Matt thought to himself, "What in the world is going on here?' and as everyone watched Alex, he quickly waved his hand through the air and everyone began moving slowly. Matt walked over to where Alex was and saw him slowly pulling a girl out of Boomer's shadow. Since Matt was moving so quickly, neither Boomer nor Alex nor Brian knew he had moved. He then walked back over to where he was standing before and waved his hand again, and everyone began moving at normal speed again.

She squirmed and tried to jump to Brian's shadow. She managed to slip away but he tore off a piece of her skirt. Damn... She decided that staying in Brian's shadow was a really bad idea.

She held up her hands. "Hey, I don't have the book. If you want it back you can't kill me." With that she went back into her shadow form and went through the floor again.

"Well, Brian, I think I'll be heading home." Alex walked over to Brian's shadow and started shadowporting, but something blocked him. "What the hell?" He reached into the shadow and sifted through t for a moment before pulling out the Book of the Dead. He placed it off off the side and finished shadowporting home. He came out of a shadow in his basement, the De Le Metalica in his hand. A sword in a large circle was nearby. Alex opened the De Le Metalica, and finished the circle. He started chanting in Latin, and an eerie light enveloped him and the sword. When he was done, the sword was nearly half the size it had been moments ago, and now could not be destroyed. He placed the sword and the book in the world between, and went upstairs to go to sleep.

Matt looked awkwardly at Brian thinking to himself, "There's nothing you can do for me, cuz I don't even know you!" But he refused to make a bad impression.

Boomer said, "Well nuthin, now," then he said, "Oh, ummm well this is Matt, he's new here!"

Matt forced a smile and said, "Hi!"

Matt laughed, 'I have to show you too?"

Matt waved his hand and levitated Brian in the air, then sat him back down.

"Well, I can do that and this!" Matt touched Brian's shoulder then waved his hand through the air again.

As soon as Matt did this, Brian still looked as if nothing happened. Then, Matt pushed Boomer and Boomer began falling slowly.

Then Matt said, "Well, I pretty much just made our bodies move so fast that Boomer can't see us!"

"Ummmm, I guess so. I think I can time travel, too, but I never really tried, well except once when I tried to save my mom from dying, but I couldn't, I mean I was always a second too late, but maybe I could try ummm... I t calls for a lot of energy, but...." Matt began concentrating on his power really hard, Then, he grab Brian's arm and they saw everything happen in reverse. They saw Boomer talking, then they saw Alex walking backwards and Alex talking to someone. Finally they saw Mandy and she was appearing from under the floor and jumped back into where Brian's shadow was, then they saw Boomer walking back outside of the house. Then, Matt collapsed on the floor. Then he jokingly said, "Well, I guess I can control time!" He then jumped up from off of the floor and saw Alex looking at him awkwardly.

Mandy turned into a shadow again and went back into the compound. She was hidding as one of the book shelve's shadow. Now I just need to get back into Brian's shadow. Good thing, that other shadow user left.

Brian walked over to the Book of the Dead, took it out of its case, and looked at the first page. It was writtien in Egyptian hyroglyphichs, but he could understand it.

'WHOEVER READ THIS BOOK WILL SUFFER UNLIVING PAIN.'

"Pfft. Stupid warnings and all..." he muttered. He flipped a page. A strange shadow set into the room. It was one that Mandy or Alex could not use, for it was a living shadow. Made of the pain and suffereing of mankind. Slowly, a hand formed, and began to reach towards Brian with sharp claws...
