Yep, I did. The abridged series even makes a joke (or two, or fifteen) about it.

This episode was probably made before He even began abridging so I would doubt it. He probably just wants to include a lot of humor to keep it felling fresh. I doubt Monty cares that someone is abridging RWBY. At least he does not seem like the kind of person who would.Krest wrote:Is it just me, or does the high level of comedy in this episode seem like a challenge from Monty Oum to Alpha Jaune ?
Definitely. They killed the bigger thing in the coolest way!Krest wrote: However, RWBY definitely showed JNPR up.

The bird... made rookie moves? The bird made rookie moves? When I hit a bird with a stone I do not say the bird made rookie moves. When I catch a fish I do not say the fish made rookie moves. When I stand on a spider I do not say the spider made rookie moves. This started out as a rant I think but then I started thinking about how amusing it would be if I did do all of those things. From now on whenever I kill something, my excuse will be "It made rookie moves" or perhaps "It clearly showed hesitation in not dying". Anyway I just meant that the way they killed the bird looked cooler. I was not implying that it was much harder.Krest wrote:Eh, I'd say the bird was much dumber than the scorpion. That also needs to be taken into account. The bird made many rookie moves - including hesitation.
