Eh, what can I say?
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

I guess I do find it nice that Officer Warthog is there? But it's not necessarily an unlikely hero since...well they're doing their job, right?

The panel at the top is freaking me out with the building being a part of it.
Licorice being cocky makes me want to know, at least what she thought she would have been able to do, if Officer Warthog did not intervene.

It's becoming a pattern! First GT, now SB, soon every new page that is to come in Bleedman's current comics.

First the four panels of nothing with GT, now this shit. These pages only come every other week, god forbid Bleed makes them worthwhile.

An entire page. A few people hoped for a third party intervention, and we get a secondary character that people just melds into the background. An entire page just for this.

Not to mention they completely shifted mood in a crappy way. Personally, I'd prefer them to stick to the mood on this page, so can't complain too much. I'm just hoping they don't screw up the next page.

See? Unmemorable.

This is a splash page with no impact. But I do not think we can complain about it. Bleed goes out of his way to make something. Regardless of quality, we contribute nothing to the creation of the end result so we can't really complain.

I have a strange feeling that warthog wants a go at Lico.

Then that would just add to more nonsense violence

A whole page for this guy just so he can take a whack at Lico

Or at least a bribe to either: A. look the other way or B. Help her out of this situation (if his personality is anything like it was previously).

I'm not sure about a bribe. Seeing these guys pull out something to bribe him just seems too off.

@Orange
This page, more out less, is meant to make warthog look like a hero.

I meant that he probably wants a bribe, hence his intervention
Whether he'll get one or not, I doubt it

To make him look like a hero, yes, but we'll see how that goes in the next page. I only say this because of NEK's comment.

If the theory on is he wants to take whack at her or not is like the thing with boo bear

We all think he's a bad dude but turns out he's not

We get hog over here who seems to saving the day but it turns out he's not

But the bribe sounds better

I do like the idea of dirty cops in a rundown city. But the bribe thing seem a bit odd here. I wonder if Lico is gonna frame Jayce for Boo Bear's murder. I feel like this is very possible.

Surprisingly, I was gonna say that. Hahah

Hmm...if Licorice blames Jayce for the murder of BooBear, I'm not sure how Office Worthog would react. If the personality of his, and rules of the city, are the same...then wouldn't BooBear be under arrest or something for being so kind to the orphans or something?

Is it just me or has Bleed's style become much more...stylized? The old drawing of Officer Wart(wort?)hog seems much more detailed, even if the colouring shows its age, so to speak.

Well his colouring style has definitely changed. It has lost that gritty look it used to have.

Given the way the laws work in Dystopius (assuming they are the same as they were in the original SB) Officer Warthog might simply want a bribe, but he could also be planning to lend Jayce his nightstick on the grounds that that can do more damage. We have "assault with a deadly weapon" maybe Dystopius has "assault with an insufficiently deadly weapon". Heck given some of the dark paths this comic has gone maybe there is a law there that prevents you stabbing a cute blond little girl unless you rape her first. (I'm not saying I want this to happen, merely that it seems to be consistent with a law system that bans compassion and exalts depravity.)
