sure that wasn't a double negative.

War of the Spider Queen: Dark Begginings

The Underdark, perpetual night to all the surface dwellers, they know of the horrors that lurk below the crust but rejoice at the knowledge that what lurks below will never come up to them, that might change unbenounced to them all. For deep below the earths crust and well beyond the revealing light of the sun and the moon, the drows of the underdark, Vicious and cruel, have begun to stir. But not in war. In panic.

The Females of drow society are the biggest of the species, often ranging from 7feet tall to somewhat taller, the dominant gender for all dark elfs. They worship the queen of evil and chaos, Lolth the spider queen, but their godess has grown silent to all but a mere handful of priestesses. Panic is starting to dwell among them as slaves openly revolt and males run rampant without fear of their superiors scolding them magically. All of the Dark Elf society is slowly unwinding at the seems and so they must resort to last options. Mercenaries.

The High Priestess of all Drow, said to be in complete synch with the will of her evil godess, Has assembled what remains of the faith that retain their power. Too few in numbers and far too weak to be left unprotected. Males of great prowess, ranging from powerful rogue to brilliant engineer, have been assembled to safeguard the priestesses on their long mission to the other societies to confirm the suspicions of their masters, that all who worship the spider are without power and to find the cause of this disturbance.

The head of Menzoberranzan, Matron Baerne, said to be the strongest drow alive, has commanded the rogues of the underdark to assemble at her call and go through with the expedition, the gold is high and the treasures are plenty as every Drow house has put its stocks towards this ultimate goal.

Humans of the surface, brought down to the underdark and have adapted, have joined in the hunt for promises of riches. Steampunk engineers of all races, dwarf included and gnome included, have been paid for their services. The Underdark is thousands of miles long with more mysteries then ever thought possible.

As part of this crew, you will be tasked with uncovering the mysteries of this strange event, and reap the strange treasures that await them.

Character typed:

The dominant race for the underdark are as follows;
Dark Elves: Black skinned, white haired, humanoids with beautiful features and extravagent ego's, they are terribly weak against the light or anything too bright, they can see perfectly in the dark and shift their eyes to the ultra-violet spectrum. They can live incredibly long, almost a thousand years, and thus are prominent in any type of fighting they choose, be it Magic or the sword.
Females are larger then males and often take the power of their godess as their own, choosing this type in this RP will still give you priestess spells, but you will be weakened for a time.

Deep Gnomes: Small creatures, darker skin then their surface counterparts and often the enemy of all Drow, mortal enemies for eternity, but accepted when they are rogue's or merchants but still watched with close eyes. Ranging from 3-4 feet. powefully built and often using Steampunk machinery and weapons, mixed with the power of magic, to power their creations and make them twice as deadly.

Iron Dwarves: Like their surface counterparts, the dwarves are short in stature often from 4 to 5 feet maximum. Powerfully built and master crafters, these diminutive creatures share a border with the deep gnomes but are not locked in conflict, they supply drow society with minerals and precious metals, often with powerful weapons. Many can be seen in the city working the forges, while the Elves give their armor and weapons the powerful drow magic of power. Thats not to say they don't have their own secrets.

Lesser Creatures: Treated as such due to the drows superiority complex.
Humans.
Elves.
Orcs.
Surface Dwarves/Gnomes
Kobolds (Especially these)
Draegloth - Formely Drow but shaped to be Drow-centaurs, half drow but with an arachnid underbody.
Often used as guards for more powerful drows.

As a rule, you should say that any character that is even loosely related in story or character to a certain other character in fiction will be banned.
