Now, let's not be too hasty.

I actually think this part is good. Is does a pretty good job setting up two scenes at once. Demongo is telling Chi offscreen about Castle Grimskull, while Onscreen we see Junior "once again" attempting to feed Mimi.

Now, in a horrible imperfect world, both of these specific things, the Conversation with Demongo and the deliverance of the cookies could have been done in two separate pages. At least this way, twice as much ground is being covered.

It could be more I will admit, but it could be so much less as well.

Meh, if GT did start not updating for a few years, I wouldn't care anymore either. All we got is another little girl trying to break into Castle Grim while Jr. is attempting to once again trying to shove food down Mimi's throat for quite possibly the 15th time.

You'll have to excuse me if I'm severely low on both of those things at this point. I had to really bring myself to care enough to even read this page. *Sigh* Maybe shit will get interesting soon.

I willing to see how things so with the Grim family. But I'll be pretty disappointed if we see them for maybe three pages then it's back to Chi for ten before she tries to infiltrate the castle.

I feel a bit of Warhammer 40K influence in those weapons. Probably just because the skulls and decorative design is something that these share with the 40K weapons.

I wonder if they came with the battleship or were created by Mandy...

They follow the design scheme of the ship so I am guessing they are part of it. I like the idea that Mandy believes in conservation of effort. That even though she has advanced weaponry, she would not use it on a single intruder but instead keep it as an ace up her sleeve. So when a larger force comes, thinking the defenses are weak because their intelligence is bad, she will have an advantage.

Looks like Junior's got some more muffins for Mimi. She'll either start warming up to him for bringing them... or go straight for them like a wild animal, completely ignoring the fact that he was the one that brought them. There are other possibilities, I'm sure, but those two strike me as two of the more likely scenarios.

So another interesting question then. Assuming that this is like every other Bleed work, and he never does something original, who do we know that flies around with skulls on their ship?

Mandy should have invested in a better alarm system. They didn't detect Mimi til she got to the castle wall.

I understand how Mimi may have bypassed everything, she had a map.
But, this scene is establishing that Chi is in the dark about Grim Skull.

I'm personally expecting an army. If Chi is there alone, I'll be disappointed.

@Blood
I mentioned that Monkey's armor reminded me of SRMTHG! Grim Skull's design reminds me of something the Skeleton King would use.
It's been a long time since I've seen the show though, plus the art style is different, so I'm not sure.

I really don't think she would bring an army. Where would she get an army from? An army is hardly stealthy. How would Aku not notice his army leaving. It takes longer than a day to mobilize and army with no prior notice. What general in their right mind would just follow a child in an act of war without even mentioning it to the man who is really in charge?

I'm sorry but you are going to be disappointed my frie.... Frie...... um... You guy

Rather difficult to compare. http://srmthfg.wikia.com/wiki/Skeleton_King
The wikis aren't very detailed. I tried finding more pictures of his minions any maybe even a ship, but I got lazy >.>

Ha, Mark Hamill voiced him.

I see the similarities though.

There's not going to be an army. There's already talk of war in the Underworld, so Aku's troops would most likely be busy for that. And Aku's not gonna say, "Oh, you want to use my army to rescue your girlfriend? Okay, bring'em home by 6 o clock sweetie!" He's loves his daughter, but he's not stupid. Besides, the most logical thing for her to do is to either go alone or go with maybe two or three people with her to help, but I doubt she'll bring anyone along for this.

I should correct myself. I'm expecting more than just Chi. Whether it's an ally, Demo becoming useful combat wise, a weapon she would have access to. Something besides, "My kewl powus yo!"

I understand that Aku's powers are above and beyond, but I don't see Chi as someone that would go in so ill prepared.
I'm expecting her to be someone more rational, especially since she has had the time to prepare.

Okay that makes much more sense. Yeah, I agree. She doesn't seem like the kind to be confident for no reason. Even if she is seriously underestimating the place she is trying to break into.

I'm glad to see the story moving on. I'm kind of curious as on how to see Chi break into Castle Grim. Me thinks she'll have a lot more trouble than Mimi (whose magical plot armour basically gets her everywhere).

Well, Mimi's break in was to also imply that there's a spy in Grim Skull, due to the map.

I don't see an abuse of plot armor with Mimi.
I do see her character being used too often for the sake of Jr.

Actually when she mentioned Plot armor I started thinking.

I mean, if she really needs to, she can pull a house out from under her skirt. How many times has she dodged crazy situations because of her abysmally deep pantline? I want to say at least two. Once during training with the Vampire, another while fighting with Mandy. That's just from off the top of my head.
