Awesome little short I found, Starring the children of the Gods of Death as they attend school. Just thought I would share.

I enjoyed this way more than I was expecting to. The colours looked great and that last scene. someone needs to base a series on this.

That was way more cuter than I thought it was going to be.

The animation was really good and I loved the design of... well everything. The characters, the backgrounds, the shading, every frame of animation was a joy to behold in all its dark yet silly atmosphere.

I also liked the little thing that went on with Reaper Jr. and the little ghost girl and how he eventually won her over. If that kid ends up being the new Grim Reaper I'd be fine with that, a messenger of death that's there to lead you by the hand to your final destination as a guide rather than something to be feared. I like the way this little short made death seem like something more nice and comforting and a natural part of life in the end rather than something dreadful and gloomy. It was a surprisingly well done counter balance to how cynical the short had been earlier and it makes the viewer (or me at least) appreciate the rather upbeat ending even more.
Also the designs of Reaper Jr. and the ghost girl was rather cute as well as the sweater Reaper Jr. knitted for her.

I personally believe that Death Jr. is herself a girl (both the pink tie to her robe and the highness of her squeaks) but other than that I am in 100% agreement with you. And a part of me knows it could have been very dark indeed. When the needle in the beginning stopped over France, I was sort of afraid that they'd be adding Cristophe in (Cristophe was a reaper who was created by some French writer (forget who). as the "Demon of Death" ( as opposed to "Angel of Death") He' supposed to look just like Death except that he wears no robe. He specializes in "bad deaths" ones that are unfair or cause great suffering (he's the one who would show up to reap children from their parents, or separate true lovers, or cause the death of leaders who passing plunged their nations into war and terror.) But Death jr. does seem like a nice reaper as well as a fair one (I'm fairly sure Anubis cheated with the rabbit)

Deathigner was cuter than I thought. I'd like to see that worked into a series.
Stufflikehearts - He is a Sith Lord. I love Blood Lord :3
Jeffffey - Blood, you look at the information someone says, look over what really happened, and reply in a way that makes them realize what they were really thinking.
Light10s - Blood Lord! Your avatars are becoming more epic. You make me feel like getting on all fours and submitting my loyalty and obedience to you.
Fievel - Numerous campaigns and conquests, countless bodies decaying after the abandonment of victorious battlefields. Such is the life of Blood Lord.
Dusk_Imp - Blood Lord is like a celebrity here. Everything he does is pure awesome. ALL HAIL BLOOD LORD
Doctress Who - Why couldn't there be a Blood Lord in every forum? It would make life so much easier.

Well, they'd have to do a whole bunch of gods' kids.

And, if class of the titans is anything to go by...

It would be wonderful to see done well, could also have some good teachings of religion and culture which would be a nice bonus, if the writers did their research.

I believe we can all learn a life lesson from this. That lesson being if you want to be popular then grab the guy you hate, go on a quest, get awesome weapons, grow a beard, KILL WITCHES AND GET BITCHES! It is just that simple! What's that? Socialising is the key to making friends and meeting attractive people? I have never heard anything so absurd!

If Deathigner was made into a series, it would have to feature his adventures as depicted in the closing credits. If you wanted to see his in-class antics, it would have to be a Death School spin-off... but a show about a school for death gods only would be kind of meh. Maybe it could be like Harry Potter and have an assortment of classes for god children so they would be able to figure out for themselves what kind of god they could be.

If Deathigner was made into a series, the look of animation and the characters would likely be changed slightly. Fans of the original short would have mixed feelings (disgust since they already grew fond of the original style, and love because at least now it's a series)

Also, I think the real REWARD was finally realizing just how badass they had become.
I just love how people put commas, in places they so obviously, do not belong.

I don't know about you, but I love the Young Justice animated series.
So I became the 44,901st signer of this petition to bring the series back.
