Maaaan. I've had this name ever since Diablo 1 back when I was like... seven. Had it ever since. My name's history is shrouded in the "Lord of Terror" Diablo, but I guess a fun little distraction would be to ask other people the inspiration for their names would be?

I'm interesting in what Q.U. means to be honest. :D

For all I know, that could be the actual meaning. I never found out.

but I guess a fun little distraction would be to ask other people the inspiration for their names would be?

This though, is fun.

My name comes from my OC. Sigment Kurosai (for those who are too lazy to visit the Lit section) is the main protagonist in my story. Originally it was just "Sigment", a name I used on an MMO once, until a friend of mine tacked on the last name Kurosai.

Ah, I used a lot of names in MMOs myself, none of which as titlerific as Birdofterror, but a few other names.

It's fun to start off with a harmless name then have it grow into something greater over the years. 8)

One reason why I use that name a lot.

BANDWAGON!!!

Tenshi means angel. I thought it was cute >.>

Nova is the name of a special mutation in my world, The Order. I would call it a story, but there's a shit ton of stories in the world. It took me roughly 3 years to pick which stories I wanted to be the 'main' story. The character I based off myself has this mutation :3

I have a few handles, but these are the ones I chose for here for some reason. :p

Edit: Also by shit ton, I mean that I eventually plan to make an RP here for it, and anything that happens in it, happens in the world...s...worlds :D

Well Randori has an interesting background.
Wikipedia wrote:Randori (乱取り?) is a term used in Japanese martial arts to describe free-style practice. The term literally means "chaos taking" or "grasping freedom," implying a freedom from the structured practice of kata.

Funny, and I thought I created a new word, when in fact the word has been used for decades.
While Exodis is a word I created (based on Exodus) that means "ghost".

Postby Cerulean » Mon Nov 11, 2013 10:10 pm

Cerulean happens to be one of my favorite shades of blue c:

Cerulean also happens to remind me of the days of Pokemon Red/Blue & the earlier days of the Pokemon series. So win-win.

This is the first time I've used Cerulean as a name anywhere.

As for my first name here, topaz is my birthstone, and blue is my favorite color, so I just combined them :p
Not exactly creative, but it worked (for a little while at least). It was also the first name I ever used for mmos

My turn. Not a very interesting story, but here it is: When I decided to join, I wanted a unique word; something made up. But I couldn't come up with anything, and so I decided to pick something simpler. Fullmetal Alchemist crossed my mind and I remembered Gene Havoc, so I decided to role with that. I added the 751 at first because I wasn't sure if there were any other Havocs in the forums. Oddly enough, I almost went with Delsus.

Changing your name to a completely different one means you abandon who you were though, some people here have already done that so i don't think their names are worth the same. I feel there is a very crucial difference from changing one's name to reflect maturity and changing one's name because of possible indecisiveness, which reflects kinda badly imo lul.

It's really not that special of a tale. My name use to be Blood Knight, but I changed it to Blood Lord after a few months of being on the site.

Why did I choose that name? In the past, I told people that we had a airsoft team called Blood Knights, the leader of each unit was a Blood Lord. Before the team fell apart, I was the leader of one squad out of the two we had. I liked the names, but I don't remember why I decided to use them for here. My name for things at the time was Stormrage, its my XBL name, and was even a little nickname on the back of my airsofting vest.

But ever since using Blood Lord, its become a thing for me. A little too much considering that I have the name on my snowboard and my old dirt bike chest protector.

Always interesting to hear peoples' reasonings
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Tuor is a character from Tolkien's works. Mostly the Silmarillion, but there's stuff about him in other places too. I pretty much just thought he was bad ass, so ya. He's Elrond's grandpa. He was one of the few of the race of Men allowed to marry an elf. Like Aragorn he was raised by elves, but eventually captured by men in Morgoth's service. He escaped and lived as an outlaw until one of the gods of Midde-Earth ordered him to go to the hidden elven kingdom of Gondolin to warn the king that Gondolin may soon fall. He delivered his message and was allowed to stay, eventually marrying the king's daughter and having a son.

Eventually Gondolin was attacked and Tuor was one of the leaders that led the defence of the city, slaying 7 balrogs. The city still fell, though, and he and his family fled. Eventually he built a ship and sailed to the undying lands, where a special exception was made, and Tuor was counted as Elven kindred and allowed to enter. The only man that exception has been made for
