New PpGD: " 'The Early... Year' - The 2004 Era"

Noolus, Battus, and Sam originally said

Noolus: What was my name again? Noolus? Yeah, that follows the Cluster naming convention.

Battus: I'm Battus! You don't know it yet, but I like soliloquies!

Samantha: Nyeh! I'm Samantha and I'm cooler than you! I'm also a robot, and also totally alive.

but Bleedman changed it up, and I was like "EH. EH. Sure. Whatevs."

You guys see the real lines here, like deleted scenes, director's commentary, DVD special!

I wonder if there's a gag reel to go with that DVD Special lol

Anyways, about time there's a new page up! The re-cap is done well! Can't wait to see the other chapters!

My opinion about this "10 years in the making" thing hasn't changed, but at the very least I can say the art is great, as usual.

Well, at least we got nearly half of the story in one page, so it's not as bad as I expected.
Disclaimer: If you don't agree with my opinion, I'm not a comic reviewer or a writer, I'm just an asshole. Also, I'm probably drunk right now.

Aww, was kinda hopin' we'd see the RRB in the recap...

Ah, well. This looks great, and we're moving at a good speed.

Meh. This page didn't do much to me, nor the silly comments made by the characters. Feels like the story's seriousness is being mocked.

I just wish we FINALLY could move on from that tiresome battle between the Puffs and Bell and Samantha. It's about goddamn time.

Besides, anyone wanting a re-cap could always re-read the previous chapters of the comic.

No average random noob can be expected to read years worth of a comic before posting
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Great summary indeed. Is always cool see the girls and Bell again. :)

Also I am glad the RRB arent here. Beside I dont like them, I dont think they are important or revelant at all for the comic. But we will see what happen later.

This entire page is just 'dripping' with BR. I can see it, feel it, taste it.

I wonder what spurned this whole 'recap' in general?

I believe a fairly new member suggested it, and BR went with it.

Bell looks really weird and warped in the third panel, it's like the more you look at her there the more distorted she becomes.

I don't see it.
When you meant by "the more you look at her", are you saying stare at her for a lot of minutes/hours? Because I'm sure that'll cause some distortion.

The RowdyRuff Boys should've been mentioned in the third chapter, but in most cases, even I am a fan of them, it doesn't matter. Only time will tell what's next for them.

Still good post!

I think there are about 10 or 11 chapters. So far we've covered five. How many more pages do you think it'll take to sum everything up, one or two? I'm hoping there's only one more page, but once you think about it there's a lot to cover.

No, I mean as in you notice something off quickly and then you try to figure out if it's perspective or something and you look at it for a couple of minutes just trying to see what it is. I think it's just the shape of the face being strange in addition to the smile and expression in the eyes.

The head in generally just looks very square compared to how she looks normally since the angle extends the chin so much more.

I wouldn't go with three pages for the chapters recap. I would go with at least two pages. Its sounds reasonable. Because we're dealing with around ten chapters. So, having a third page of the recap would be pointless and would be a waste since Bleedman fit in five panels here. He may have five panels on the next one and that would be like how he has Chapter 2 in this recap.

I wanna say one more page since we've pretty much covered about half the chapters so far, so it makes sense that the next page will cover chapters 6 through 10 (which I think are the only ones we have left to cover). Yet, at the same time, there's a shit ton of content to cover once you think about. I'm not sure if we'd be able to fit it all in one more page. So I'm thinking either one or two more pages, but I'm hoping for just one.

This whole recap is being done in honor of PpGD 10th year anniversary. I sorta get that feeling too, but considering the pace of this comic, it's not really that surprising.
