You'll never know, Sigment haha! Just don't count her out yet. I wouldn't want to underestimate a character by how broken down they are. I mean, if you still have that willpower to do whatever it takes, then yeah! Once you put your mind to something, you can do anything!
This was awesome. I love a good fight scene. Bell getting the piledriver, reminded me of No More Heroes. I'm hoping to see Bell get some significant battle damage here. It's high time she got her fair share of injuries.
I think you guys might be right about Blossom using tactics to over power Samantha's raw power. I'm kinda wondering about the right half of Sams head. Why is it being covered up in this page? Is it still somewhat? I'm still holding on to the thought that parts of her are still organic, like the right side of her head. I'm also hoping for this, because it'll set a darker, more dramatic tone when she finally kicks the bucket.
I have also been waiting for Samantha to just die. Maybe in her "life flashes before her eyes" moment, we'd finally see the darkness inside that motivated her to join Dr. X. Also... is Sam's hair alive?
I actually wonder if Mandark is gonna stay dead. It's not exactly a given. The body was presumably never found and although Grim did appear, he's not necessarily a stickler when it comes to claiming souls as he's proven time and again.
I think I'd like it better if Mandark stayed dead. He's kinda already filled role in the story. Although I strongly believe we need some more villains in this comic, I'd prefer it if we got some new ones instead.
We know for a fact that she will die before the bomb goes off. I completely agree with you on everything about Sam. I also like the idea of her life flashing before her eyes. I would like to know about her back story and motives too. I remember BR said it would involve Grim somehow (I think). I kinda want her to die in a way that'll make us feel sorry for her. As suppose to just a mindless monster. However, given her current "aesthetics", it's kinda hard to see that happening.
I don't know why only her hair would be alive, unless other parts of her (like part of her head) was also organic.

Well, if this time bomb's sending everyone backwards, then the possibility exists that they'll go far back enough to where he'd still be alive when they get there.
Got to agree with firebird there. Isn't there sayings that go along with that idea. Like "a cande always burns the brightest before dying" or "never fight a cornered tiger". I may be off on these sayings, but they basically mean the same thing. Someone on the losing side of a fight is that much more dangerous.
Yes, that is a Piledriver that Buttercup did to Bell. I would know, I follow wrestling. A suplex is a grapple technique by grabbing the opponent from behind and lifting him/her overhead and slamming the opponent behind you. There should be vids to know the wrestling terms like German Suplex and Dragon Suplex. In this case, I believe that Buttercup did a Spinning Piledriver like Zangief from Street Fighter due to the swirl effects/waves in the last panel or just a regular drop just to signify the impact on how badly Buttercup used that grapple technique on Bell.
@ strider0075 - Yeah, I grew up with these sayings. Its why I don't judge people too quickly. Its best to have faith in others cause people are full of surprises. Pretty much a saying like: Down, but not out or The Battle Is Yours, But The War Is Far From Over.
Here's a song from an awesome game that I've played long time. I guess some of us have!
Can I start calling Buttercup "The Green Cyclone?" Not only do I like the use of the move, that final panel is a great homage to the original official art of Zangief's signature move.

Except Samantha is wielding a sword that cannot harm the innocent, and presumably Blossom fits that category. Blossom could probably outmaneuver any of Samantha's barehanded assaults, so Blossom doesn't have much to worry about from Sam.
