Thats the thing, imagine Chi meeting mimi how she is now, she'll probably say something along the lines of "turn her back" or try to force him to do it. Mimi herself has never explicitly stated that she likes or dislikes her more demonic side, she merely had it stripped away and brought back, the only certain thing I've seen is that she seemed to like both Grim Jr. and Chi, though to what degrees for each of them i dont even.

It all really depends on whether or not being normal makes her happy and who she wants more

(Grim Jr. has perverbially his own kingdom Tenshi so that point is moot, they are both heirs)

Yep, I've mentioned a couple times, how I want to see Minnie get the Him essence, and we watch an all out brawl of versatility.

So we finally reached a new chapter. I look forward to some dialog between Aku and Him (at least I hope that's what's gonna happen next). It could give us some insight into various things, such as Chi's conception, the heroes of Megaville, and/or the rest of the Underworld. But at this point, I'm not holding my breath. Bleedman seems to have a really hard time getting to the point. There's an awful lot of beating around the bush in this comic.

I feel that it is most likely that's Chi will destroy the case containing the Symbiote in Grim castle, and instead of going to Mimi, as she would originally expect, it would probably go to Minnie instead.

I had a similar thought about Chi since she (like her dad) can presumably genderswap, I'm wondering what happens when and if her an Mimi ever get.......intimate.

I'm remembering a version of X-Men where Mystique did that. Gender swap and get someone pregnant.

Huh, well we have seen how Mimi reacts to Jr and we have seen how Mimi reacts to Chi. But then you have to consider that while Mimi and HER might not be split personalities, they are different enough to have different opinions on things. Not to mention how Chi might react to fiance being human.

Yup, it's damn near impossible for me to read Aku's lines here in any voice other than Iroh's. Yes, I know it's the same voice actor, but his Aku and Iroh were distinguishable. The setting and references to Iroh here are what make me see him like that. Honestly, I'd like for Aku to have a more Iroh-ish personality in this comic. Obviously he's still evil, but it's nice to see his compassionate side now and then. Hopefully we'll get some details from Him now and what his plans are.

Were they distinguishable? I didn't think so, but meh.

Agreed, and I think we have been seeing that right now.

There is a notable difference to me. Aku's voice always seemed deeper and more accented.
I wonder, would Aku retire because he was afraid of the possibility of Chi being targeted?

How would stepping down make your heir less of a target? He's just not active in the Underworld politics, I don't thin he's given the reins over to Chi yet.

I guess that would depend if he was killed at Megaville.

Well, Mako was a couple years OLDER when he did Iroh. Also there is tone, Aku is usually angry or contemptuous, Iroh isn't. If you compare it to say Mako's famous closing speech from all the Conan movies, you see the difference (there it's sort of half way between, Aku depth, Iroh delivery)

I'm really hoping that Samurai Jack, one of the heroes, or at least someone, is out to get Aku, Chi and/or Him. Because right now, I feel there's a severe lack of tension. If all of their enemies are dead, and they have nothing left to fear, then that's awfully boring.

Sure we have this "underworld war" in the works, but as it sets, the whole thing seems kinda shallow. I would like to see something that would present a direct, and immediate threat.

Truth be told; for the longest time now, I've really wanted to see someone break into Aku's domain, and try to kill Chi.

i have a feeling that if something along those lines happens, it will be either Buttercup or Buttercups kid. I think it would be a little more dramatic, if not funny that it's Buttercups kid going up against Chi or Mimi not knowing who she is. But it's highly speculative that Buttercup even has a kid so who knows...
