I keep wanting to make a bane joke but I can't find one good enough to justify.

All I will say is Blossom strangely almost makes that mustache look good. She pulls it off quite nicely.

All of this came from a comment that Bell's gas mask in the last comment made her look like Bane? lol

I was the one that made that comment.....I'm not sure how I'm suppose to feel about this.
But regardless, this page was pretty funny.

Didn't BR say this page took like, three hours or something, or was that just getting things set up?

If that is true and Bleed did do this then he is really impressive. Definitely worthy of respect for that at least

@ Sigment Kurosai - JoGir sounds a lot better than what I came up with! He might say, "Why so Funny?" For a page like this, that is.

@ Nell-X - What's so od... Wait. I know what you're seeing. I just figured it out. The arm around Blossom. Oy!

Something like that. But whatever it was, it made me think "if they can get a page out that fast, why do we wait weeks at a time?"

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the time that BR gave out about the matter.

That, or Bleed's one hell of a procrastinator.

I think it might have to do with how light hearted this was. Joke pages and what not.

I have allot of trouble believing that most of the time it takes to produce a page comes from the writing. I would have thought they would write these things a chapter at a time. I am not saying that writing does not take time or effort. I just have a hard time believing that the writer did not already have this storyline thought out a year ago. Ether somebody made a mistake about how long it takes to draw or Bleedman works ridiculously fast and just does about 100 commissions a day and that is where all his time goes. That or maybe he does actually have a job outside of his commissions.

Well. With writing, making a character act like themselves is difficult for some. With this comic, it needs to seem believable that these characters are acting like matured versions of the original. I've read a few fanfics outside the site, and god...the number of ppl that just do what they want is irritating.

That is the trouble with fanfiction. Overzealous youngsters often get caught up in the whirl of creation in a vacuum. They forget the value in making sure the creation is so internally consistent that looking in on it might not actually remind them of purely themselves.

Sometimes you just got to admire them for the creativity of their imagination. Hopefully, one day, those people will get their facts straight and look back at their writing and critique themselves instead of others. Also, bring more to their vocabulary and such. Like an artist would, for example! An artist would draw until few years later, he/she improves on the art and look back on the art he/she did years ago and critique themselves. Why? Because they've improve over the years.

I look at myself when doing that and my former comic book instructor and friend, Alvin Lee. These days he starts rendering his art with Copic Markers. So, yeah...

But even though an artist or writer would critique themselves, they still got to be proud of what they grew up with and what made them of who they are today.

Cape, not trench coat. Thought it would be obvious I was referring to Buttercup, unless her position is actually panel two then I apologize.

Technically it is panel two, as it's a separate angle. I knew you meant Buttercup, though if it makes you feel better.
