I wasn't sure what to make of them for a while- then I put it into perspective.

These are western renditions of eastern renditions of western characters.
(Or at least western renditions of an eastern looking story based on characters from the west.)

Putting that in mind and appreciating it fully, these are very good. Bell looks like she's trying to burn a hole in my soul with her eyes; but good nonetheless.

Semantics. Been watching the show, and they always use male pronouns (He, him, etc.), but never say boy or guy. They say child or kid. He's (don't care) not genderless in the sense that he's neither gender, but in the sense that his gender in indiscernible.

They only call Crona him in the series because in the English language there is no gender neutral pronoun.

I know that. It's force of habit, though. For some reason I don't feel comfortable calling a person "it".

Use "they", then
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Please, please use "they." Don't ever call a person "it," especially not a real person. That's dehumanizing, and unless someone specifically uses it as their pronoun and asks you to call them that, don't ever use "it."

But do you think a person would like to be called "it"?
Makes them sound like a creature.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

I reiterate, only call someone "it" if they specifically tell you that's their preferred pronoun.
Otherwise, stick with "they" when referring to a person whose gender you don't know. Not "it."

You did a great job on Walker's son ari, I can easily see him being an enforcer of the rules (A Walker Mini-me, unless you know he's tall or something). I also like the design you gave to Minnie in HER form. The white hair (instead of blonde) paired with her new hairstyle (I like the way you combined her two signature styles instead of choosing one) look great. The other one is dark Blossom right? (I don't remember the exact name). Good job on everyone else too, they look great c:

Thank you so much. I am really very glad that you could tell who they were supposed to be. No4 was one of Mad Mutt's OCs, he would think it looks ok.

Well, you got a decent grasp of color (although your choices for hues are a bit too saturated but that's a personal taste sort of thing) and you got the manga style shading going on right. The perspective throws me off in a few cases in this picture and it's specially damaging in bell and crona's case but besides that i'd say you'd just need to keep working on the proportions (elbows should be even with bellybuttons, i know crona is wearing some kind of robe but even so it seems like her bellybutton is a few inches lower in your pic). Also i'm not sure what kind of manga style you took inspiration from, i don't know how realistic a style you're aiming for so i don't know how much you care about stuff like that, but with those eyeglobes i'm curious to know how the brain is positioned inside their skull. Still what you got there has plenty of potential.

Huh. I stood up and checked as well. That's handy to know.
Stufflikehearts - He is a Sith Lord. I love Blood Lord :3
Jeffffey - Blood, you look at the information someone says, look over what really happened, and reply in a way that makes them realize what they were really thinking.
Light10s - Blood Lord! Your avatars are becoming more epic. You make me feel like getting on all fours and submitting my loyalty and obedience to you.
Fievel - Numerous campaigns and conquests, countless bodies decaying after the abandonment of victorious battlefields. Such is the life of Blood Lord.
Dusk_Imp - Blood Lord is like a celebrity here. Everything he does is pure awesome. ALL HAIL BLOOD LORD
Doctress Who - Why couldn't there be a Blood Lord in every forum? It would make life so much easier.

I didn't know that either. An interesting lesson in Human Anatomy, if I may say so myself.

@Ari-6: Like Tenshi, I myself can't really offer much help in the way of advice, since I'm not a very big "art person". But in my opinion it looks very good, nicely done. The 'Minnie with Mimi's powers' one is my favorite. The Walker's son is my second favorite.

I agree. Calling someone "It" borders on insulting. I think you're right, the best way to go is plural pronouns; such as they, them, their, they're, etc. when referring to a someone who's gender is unknown.
