It probably would have been better if they'd carefully placed the reveals throughout the series, or at least chose to end the series in a different spot (maybe even continue the rest of the fight in an OVA or something). As much as I loved episode 6, I do have to admit that its place in the series was sort of unnecessary (at least make it an extra Blu-ray episode or OVA). That was an episode that could have been used to further the plot, which is especially important in short series such as this one.
Also, something interesting that I just discovered, Sakura was an Anime original character ._. So, the time that was spent on her could have also been used to further the plot. It makes me wonder how far apart the anime wandered from the source material....
I'd love to read the LN of this series, just to see how the anime fares against the original source material. If it had a manga, I'd read that.
